I lived a no-risk lifestyle. That was until I met Rose Thorne. The woman who literally wants for nothing, has men and women hanging off of her every word, and whose kiss could melt an iceberg. Rose has been abundantly clear about where she stands when it comes to relationships, but I still can't help but hope that something about me will change her mind. You're always warned to never fall for the playboy, but not once was I warned against the playgirl. I've tried not to, but I've fallen. Hard. I never stood a chance. The woman is the full package. Intelligent, strong-willed, beautiful, caring, generous, fierce, and gentle. There's no way not to fall for her, but even with all that perfection there is still an issue. She's hiding something and I have this strong urge to know what it is. I should mind my business and drop it, but I just can't seem to help myself. I don't care what I have to do, but one way or another I will get her to tell me. Then I'll focus on getting her to fall for me. Wish me luck!

Do you like SUPER spicy books with an ending that will PISS YOU THE HELL OFF yet you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE? Then this is the book for you!
First off, I love this book. We get a closer look at Rose, Mel and all of the lovers, learning their backstories. The author does an amazing job of deepening their character and allowing us to care for them (except wynter, I still don't like her, sue me lol).
We also get to see the fallout from Mel's ordeal with King, and let me say this now...WOW. The author had me on a ride from "he'll never get away with it" to "omg he better not get away with it" to "This little jerk better get whats coming". All I'm going to say is that Rose is a badass.
The character development for both Rose and Mel was amazing. I loved learning more about Rose while seeing Mel blossom into her own brand of badass. I absolutely adored it. I know Rose is the MC but by the end of the book, at least in my mind, Mel was the MC.
This is book 2 in a trilogy, so don't be discouraged thinking the ending will throw you off. It's definitely a cliffie, but expected. what I didn't expect was to text the author YELLING AT HER for what she did. OMG I was so mad. It makese sense for Rose, but HOLY HELL HOW DARE YOU!! THIS BETTER BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY! I NEED BOOK 3 NOW NOW NOW!!!

Though, I'd say that honestly, the spice wasn't my favorite part. I really liked getting the chance to learn more about Rose and to see her relationship with Mel blossom. Of course, there's so much more to it than that. She interacts with the other fuckables, and there's a fun dark twist to things, too!
That ending, though! Be prepared to be frustrated in the best way. She'll definitely have you coming back for more!

An honest review...I knew this was going to be a wild one after reading the Dedication alone.😈😊 If you are looking for spicy with a bit of darkness, then look no further. The characters and the scenes in this book are off the charts.

Rose, Mel, and all the f***ables are BACK y'all! This was like watching all my besties come back together for another SPICY good time! I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment! And to have this as part of my Pride Month 🏳️🌈 TBR on top of that was just fantastic!!! 🤩😍
Rose was again giving us THE BEST femme bi switch energy, and I was here for every single morsel of it! We got quite a bit more of Rose's backstory in this one, which I had really been hoping for, so I was glad for more of that. Not to mention it brought several more characters into the mix of the story...and something makes me think that maybe things are not so unresolved with Rose's past...hmm...
Mel and Rose's relationship and heat gets kicked up to 1000 in this one. No more shy Mel, no way! We don't know her no more! Mel is all up under Rose's skin in the best ways and busts up all of Rose's rules. Rose knows it and the rest of the f*ck@bles can see it too eventually.
We also got a little bit more of My and Wyn as well as Eli in this one in terms of background and overall day-to-day life for them as individuals. Having this only in Rose and Mel's POVs is a little limiting for the others, but also takes up a lot of the screen time. So the other members of the crew didn't get quite as much exposure as book 1 but what we did get was solid, fun, meaningful, and HOT. I love that Eli and Xavier were able to help Mel with her "situation". Really just showed the beauty of what a solid poly relationship/family can achieve (even if Rose doesn't realize that's what they are yet! *wink*)
What I loved the most about this book was the way the crew came together in the end to celebrate Rose's birthday. They didn't all know each other in that capacity, but they're all connected to Rose. So Mel being able to bring everyone together like that and then them having such a good time, despite all of Rose's rules... I think the writing is on the wall and Rose just needs to finally read it!
Now, I will say, this book, as with book 1 is heavy on the spice compared to plot. The plot is there, but the focus is definitely more on the connections/relationships between the characters. So as long as you are aware of that going in, then you'll be prepared when you're not experiencing a TON of plot development. Personally, I enjoyed the ratio, but I love my spice, especially when a bi-FMC is at the helm, so there's that...LOL.
If you're looking for a solid non-fantasy, poly romance that features a bi-FMC with an active co-ed roster and a truly BIPOC cast of characters, this series is one to peep. I highly recommend!

I didn't think it was possible after how spicy book 1 was but book 2 was even spicier with current and past fuk@bles making an appearance. My favorite is Mel and Rose seems to be in agreement as she starts to realize that her feelings for Mel are more and growing the more time they spend time together. In fact, she has started to relax her own rules but not just when it comes to Mel but also with the others as well. In this book you really start to see Rose relaxing in some ways and not as rigid and I think that has to do with Mel. I don't remember exactly how it was described but Rose described herself hard and dark while Mel is the opposite and is soft and light which is what Rose needed. While I enjoyed all the spice with all the other partners, I loved the relationship with Mel. Especially, when you see Rose stepping up and really helping Mel with her situation and really being there for her and taking "alternative" measures to help keep her safe. But just because Rose is changing, growing and realizing she has some deeper feelings for Mel at least doesn't mean her bullheadedness and old ways don't pop up to make for some interesting confrontations and moments.

But in all seriousness an amazing second book by Kitty, personally I liked it even better than book 1. Kitty really delved into not only the spicy time but also the relationships Rose has with all her partners while still maintaining Rose’s personality and boundaries. I really enjoyed delving into Rose’s back story, and seeing these whispers of vulnerability behind the tough exterior. It was an excellent balance holding Rose’s core personality while edging her toward growth. Even the ending totally matched Rose’s struggles and journey. I really loved the book and can’t wait for book 3 to see how she handles the conflict that ended in book 2.

These books are so freaking spicy and I most definitely don’t see what came in this book! Rose is a total badass and she knows it ! Did I mention it’s spicy 🥵
If you love a why choose then look no further and for my fellow dark romance lovers, this even has a little darkness in the plot . Wasn’t expecting it and she didn’t disappoint!

OH MY GOSH🤯 This has got to be one of the most spiciest books I have ever read, love the spicy parts and let's be honest there are a lot of that in this book. I love the characters, they all sound so amazing and badass and loveable in their own unique way. The only thing I'm missing is to see more happening and not just spice, but all in all it was a very good book and I would recommend reading it. Authors writing is just absolutely awesome🥰

I heard this book was even spicer then the first and this one definitely was! I thought this was an amazing read! I loved the spicy parts and that it also had incredible writing as well! I definitely didn’t know what I was expecting when starting this book but it did not disappoint

If you haven’t read the first one, go do that first. Because this jumps right in. You are thrown right into the throes of passion and it doesn’t stop. You want a revenge plot, you got it, you want smut that describes the whole wet parts, you got it. You want FWB turn to more? Guess you’ll have to see :) enjoy the smut my fellow dirty people.

I'm always looking for erotica where the FMC isn't apologizing for her sexuality, badass in her own unique way and just gets right to the point. She wants what she wants and we want what we want and we should all be able to live by that.
So I like Rose and Mel and you'll find lots of spice in this series. It will be best to start at the beginning though. This is a great new twist (very kinky mind you) on a serial soap-opera type story and I think there'll be many options to build Rose's world.
It gets hotter as you go on. Enjoy.

Kitty!!!! Why do you do this to me?! This book was a five-alarm fire of spice from beginning to end. I am so invested in these characters she has built. The representation is on point when it comes to the LGBTQ community and I don’t think I will ever get enough of this story. My heart felt joy, my heart broke, healed again and then broke again! So good, definitely recommend to everyone!

I enjoyed the book, though not quite as much as the first one. This one felt more rushed in terms of the relationship. The spice was spicing. The characters were great and genuine, and we got to see more of the other characters outside of the spice in this book, which I really enjoyed. I'm excited to see what Book 3 brings for us.

Ok so I am still just what o did finally learn what was wrong with rose and I do remember some king stuff but the spice isn’t this one was like so good I almost forgot about what happened in the book as you hit those scenes and your blown right away

I wish I could give more than five stars. This book is amazing in so many ways. The emotions that you feel with each page are like no other. There are tears, cheers, fears, tension, passion, suspense and so much more. Mel and Rose are so hot together. The spice is so much hotter in book two, the author certainly delivered on her promise to up her game and reach for the best you can get and more. It brings you into a world of suspense, passion, conflict, and a lot of spice that only adds to the story line. I'm not normally a fan of books like this, but this book is too hot not to read. There are so many cliffhangers I am drooling about book 3. It is not for the faint of heart, it may be triggering for some, but for others it can be a true revelation.

If I though the first book was spicy, this one is spicier!! The banter, the dirty talk and of course the "scenes" just blew my mind! This book got me clutching my pearls, fanning myself, and smirking an obscene amount of times. There is character development, emotional development and answers to questions. The author gave us a window to our FMC mind, which I think is complicated and hilarious at the same time. The internal dialogue of the characters had me cracking up. What didn't have me cracking was the ending, I got a tsunami of emotions that almost had me "yeeting" my kindle at the wall. But all is good, I just need book 3 before anybody gets hurt!! LOL!!!

This is too spicy for the pepper! But never too spicy for a nice looong weekend in Bed. The FMC is PLAY GIRL who keeps edging you with the desire and lust that some can only wish for. All the characters have a certain flare and flavor that brings uniqueness and charisma to each scene. I like seeing how Mel unfolds in this book, and how Rose chip by chip develops. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Jesus. The spice! Rose had such strict command and masculine energy that even as a straight woman I found myself wanting to submit to her. And Eli! I feel I may be in love with him. The spice (I mean actual blazing fire) drew me in but the plot kept me there. With out ruining it... Mel got herself into a situation where only Rose and a few of her delicious friends can get her out of it. This is Book 2 and if book 3 doesn't come soon , I may actually die.

AHHHH!!! I’m loving this book!!! I WISH my job was to read!! I have no words!! I’m in love!! I tell everyone it’s smut with an amazing storyline. Haha. It’s incredibly written and I will recommend this entire series for as long as I live. And I’m not even finished reading it yet!! Only a few chapters to go!! RUN!! READ!! Fall in love with the characters as so many others have!! I promise you won’t regret it.

Rose and Mel-Wow!
This was so good, the spice was spicing in all right ways!
I love how Rose is so bull headed and Mel tries to really get through to her and even though she is stuck in her ways when it comes to relationships it was so fun to experience it!
