So Bleak is one of the best books in the series so far. Although the plot is somewhat common as I read a book before involving food critics/influencers dying by poison, the story is well-written, it gives perspective to Faith's actions and relationships, it's fast-paced and really entertaining!

The trial for West has started and Faith is getting lots of bad press from it. She, Michael and Turk get involved in a new case where food critics are being poisoned. They need to find this killer before anyone else dies. Really great book!

This continues to be a good series, expected that once West captured the series would loose some if it's complexity but not so. The characters continue to develop and new characters add to the plot that has plenty of twists and turns to keep your interest.
