Sonu... Tek düşünebildiğim şey sonu.
Kitaba yakışan tek son buydu biliyorum ama yine de üzülmemek elde değil.

4.25 stars. If you try to look from their perspectives, they’re both right but I think that Asir should have stopped at the line where Onur was involved because Defne is clearly sick and didn’t control nor know what she did. This book was especially really deep and dark themed and I FELT that. These themes weren’t romanticised and they say that it’s wrong too, is one of my favourite things. Even the author said that this is not a romance book but a psychological thriller. + I know this is the most suitable and ethical way to end the book but it still made me sad and had me sobbing. I know that I wouldn’t like another ending and would’ve hated the book if it didn’t end the way like it did but yeah I’m a sensitive girl what can I say?? I liked this series but if I ever reread it again I will probably be reading the first book and maybe the first half of the second book because I don’t really like reading sad books because I want to escape reality, things I stress about, my fears etc. So being faced with these kind of things in books are not my favourite. I would just read the first for the vibes and the group because I really liked it when there were only the 7 killers involved. It felt strangely comforting considering she was going through soooo much. By the way, the theme of losing your sibling/your sibling being murdered is what I don’t like to read about because it makes me cry so much because I feel myself relating because I love my brother so much and I can’t even think about him not being alive and that has me sobbing everytime. I always relate and imagine myself as the fmc and her brother as mine so even thinking about it hurts me so much.

Asır’ın, son anlarında bile kendi zihnindeki sevilmeme yanılsamasına rağmen hayattan ve Defne’ye olan hastalıklı bağlılığından vazgeçmeyip tedaviye yanıt vermemesi, okuyucunun zihninde derin bir iz bırakıyor. Çatı katındaki o son hesaplaşma ve ardında bıraktığı hüzünlü enkaz, 17 Numara’yı sadece bir gerilim romanı olmaktan çıkarıp okuru uzun süre etkisinden kurtulamayacağı duygusal bir sorgulamayla baş başa bırakıyor.
