I have been enjoying these protectors, but Beethoven is top tier! 😍 Coming up in the life and preparing to take over for his father one day, has always been the goal. But when his father poses a mandate that he is not feeling, and starts to move funny, he begins to look at him differently. Beethoven’s father Tim, was a conniving, controlling fboy period! It was all about him and family, and if you crossed him, he would take you out. No questions asked. Beethoven knew his father wasn’t always on the up and up, but his father’s flaws came to him in a flurry, and he knew that he needed to get from under his father’s control pronto. But first he had to do his dad a solid, for the family.
Whiskee, the sweet, pampered princess, just suffered another tragic loss, and is devastated. 💔 How will she move on, and can recover from such a huge blow? Night terrors, and the fear of being alone at night, still plague her life, but with the help of her brother and best friend she will overcome. When Carlos asks Whiskee to accompany him to a dinner party, she is confused as she has never been involved in the business. But she goes along with it because he says he needs her, and he is all she has left. When the true intentions are revealed, Whiskee slapped fire from Carlos’ ass! How dare he put her in a situation like this and take away her option to choose! 😤🤬
Beethoven is also not pleased with the position that he is put in either but understands why it needs to happen. However, he is sad for Whiskee as she is totally blindsided by it all. He is intrigued by this beautiful woman that he is to marry and is instantly protective of her. Whiskee is fuming mad, but appreciates Beethoven’s calm, and his willingness to stand by her through it all.
These two were adorable. Although they were pushed together for the “greater good” there was an immediate spark between them, and they both knew this would be more that a marriage of convenience. They took the time to get to know one another, and feelings grew quickly. When Whiskee would say this marriage is fake, Beethoven quickly corrected her and stated, it is not fake, it is arranged and very real. Swooning….. 🥰
Then secrets are revealed, and the snakes are slithering, ready to attack. I was really surprised at the person who betrayed Beethoven. They kept all their cards close to the chest for real, for real. I knew Tim would not take Beethoven’s actions in stride and would lash out. But that? 🤬 Loving this series and looking forward to the next read. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

The Strongest Whiskee
This was a pretty good story but I felt the ending was a little anticlimactic and was wrapped up neatly and quickly. I would have liked a little more detail within the epilogue instead of things ending so quickly especially how the last chapter ended. I did, however, enjoy the connection and love between Beethoven and Whiskee. I knew he was going to fall for her from their initial meeting when he took offense for her with the way she found out about their pending union. You could feel the genuine love between these two. I did look at Carlos sideways in the beginning, but he seemed to have come around. I would rate this story 3.5/5 stars.

Book 4
This is book four in The Protector series by B. Love but it’s really book 3. (Book 3 appears to be an attempt at a very short omnibus, but it doesn’t introduce or give more insight into the MMCs of the series.)
As I stated in a review of a previous book in the series, The Protectors is an offshoot of The Misters series. With the earlier books I didn’t think you needed to have read The Misters series to understand these stories and MMCs but with this book, I am beginning to think you should.
This series is written from the men’s perspective and they are a group of friends. However, without reading The Misters series you don’t know the MMCs and how they are connected or became friends. Additionally, at the end of this book B. Love says the next character’s story is in The Misters series, which means these series should be read in an intertwining order.
I did enjoy this book. The romance was good, the characters interesting, the heat level was medium. I find it inconsistent that the author titled this book with the MFC’s name instead of the MMC’s name even though it is his story and he is one of The Protectors.

(3.5⭐️) This was probably the sweetest lil arranged marriage story lol. Neither person was really feeling it but they decided to make the best of it and boom a love story lol. Even though things moved quickly, the author made sure to mention how they fell in love so fast, showing them going on dates, having deep conversations and open communication. Which is something I appreciated because sometimes it’s lacking in shorter stories. Overall this was a nice sometimes emotional and a little dramatic read.

Bay had no qualms about making sure Whiskee was okay!!!…
He was beyond tender and attentive with her and made sure her safety was his top priority!!!…
I was a tab bit irritated w/ Carlos, but I understood what he was trying to do, but wish he put Whiskee in on his plan!!!…
Bay’s father was so blind to his own needs, he couldn’t care less who was hurt to achieve it!!!…Greed won out and it became his demise!!!..
I love Whiskee friendship with Mahogany and even adored her relationship with Beethoven’s mother!!!…

Beethoven was Bay for real. He screamed Boss. I loved how he stood up to his father and anyone else that had got in between him and Whiskee. Her brother Carlos was crazy as first and I wasn’t feeling him at all. However; when him and Beethoven became cool they became the dynamic duo. I was hoping Carlos and her best friend got together but that didn’t happen. Whiskee got her a great protector and I would love to hear more about them.

From the prologue had me laughing when she said " as soon as he dropped his briefs he smelled like bologna and she had to get out of there expeditiously " too funny. Whiskee has gone through so much then to have your brother somewhat sell you off all to keep a business is just another stab to the heart which was already broken. When Beethoven discovered what his dad wanted him to do for the sake of the family or be killed only proved what his mother had been saying his father is all about self and wanted power.; now with his cousin that was a shock but they both got exactly what they deserved and the empire fell so happy they were able to move on from all the trauma finding peace and.happiness.

Mister’s/Protectors series is off the chain
I’ll have to admit I didn’t really pay attention to Beethoven, but now I’m mad with myself because why is he like this. From the beginning that man was all about what was right not what that family wanted out of him. That allowed him to be the best Bay he wanted to be. He was everything for Bae, she had no time to feel sorry for herself or the fact that she was a very kept women because he did whatever needed to be done to make her feel safe and secure. He was truly a Protector of her being and heart.

Naturally growing a bond with true love !!
What started out as forced, turned into something real and true. Whiskee had been sheltered and kept her entire life, but was now being used to keep the family business together. Beethoven is all about running with his father’s business until he can run it one day. They both had been forced into this situation but caught an instant connection for one another. I respected how. Beethoven always tried to be honest with Whiskee, as well as the protectiveness he had over her. Tim was just a selfish and delusional person and he had the entire family brainwashed. Beethoven branching out on his own was great and how when his love became real, he included his wife. Carlos got his mind right too and is now family. Omari broke my heart with what he did and it hurt to read how that broke Bay. Whiskee was great and supportive. Being there for her husband and building there bond more was beautiful. Now I’m ready for Bully story! Great job

If you love arranged marriages, semi thug books then this is the story for you! I love Whiskee and Beethoven relationship, it wasn't ideal, but their ability to build a friendship and trust with one another came naturally. Family and friendships were major to the storyline. I love how Mahogany supported Whiskee! Beethoven had friends that he could trust far more than his own family, except for his mother. Beethoven and Whiskee definitely had some obstacles in their way, but in the end, they were able to get their happily ever after!

Outstanding Read
Tim was a lot to deal with on any day, parent or not. Beethoven handled him better than most. Tim and Carlos forcing Beethoven and Whiskee into an arrangement was crazy. Especially for Whiskee because she had been dealing with the loss of her father. What Tim and intended to be punishment turned into love. Beethoven cherished and adored Whiskee in all ways. He protected her from everything and everyone. This only made her love him. Their love was beautiful. This was an amazing read! Job well done, B!

Beautiful read
I'm not going to lie I was worried how all of this was going to play out with Whiskee and Beethoven. I loved how they got to know each other and grew to fall in love, which was so beautiful. His dad Tim was evil and I felt something was going to happen to him regardless because he was so cold-blooded. I would say his cousin Omari shocked me. Like the man that he is Beethoven stood up and protected Whiskee with everything in him. It was also nice that he and Carlos formed a bond. This was a really good read and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Love the arranged marriage scenario between Beethoven and Whiskee. Both of them were born into the life, Beethoven was about the life whereas Whiskee enjoyed the fruits of the life. Beethoven dad tried to make him a ruthless man but thankfully his mom was there to keep him compassionate and have empathy towards others. I loved how Beethoven talked life into Whiskee. I enjoyed this story but it deserved a better ending. The ending was rushed and wrapped up so quickly that it made me feel like I missed something even though I didn’t. Overall a 3.5 for me.

Oh my, my, my‼️DANG, that was intense 😬…but I enjoyed every moment 🫣🤭👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽‼️More so “The Strongest Whiskee 🥃 (The Protectors - Book 4)” was worth the wait and did not disappoint ‼️This book as well as the companion books of the series offered a myriad of thrillers, chills, kills & spills. …However, be mindful though you just might need protection from the protector…family, friend or foe🤷🏾♀️‼️

So good
Beethoven is definitely a protector and gentleman. I love that even tho Whiskee and his marriage was arranged by force, they actually took the time to get to know one another, and put in the effort. The person I thought was going to betray them didn’t and I was surprised by the person who did. This was good read with a little bit of spice. Also shout out to Beethoven for actually going extra mile and taking care of his mental health at the end.

his father dictates how he loved her even though he tried. Beetovan was his own man, and he proved that when he chose Whiskee and her brother over his dad and cousin. Betrayal is deep hurt, but love always wins.

When Your Choice Isn't Yours To Make!
B. Love, oh my lord, sometimes people take the fact that family should be first out of content. Beethoven, had the chance to right a wrong in the name of love. To see an arrangement turn into a wonderful form of trust, love and understanding, made my heart swell. Whiskey took everything she had and turned her frown upside but her growth was so good. She was loyal as well. Good read🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Sacrifices, betrayals and deaths are things that may happen in one lives, at least one of them. I'm glad Whiskee life change for the better for her, because of the tragedies and disappointments in her life, but for now I'm glad she's learning and experiencing her happy ever after. I'm glad Beethoven found his queen and forever in Whisker because she gave him what he needed and wanted to continue life together and he did the same. Loved It! Awesome Read! ReneeG

the Strongest Whiskee
I think this was my favorite of the protectors…Bay allowed himself to love and be loved and that was awesome to see! Whiskee had a lot to her he needed to unravel, but when he did, it was magic. Loved how they didn’t stress on a time frame. Their feelings grew fast and they didn’t try to stifle that growth! I need Mahoghany to find a man… Carlos maybe?!?!

Loved how they didn’t stress on a time frame. Their feelings grew fast and they didn’t try to stifle that growth! I need Mahoghany to find a man… Carlos maybe?!?!

Bay was the truth! I hate he had to make the hardest decision of his life but when you’re forced you do what you got to do. Whiskee showed more strength than I think she thought she had! She developed in the best way! I want to know more about Carlos & Mahogany! I’m ready for Karrington!

I enjoyed reading about Whiskee and Beethoven. Although their union was arranged, you wouldn't have believed it because the attraction between these two was undeniable. Whiskee was dealing with two major losses, but Beethoven, the protector he is, was by her side through it all.

Okay….
I’m absolutely loving this Protector Series. This well written book started out slow initially, but it flowed well and kept my attention. What started out as an arranged marriage between Whiskee and Beethoven ended with them actually falling in love with each other. I was quite disappointed with Omari in the end though.

OMG!!! This book will have you hooked from beginning to end. I loved Beethoven and Whiskee. I loved the bond between Asylum, Merc, Beethoven, Karrington, and Bully. I also loved the bond between Whiskee and Mahogany. Tim and Omari are wrong and can't be trusted. Will Beethoven and Whiskee be able to have a life together.
