Crimson Club #6

Their Wicked Ways

Rate this book
A year ago, I lost everything and moved across the country to try and start over.

It wasn't easy, but I found a job I love, I have friends who've become my family, and I'm ready to start exploring my bisexuality.

Just when I think things are finally starting to go my way, I show up to work and find out the new guys on the crew are the super-hot couple I hooked up with last weekend.

F*ck. My. Life.

Now, I'm stuck spending my days with the men who not only popped my dude cherry but the ones I can't stop thinking about. The ones I have to try and be friends with after they awakened a part of me I didn't even know was there. The ones I can never have again.

Until one night turns into two, then more.

Being with Ezra and Wesley feels right, even if everything I was taught tells me it's wrong. I can't deny the pull between us, or how safe and seen they make me feel.

But how can two men who love each other as much as Ez and Wes ever feel the same for me?

Jett, Ezra, and Wesley's book is a coworkers-to-friends-to-lovers romance featuring a lonely man looking for his place in the world, and the adventurous couple who can't stay away from him. You can expect hurt/comfort, first times, found family, lots of heat, tons of dirty talk, some kink, and all the feels as this triad figures out that sometimes, love is best in threes. It is the sixth book in the exciting new Crimson Club series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. Please note that this is an MMM romance with no cheating.

What can I say about myself? It’s kind of like being the new kid in school and being asked to tell everyone a bit about yourself. Anyone else forget everything they’ve ever liked, thought of, and even their name in those moments?

A few facts about me; I’m a veteran, I’m Canadian, and I love books! I’ve been writing my own stories since I was eight and wrote my first novel at sixteen. I’m the first to admit those attempts weren’t my best work, but they started me on a journey of creating stories that has led me to fulfilling my dream of becoming an author. I’ve written and published in several genres under different names, but MM is by far my favorite, and I’m so happy to be able to share my stories with people today.

I currently live on Canada’s east coast with my kiddo and my cats. I have a shoe collecting addiction, and I enjoy taking long walks, discussions with friends, and reading anything and everything I can get my hands on.

I'm going out with some friends.
It's not a big deal.
Just a dinner.
Just a dinner with some guys from work.
Not a big deal, stop making it one.
Not a date.

And oops

This story in a nutshell.

Throuples are not the first pick for me when choosing a book because of the dynamic that is almost always in favour of two parties involved while one is idle, always parked somewhere on the side and waiting for the other two to get their rocks on.

I don't want real life, thank you, that's why I'm picking up a romantic book!

I wanted that MMM dynamic polished up to a t so it's really equal between everyone involved and so far I haven't read one single MMM book that would deliver such a thing.

That being said, this book was surprisingly better than most of the installments in this series. If I could recommend anything it would be Zane and Noah's book and if you don't want to read the whole series, just read this one book. It's a solid 2.75⭐ for me -- and it would've been a lot more, because the book had a strong, promising start with a delicious pantie-melting sex scene, the first half was kind of hanging in there, but the second half is where the story tanked.

🟡 MM+M
🔵 Gay/gay/bisexual
🟢 Established longterm couple/a divorced guy from a highly religious community
🟣 Age : 23/24/25
🟠 Hook-up/coworkers/lovers
🟢 A bit confusing, missed opportunity to really make a great story out of this
🌶️ Smut is good, in the second half you'll want more variety and better pacing, doesn't happen; good sexual chemistry but the top kind of left out; t/vers/vers (no DP)

Yeah that's kind of weird, right? Ezra, the top, the only guy who's fucking both Wes and Jett is largely left out of that crazy chemistry that Wes and Jett share.

Wes and Ezra are an almost decade long couple, highschool sweethearts that have lately decided to spice up their relationship a bit and occasionally play with a third. They never kiss nor penetrate the guy, just play around and then go home and have sex - until they meet Jett and that's where they break all their rules.

It turns out Jett is also their new coworker in Quinn's construction company so up until that point the pacing was good and I was invested.
Then they hooked up again and weeks passed before any of them even talked about their intentions or did anything to approach the other and even when Ezra and Wes were on board that they wanted Jett in their lives and they felt something for him, they never said anything to Jett. They never talked to him! They just let it be.

Weird. A weird progression. They've decided to ask him about joining them as a boyfriend yet weeks went by and they never said anything until they saw him at the club with some other guys groping him and that's when they finally spoke up.

The second half of the story wasn't good. Most of the time Ezra, Wes and Jett did therapy, that's what it felt like. They finally went home and had Jett alone but then they talked and talked and talked like it's psychology hour. So what should've evolved naturally between them, didn't. It just didn't.

Ezra was a really good character, but in the second half of the book he was not only absent during most of the bonding, but as much as he felt like the glue that'd stick them all together, that didn't materialise.
Before every sex scene he said

“This is what’s going to happen."

Who says that?? You talk about that prior to being already naked and almost balls deep in someone!
Then he goes on to describe what he'll do and what they'll do and how they'll all feel and no -- you think it's sexy but it really wasn't. They're all naked and hot and heavy and he stops the whole thing and goes

“This is what’s going to happen." 🥴 so many times!!

and when they're done, he always says

“How about you and Wes get some cuddles in while I get a cloth to clean us up?”

Everytime it's Wes and Jett, it's never Ezra, Wes and Jett and Ezra just extracts himself from both and is out of the picture until his dick is needed again.
I don't know, I honestly expected a different dynamic between him and Jett. I expected more intimacy, more falling in love. But it looked like Jett wanted and liked Wes more.

• One thing that irked me, really got on my nerves was "they exchanged a look" sentence. It was used so, so many times. 👎

I think the author had some help with setting this up but they couldn't pull through with it so the stilted dialogues started happening along with ridiculous sentences about money and growing up, millennials again and a love connection that had a big potential but ended up completely bland, just like any other throuple, nothing special.

Jesse, Wes and Ezra's best friend is getting his own series - well, his work crew is, and I'm guessing at least one of Jett's brothers will be involved in that, so I'm really, really, really hoping the author lets go of whatever this was in this series, because it didn't work. It was awful and every book had 300 pages of it!
Change the dialogues, forget the millennials, woke kids and therapy talk and just give us a raw love story.

«I didn’t understand it, but Jett felt like mine. Like ours.»

Like the previous installment Dad Next Door, the romance was okay but the dialogues felt very forced and stilted. The author keeps adding these interactions between the characters trying to make them seem relatable and trendy and ‘woke’, but all it achieves is maximum skimmability, because all the convos feel fake and unrealistic.
Plus all the cameos and side characters from previous books make it hard for me personally to follow along with who is who. Babe, my brain doesn’t have the memory capacity for so many fucking people.

“Come for us, sweetheart. Come for us and show us who you belong to.”

Back to the romance, the relationship was cute and fluffy, hot and sexy, but not really anything special. Pretty basic throuple romance.
Rounding up for the smut, ‘cause cockwarming… ‘Nuff said.

I should just come to terms with the fact that this author does not work for me anymore. Or, at the very least, this series.

«Jett was our missing piece. The part of us we never knew had always been missing.»

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.

Loved it! This is my new favorite book in the series. I’ve been excited to read this book, ever since I finished The Dad Next Door. Jett, Ezra and Wes just fit together to make the perfect triad, the chemistry with these three was amazing. This was a super spicy, super sweet book. I will be rereading this soon!

I should've just DNFed at 15%, I knew it was going to be all downhill from there 🫡🤷‍♀️😞

Sidenote: I really wish I'd love these books as much as everyone else does but no smut, no matter how hot, can make up for endless pages of skimmable content (e.g. four pages of non-sensical conversation and inner monologue about coffee preferences that lead nowhere or a random dude - who will get his own book I'm sure - stating how angry/disappointed/annoyed he is no less than four times in one scene since he was feeling left out because someone didn't tell him a secret) that could just as easily be edited out since it neither drives the plot nor does it add anything in terms of character development. I'm all for wholesome fun content with characters you want to learn more about but this ain't it for me sorry 🫠🫠

A very good MMM ~
I was waiting for Jett story and I was not disappointed.
I love their dynamic and how he just fit perfectly into this triad.
The evolution of their relationship was smooth and made a lot of sense as you go deeper into the story.
I wish we could have seen more of them, more of them discovering how this triad work.
Ez & Wes were just too cute and Jett deserves the world with how he was educated…

Smut was good and hot damn I loved how they met and how it was scene as they have met their soulmates. Im all for that kind of stuff ❤️
I loved as well the dom/sub vibes and all the aftercare~

It was really difficult to put that book down and to go to sleep. I’m a sucker for MMM and that book is 100% approved ❤️

The only minus for me was the overuse of the word Green during sex… was feeling off and shutting my vibes.

I love those boys ❤️

MMM is not typically my thing, but this was one of the best I’ve read. It handled communication (and lack of communication) fairly well. It would’ve made more sense if the author told us these guys were in therapy though cuz they were a bit too good with their words 😂

Another great read from a great series. What I love the most is the chosen family in these books. It's always nice to see familiar characters popping up again, they’re all amazing.

Jett's journey to accepting himself, despite his strict and religious upbringing, is a big part of the story. It's touching to see him being true to himself and finding love with not one but two special guys. However, there was too much sex for my liking in this book. I don’t mind it when it has a purpose but even when they were not having sex, they were talking about having sex. I needed more of a mix of emotions and non-physical closeness. But I still liked Wes, Ez and Jett’s relationship because each of them has their role and place in their triad, nobody’s left out. I truly believe that they all love each other strongly and equally.

It was overall a great read and I loved reading about Jett’s self-discovery. The HEA was very cute too.

Now, I’m curious to know more about Jesse!

“How the hell had I gone from dude virgin to getting fucked by two guys in one night? “Go big or go home, right?”

(ENG) We reach the end of this series and to end on a high note Willow brings us a polyamorous relationship that is incredibly hot. Those of us who have read her know that she writes her erotic scenes beautifully, but this time she has outdone herself.
Ezra and Wes, a couple since high school, meet Jett and invite him to spend a passionate night with them. The rules are clear: names only and no kissing. You can imagine the surprise when the three discover that they're going to work together, can't you? That's the beginning of a friendship and... we already know how it ends.
I always have a hard time when the threesome starts with a couple, but the author really manages a good development, prioritising the communication between all the parties and especially between Ezra and Wes.
Jett is a beautiful character, extremely lovable and with a difficult family past. Fortunately, he finds in the other two the confidence he needs to dare to be happy.
What did I like best? Ezra's little mouth. I'm telling you, you have to read their directions and descriptions 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Like any good closure, all the Crimson boys appear with their respective partners and they are gorgeous!!!!
Although this book can be read on its own, I recommend the whole series as it really is very good!!!!

Thanks Foreword PR and the author for the eARC

Jett leaves his life behind and thinks he’s lost everything after he leaves his ex wife and moves on near Seattle. Flash forward a bit and Jett decides it's finally time to explore his bisexuality, and he meets established couple, Wesley and Ezra. It’s one of the best nights of his life, and imagine his surprise when he shows up at work and discovers the new guys are the guys who he spent an insane night with. Ezra and Wesley don’t do repeats…. Until Jett comes along.

Sweet Jesus this was HOT. After Dad Next Door, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved Jett from the beginning and watching him get close to Ezra and Wesley. This book was such a good look into polyamory and a triad and I am obsessed with it!

'Jett was our missing piece. The part of us we never knew had always been missing.'

When newly-divorced Jett decides it's time to explore his bisexuality, he doesn't count on going home with a gorgeous gay couple, instead of a single hookup. One night of anonymous fun becomes a little bit more complicated though, when it turns out that Wes and Ezra are his new work colleagues, and they might just be tempted to break their rules for Jett.

First off, this book is FREAKING HOT. The spice starts immediately and just seems to ramp up with every new scene. I love the dynamic between the three men - how Jett is so naturally submissive, Ezra dominates, and Wes switches. It felt as though all of the characters were designed to meet each others needs, and fit together perfectly. The dirty talk, praise, and degradation was the cherry on top of this delicious sex sundae.

Whilst the character's sexual chemistry is off-the-charts, they also have a great connection outside of the bedroom. Ezra and Wes seem like such a strong and steadfast couple, and they were so supportive of Jett as he came to terms with his religious trauma. There's some great banter between the three, as well as sweet and tender moments, and lots of emotional check-ins that made my heart happy.

The one thing I wasn't completely comfortable with is the imbalance in the relationship for most of the story. It very much feels like it's Wes x Ezra, and Jett is an outsider that they're bringing in on their terms. It felt as though they kept him at arms length sometimes, and didn't fully include him in decisions about their relationship. Whilst this is resolved much later on in the book, I would have liked to see more of them as a proper throuple before the book ended.

I read this book as a standalone and didn't have any problems following it, although I was a little lost with all the side characters! I am looking forward to going back and reading the series from the beginning now.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I devoured it in one sitting. If you want a steamy MMM romance, with found-family vibes and wholesome, yet filthy, characters, then you'll love Their Wicked Ways.

This was a very very good MMM romance.
I like this kind of stories but I'm picky about them, I need to feel that all the men have the same importance in the triad: I don't like when one of them is more of a plaything than a partner, especially when the third comes into the dynamic when the others have been together for years. That didn't happen here.

Ezra, Wes and Jett fit perfectly well: their chemistry is undeniable and I loved so much the constant remind of consent. Despite Ezra and Wes have been in love for 8 years and have their own strong relationship, they never treated Jett like a mean to get off, they always had his weelbeing as a priority.
The sex scene are insanely hot and steamy, but, again, there wasn't only a physical connection between them, there was so much more from the start.

The journey to become a throuple is not easy, Jett has got some deep issues due to his past and he needs to work to overcome them. But he's so spontaneous, kind, sensitive, a little bratty too, he unconsciously charmed the two men.
It was hard to read about all the things he had to endure from his family and about his loneliness.

I didn't like how Ezra and Wes handled things after admitting to themselves their feelings towards Jett: because of their behaviour he felt even lonelier.
Thankfully they're able to communicate and let all their worries go away.

What prevented me from giving 5 full starts:
I would have loved to see more of them as a triad.

The other guys are all present here and their scenes are always a blast.

I think I can include this book between my most favourite MMM stories ever. I really really hope to see more of them in the future book (will it be about Jesse? Fingers crossed).
Very recommended.

A Steamy AF MMM romance with lots of kinky fun, an unforgettable one night stand, "it's a small world" surprises, & mix of Coworkers to Lovers + Friends to Lovers dynamics!
Jett, Wes, Ezra are sweet. Loved them. I devoured my #ARC in around 7hrs! I adore the friends too.

My first book of this series was Noah & Zane because I love me some enemies to lovers, now this 3some cause I can't resist lol! Dang that I missed River's book being released 🙈.

“I only had one life. It was time I started living it for myself.”

Jett has been through a lot. So TW for religious trauma & cheating ex's. Jett is newly divorced, sweetly innocent, submissive but sassy & defiant! Ezra is the tattooed bad boy, brooding, commanding, caretaker. Wes is the golden boy with a kind heart who overthinks & feels so much. I loved their individual personalities.

From dude virgin to double teaming, Jett definitely goes big 😆. But then finding the couple you hooked up with is your new coworkers? OMFG!

This is the story of first times, confusion, new feelings & eventually coming out. It's low-ish moderate on angst, HIGH & HOT on steam & kink! Public play, Praise & more 🥵. I loved to see the dynamic develop b/w the 3. I'm also glad we get backstories of all 3. Ch 16 is so emotional & perfect. I loved it!

The focus is on moving plot forward, so we get many time skips. I wanted more of the softness & pining. I JUST WANT MORE of "daily life as a 3some". Otherwise, this is a story that kept me entertained! RTC.

Have you ever gone into work and ran into someone you didn't expect to? Was it awkward?

Willow Dixon’s sixth book in the Crimson Club series follows Jett, who works part-time at the Crimson Club as a bartender. His day job is construction and carpentry, which he learned from his former father in-law. Jett can only work so many hours, though, and he wants to try and get out and try to start living his life. So he goes out to a club, maybe looking to get a little action. He certainly finds it (in a series of scenes that are scorchingly hot). It just becomes a bit awkward when Monday rolls around and the same couple Jett unexpectedly and impulsively hooked up with over the weekend just happen to be his new coworkers (because this is romance and of course they are).

Willow Dixon’s cast of characters are just so endearing. They feel genuine without feeling cloying or cheesy. Their expectations of one another are realistic, their dialogue has a nice rhythm to it that doesn’t feel too practiced or overwrought, and there aren’t any speaking pieces that feel like a speech or soliloquy, which was a nice break from some books I’ve read recently. I loved the array of sexual preferences that could be found from other characters and how the main characters had tastes that were still developing and evolving.

The relationship between the core three characters in this book was sweet, and the growing pains all three went through were realistic when you consider all the angles. The spice was so, so hot. Some of my hottest hot buttons (exhibition, voyeurism, dirty talk) are included in almost every spice scene and I’m never going to complain about that. It was a fantastic book, and I highly recommend it for any MMM fan.

I was provided a copy of this title by the author. All thoughts, opinions, views, and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone. Thank you.

I honestly loved this, and it's my favorite book in this series! I loved getting to know more about Jett. He seemed like much more of a background character than a side character like a lot of the Crimson Club fam has been throughout the series. So, it was nice seeing him have his own book. Wes and Ez are such great characters and great additions to this little found family we have going on. All three MCs are very complex and layered characters. With every speed bump, they communicate like champs. It's not always perfect, but they deal with things like adults. Jett has the most going on since this is all so new and foreign to anything he has dealt with before. He is acting on his bisexuality for the first time in his life, as well as dealing with adulthood problems that his crazy conservative upbringing did not prepare him for. Wes and Ez are so supportive of him and patient as he works to navigate this new world he lives in. Also, this is for sure the spiciest book in the series. Like, the spice scenes hit pretty hard in this one. My only wish is that we had a few extra chapters seeing them as an actual throuple. We see them finally commit to each other, and then a chapter or two later we get the epilogue (which I loved, by the way). There was just a bit of an imbalance throughout the whole book with Wes and Ez as an established couple and Jett on the outside for most of the book until they finally made that commitment. All in all, I really loved this book so much. I loved coming back to this crazy found family and seeing how happy they have all been. I definitely recommend checking this out, especially if you have read the rest of this series previously. It's a fun time.

Jett finds out his cheating ex-wife is now pregnant so he decides to explore his bi feelings. Wes and Ezra are a committed couple who like to play occasionally with a third. Jett becomes more than an occasional partner. With Jett's religious upbringing and Wes and Ezra being together eight years, the poly arrangement takes getting used to. Full of steamy moments and mental adjustments, the three guys make a relationship possible.i received a copy of this book through Gay Romance Reviews and this is my voluntary opinion.

~ARC review~

MMM books aren't usually something I read or enjoy, but for some reason I really wanted to read this one. Usually I just skip MMM ARC offers. I'm so glad I read this one!

Jett has moved away from his hometown to escape his painful past. He gets a letter that opens up old wounds, and decides to go to a gay club for the first time ever to distract himself.
Ez and Wes have been together for years and sometimes pick up thirds to play in the bed. They have rules in place on how it all works. And when they see Jett, they know they'd found their third for the night.
One night, that was supposed to be it. Imagine all of their surprise when on Monday the realise they have to work together.
And then they fall into a bed together again, where all rules are broken. And the aftermath is scary for everyone.

The normal issues I have with MMM stories didn't bother me at all in this. When there is an established couple and then someone is added, it feels like that third is an outsider OR one of the two in the relationship gets hurt when the other falls in love. In this growing feelings were new to everyone and even though Jett was an outsider, and maybe they should've all talked earlier about feelings, this was new to everyone involved and they realise how Jett might feel.

Spice was insanely hot from start to finish! And I loved how they all were with each other outside of the bedroom as well. Jett has issues from his past he needs to unlearn, Wes was really understanding since he had similar things happened to him, Ez really wanted to protect both of his men.

This was, surprisingly, one of the best books from the series!

I keep reading this series and keep not exactly finding what I was looking for. I first read Best Served Cold(Noah&Zane), then turned back and read all of the series. But I still think Noah&Zane was the best couple and has the best story in the series and only because I loved their book so much, I kept reading the series hoping the others would be similar, but nope.

Again in this book, it wasnt that it was bad. It was just quite mediocre. I actually really liked Jett, and I wish he had a better storyline. I just couldnt connet with Ezra or Wes. They were just this hot, kinky couple I felt zero emotional bond to. That's it. Maybe since they are already a couple, and they did not really have a storyline here except adding a third to their relationship. But even then, they just talk about it, and were always on the same page. So they had zero events that let them show their personalities.

Kind of thought Jett deserves better. I had the same thing when I read River's book. I really loved him and he just got a mediocre ending.

Also, the repettive "this is what's going to happen:" talks.... Ezra says this exact sentence before every single sexual encounter. The first time was kind of hot, but by the end when he said it, I just crigned. Its there maybe 6-7 times. And the word "cheeky". Again, and again and again. After every bratty behavior. And 70%of the book is them just talking about their past. One comment said, it's like a therapy session and I wholeheartedly agree. I mean, we need a storyline in a book. Here we just read about the past stuff they already mostly processed. And who cares, honestly. Who cares about the life of the ex-wife of a book character, who has zero impact on the already non existent story?? But we are forced to read it for pages. If I keep ranting I'll drop another star by pumping myself up😅

Honestly majority of the 3⭐️ rating is coming from the club/hotel scene at the begining. That one was quite hot🥵

✎ 𝒯𝒽ℯ𝒾𝓇 𝒲𝒾𝒸𝓀ℯ𝒹 𝒲𝒶𝓎𝓈 is the sixth book in the 𝒞𝓇𝒾𝓂𝓈ℴ𝓃 𝒞𝓁𝓊𝒷 series and oh my gosh,Willow did not come to play. The book had just the right amount of spice, emotion, funny and swoon and found family(my weakness🥰).

✎ Wes and Ezra are one of the best people you will ever meet, they are kind, patient, understanding and passionate. They love each other and have been together for years, but they also love to explore and find out new ways to spice up their relationship and picking up a third to play with, was one of those things to explore. But the have rules and regulations they fellow to make sure things don’t get out of hand and those rules were working for them till they met Jett, the shy nervous hot guy with a religious trauma.Let’s just say all their rules went to sh*t.🤣

✎ Jett has been through alot, from being oppressed by his parents and community to being betrayed and cheated on by his wife and bestfriend to being shunned by his parents and friends. The Religious oppression and judgement he had to put up with was draining and very toxic.I’m very happy he got out of the negative ideologies and thoughts and unlearned all that crap that was forced down on him and reworked the he looked at the world.

✎ I’m so happy he found Ezra and Wes,two amazing and kind men,who treated him like the precious and sweet person he is.The three of them deserve the world. The communication in this book was immaculate, every step of the way, they discussed and came to an agreement. The consent in this book is just chef’s kiss.

I just liked the entire series because they were all found family and had become familiar and all stayed in pretty much the same character except I felt like River changed into Emery from Cora Rose's series. But anyhooo. I'm a sucker for mmm reps with good communication and no jealousy. This one was a bit like preschool teachers dating each other..... but they were adorable and I liked the idea of the love they had. It was fluffy and fun, which is what I needed...so 4.0 it is.

It was good enough I guess but I fear all MM+ books are the same these days. Little substance or intimacy outside how compatible they’re in the bedroom.
Normally I don’t mind but this just made me want to roll my eyes.

4.5⭐️

After almost eight years together, I knew him better than he knew himself. Wes was my other half, my soulmate, and my best friend. We were rock solid, and playing with others was a way for us to explore our kinks and have some fun.

I LOVE ALL THE MEN IN THIS SERIES. They're perfect and awesome and so cute and great people, dads, lovers and friends. With each book I read, my need to be their friend is harder to ignore. I want them to be my found family too 😭😭😭

“Things have been different because Wes and I have been trying to figure out how you fit with us.”

Can we talk about the HOTNESS IN THIS BOOK. All my notes are variations of "so hot" "this is hot" "hot hot hot" "oh my hot" Because my god. Ez, Wes and Jett were fire together. Everything they do to each other made me squirm and melt at the same time.

“I couldn’t explain it, but what I felt for Jett was similar to what I’d felt for Wes when we first met. I’d been drawn to him in a way I’d never experienced and hadn’t understood. I instinctively knew Wes was special, and I wanted him in my life in whatever capacity he’d have me. Friend, more, whatever. That was what I felt for Jett.”

And the way Wes and Ez are at the start of the book is everything. They love each other so much you can actually feel it, even though they're playing with another person, they always look at each other.

Something about seeing him in one of my old hoodies and a pair of Wes’s sweats made my stomach flip-flop.

Their relationship is the best of the book (and the sex, always the sex) because they're mature men, they communicate, they talk about everything, they have rules to assure themselves what they're doing is making everyone happy, they want to explore their sexuality together and they don't limit themselves or the other with that. They're perfect individuals and they created a perfect couple.

“I’ve loved him since I was sixteen. He’s mine, and I’m his. Being with thirds doesn’t change that because it’s something we do together. Some people watch porn or wear sexy lingerie or whatever their particular thing is. Ours is playing with strangers and living out the fantasies we can’t indulge in when it’s just the two of us.”

And I think that was my problem with this book. Even though I enjoyed a lot (and I mean a lot) the triad dynamic, Wes and Ez were so perfect as a duo that I had a hard time adding Jett to the relationship. I know they like him a lot since the beginning, I saw it, and the growing feelings were natural and well developed, but in my mind they didn't need that. They were too perfect!

“You don’t owe anyone the truth about your sexuality.”

Normally, when I read a MMM book, I feel that neither of them is complete without the other two. But in this one, I only fell a bonus in the sexual aspect. Maybe because they were already a couple? But if I sensed they needed something more even though they were already together, it would have been fine to find another.

“I overheard Quinn joking about how he should have named his company Rainbow Construction because we’re the queerest crew ever.”

But for the rest, the book was everything I wanted. Being the sixth book, I love the characters already a lot, and it's always a good fun when I'm with them. Totally want to continue in this world.

“One of these days, I’m going to make you sit on my cock for hours,” Ez said, his eyes locked on Jett’s. “You won’t be allowed to move or touch yourself. Not unless I decide you can. Do you like the sound of that? Being my cock warmer and my good boy?”

Also, I've loved that neither Jett or Wes forgive or talk again to their families again. What they did, cut them off for his infertility or his orientation, was unforgivable.

After everything I’d learned about the real world and how fucked up my community was, I’d rather be a sinner than a saint.

And finally, FINALLY, an Evan physical intervention! I love him, and I love Nick and always want more of them.

I picked up Their Wicked Ways with zero expectations, just a craving for some good ol’ angst, spice, and tension—and in that department, Willow Dixon did not disappoint. The book throws us into a triad dynamic between Jett, Ezra, and Wes, and let me just say—the chemistry? Immediate. The pull between the three was so addictive, it honestly carried the whole thing for me. I loved their dynamic. Each brought something different to the table, and together they just clicked. But even with all that chemistry, something felt a little off…

The pacing. That’s where it faltered a bit. It felt like everything moved way too fast for the kind of emotional complexity this story could’ve had. These three characters had so much potential, especially Jett with his baggage and vulnerability, and Ezra and Wes already being a couple trying to make space for someone new. But instead of letting things simmer, the story kind of rushed through key moments that could’ve hit way harder. Like—let me feel the tension, the insecurity, the growth. It brushed past some of that too quick for my taste.

Now, let’s talk about the smut. Oh, I loved the smut scenes. That’s one thing this book absolutely delivered. They were hot, emotionally charged, and well-paced within those scenes. But I won’t lie—it was a lot of smut in comparison to actual plot. Not that I’m complaining (okay, maybe just a little), but there were moments where I just wanted more plot or more conflict or even a stronger storyline to balance things out. It felt like the smut became the main character sometimes.

Character-wise, they were well-done. Jett’s need to belong hit me in the gut. He wasn’t just some third wheel—they all genuinely cared for each other, and I appreciated that. Wes was probably the softest, most emotionally grounded of the three, and Ezra had this intensity that made the dynamic feel grounded but also a little chaotic. I liked how Dixon gave each of them a voice and didn’t make anyone fade into the background. I just wish the development had a bit more space to breathe.

As for the Crimson Club ending—surprisingly satisfying. It wrapped things up neatly without being too cheesy, and I liked how the series ended on a strong, hopeful note. It didn’t feel abrupt, just right. Overall, this book gave me what I came for: heat, tension, a sweet triad connection, and a good dose of emotions. But it could’ve been a great story if the emotional depth and pacing had matched the heat. Still, definitely worth the read.

Would I reread the spicy bits? Absolutely.
Would I recommend it? If you’re here for vibes and chemistry over intricate plot—yes.

Jett is the new Crimson Club bartender and newest member of Quinn’s construction crew. He’s recently divorced and escaped his ultra religious family/town to live with his lesbian aunts and start over at 23. He’s been unlearning so much of his upbringing and is finally ready to act on his bisexuality. When he heads to Envy, he’s looking his first ever gay hookup - maybe a handie, who knows? What he finds is the hottest couple he’s ever seen who wants to play with him. Jett is immediately captivated by Wes and Ez, leaning in to everything they’re offering, somehow ending up back at their hotel for a night of losing his dude virginity in the hottest way possible. They sweet and considerate but also so so filthy and Jett is forever changed. It was a one time only thing though.

Until Wes and Ez show up to the job site as Quinn’s more recent hires to the crew. Cue Jett’s panic attack.

The thing is Wes and Ez are solid. They’re soulmates, high school sweethearts, and nothing could tear them apart. But they also love playing with thirds. So they have strict rules for themselves and unbreakable trust. Yet they both can’t get their minds off that one night with their unicorn. So when the possibility presents itself, they break all their rules for Jett.

This is 90% smut, 10% domesticity and 0% plot but I absolutely loved it! The dynamic between Wes and Ez is so well thought out and communicated. The explicit on page consent and talk of boundaries is HOT. And the way they care for each other is so deep and special, it was almost hard to see how Jett would fit. Until we got into Wes and Ez’s POVs to see how they see Jett, how he fits their sexual needs/wants/fantasies but also how they adore him as a person. They see him for all his trauma and inexperience and are protective and caring and careful. It’s so easy to see how Jett slots in with them perfectly. If anything, I wish we could’ve had more after they all committed so we could see the triad really develop and see how Jett fits. I could’ve easily read another 200 pages of them, I love it!

As always, it was so fun to see the rest of the Crimson Club crew!! While I will miss them, a few of this series I’ll definitely be revisiting.

I love Willow Dixon books, and I can't get enough of the 'Crimson Club' series. The characters are so loveable and have an honest vulnerability to them.
Book 6 in this series is 'Their Wicked Ways' and honestly, this may be my favourite yet, or at least on parr with 'Best Served Cold'.

Jett works at Crimson by night as a bar tender, by day he works construction. All well and good until he's faced with his double hookups on a Monday morning. To make matters worse, the two men that gave him a night to remember are his new work mates.

Ezra and Wes are a long term established couple who invited Jett to join them for one night. Things all get a bit awkward to say the least, and all three men must now navigate the situation.

The dynamic between the main MCs is written so beautifully, there is genuine emotion and honesty to them. All three have issues, (from family mistreatment, to feelings of isolation.) but they find a way, eventually, to make things work.

Some of Jett's story was heavy to read, he's endured a lot. I wanted to wrap him up in a big hug. There is a lot of sweetness though, some heartwarming moments. The cameos from the Crimson boys was always going to make me ridiculously happy, and they brought the light comedy fun wth them.

And yes, I have to mention the spice, it's impossible not to. It is HOT! The chemistry is off the charts and theres a lot of kink discovery going on. These guys are sexy as hell and I am here for it.

On the whole this book is fantastic. You get the feels, the flirty fun and all the great aspects you expect from Dixon. I don't want this series to end.
