I got this because I thought it was a photography book featuring gorgeous interiors. There was plenty of text, and believe me I tried. But I just went for the photographs in the end because the text felt very much (as per my hubby who also got a shot at reading) wikipedia copy-paste. Though I would also have believed that someone had a whole text in one language and threw it through AI/Google Translate.
But hey, I enjoyed the photographs greatly. I love Japandi style and I loved seeing various houses/interiors. Pretty!

This book showed me that Japanese and Scandinavian philosophies and designs can complement each other. The photos are beautiful and inspiring.
