This was too cringy I had to DNF at 28%. Getting it on with her at her interview on day one and everyone being in love with her was too eye rolling for me.

Felicia comes home to NY after she finds her boyfriend in bed with another woman. She gets a job working for her dad’s best friend Marc, that happens to be great looking man. The attraction is there but they must tread lightly because no one can know about the steamy romance that is going on. Things get heated when she finds out that she is pregnant and must figure out what is the next step.

Sweet hot and steamy is one way to describe Marc. This man sees what he wants and goes after it. When it comes to Felicia, he is consumed by her drive and everything else. He must decide on pursing the love he has with Felicia or damage his lifelong friendship with her dad. You have to read to find out what happens.

Felicia is crushed when she returns back home: she found her long-term boyfriend in bed with another woman. She gets a job working for her dad's best friend, Marc. They are immediately attracted to each other and the relationship between them escalates quickly. However, they must keep things casual while at work because he doesn't want anyone to know about them. Soon, Felicia finds herself expecting and it's going to be hard to keep the relationship a secret.

There were parts of this story that jumped around and could use some editing to be smoothed out. The bones of the story are good, but it's distracting when a chapter suddenly ends and then almost seems to pick up again a few chapters later.

This story has a lot of Inconsistent “times” of saying the day is Friday and then the next day is Monday
They met on Friday but then the next day she went to the office for an interview that wasn’t even an interview but them walking around and then having a quickie in an office.


And again they play poker (on Friday?) and she has to go to work the next day (being Monday?) but then it’s the weekend?

Maybe the smut “smutted” but overall the story was underwhelming

Also her being cut off by her dad when she left 5 years ago only to move home the day after her bf cheats as if she didn’t have a job or a life or friends?!?

When Felicia moves back home and gets a job with her dad's best friend Marc, her life gets turned upside down. While most of what happens is positive, there are setbacks that add an emotional pull as you read through till the end. The chemistry was hot, and they could not seem to keep their hands off each other so be prepared to read in the privacy of your own home. This was a fun story to read.

Great writing ! Super hot story by a great author. Felicity a marketing director gets cheated on and is helped out by her dad setting her up a job with his billionaire buddy Marc. It’s instant attraction overload when these two meet and it’s an exciting head of steam at the prospect of being caught in the most delight inappropriate way….what then pray tell will she do when her sugar daddy turns into her baby daddy …..Her daddy and her baby’s daddy were friends…. Great entertaining read.

Look out because this book is HOT 🔥. Amy writes the absolute best romance books and when she has a new release I am excited because I know it’s going to get STEAMY, ROMANTIC and very hard to STOP 🛑 reading. I think Amy adds just the perfect amount of SPICE to the scenes that makes you feel like you have heartburn. ❤️‍🔥 So what are you waiting for run and read this book NOW.

I feel awful for saying this, but I had to DNF this after 6%. The amount of times I caught myself going, “WTF just happened?!” within just those 6% was too high. The prologue and the first chapter was just not good. The dialogue was stilted and a bit cringy.

Who edited this?! *contains spoilers*

The author needs a new editor and fast. There were a few chapters that didn't actually finish. They jumped to the next chapter/ POV at the end of the page, only to be repeated as a new chapter, which made the story feel incomplete.

Also, there were a few storylines that weren't resolved. What happened with Kyle? He just disappeared after causing havoc for a substantial part of the book. There's the warning of him working for Harissa, but she only declines to do the commercial as a power play. Just to expose that, she slept with Marc 2 years ago to Felicia?

The prologue also never makes it into the story. We get the setup of Kyle catching Marc and Felicia at the party, and we find out later that he recorded them. But he never uses the proof that he's been threatening them with?

Jeppe never finding out on his own after Marc and Felicia have been messing around for months is ridiculous. Especially when its painfully obvious they've been sleeping together.

Using the phrase, "I'm going to explode," to indicate orgasm from both of them every time they had secks was not only unrealistic but cringe AF.

This book had potential. It just doesn't see it through.

This was not what I expected and kept me intrigued and going until I finished it within a few days. There were however spots that needed an editor to review again and spelling corrections. Not trying to be nit picky, just honest. Finishing a story in the chapter fully not jump around.

This book is so poorly written. Gramatical errors left & right. Chapter 9 & 10 are exactly the same, word for word. I could not finish.
