The birth of a utility company and a great sea monster hold focus in this volume. I like the subtle moments which transmit desires for safety equipment and workers rights. I like the rational arguments for self-preservation being at odds with a typical hero's personality. While it has some decidedly rough edges it is an engaging journey so far.
