Breaking chains is a story that begins with an anecdote experienced by Nora, the protagonist, an 8-year-old girl who loves animals. The story continues when she goes to the circus for the first time. There, she sees with her own eyes that the circus is not the place she imagined, but a place where the animals are not happy and she will try to change it.It's a children's story with an animal rights theme. It's aimed at girls and boys between 7 and 12 years old (although I believe that anyone can enjoy the story at any age). It's a book that aims to promote the values of empathy and respect towards animals, stimulate children's curiosity about the world around them and, more specifically, about the animal world. In addition, it aims to raise awareness by revealing the reality of circuses that use animals.
