This book continues and kind of deepens the story of book 1. The timeline jumps from the past to current times and does that pretty well. You get to know more about the background of the two MMC's and I liked that. I would have liked to read more about why the guys fell for the FMC though. If you want an instalove book with plenty of spice: This one is definitely for you. Did I mention there's chasing in this book? I know some of you like that 🙃
This book ends on a cliffhanger.

Absolute perfection if you ask me😉 I was lucky enough to read this for Bridget before release and it’s amazing! I fell in love with this world in book 1 and just keep falling more and more in love as the story goes on. Dabria and her men are just 🥵 In this book you find out more about Dabria and her mens past and it’s just AMAZING, i don’t have many words for it because it’s book 2 and I can’t spoil anything 😏 If you’re a fan of why choose, dark romance, touch her and die, and reverse age gap I highly recommend checking this series out!❤️

I loved the backstory in this book. It gave so much detail as to why these boys are the way they are and it was incredibly heartbreaking to read all the things they went through, especially Tango. My heart wanted to break for him.

MUST READ DOUBLE REVERSE FIRST
Double Masked is a continuation of Double Reverse and builds on the storyline. Dabria is back and missing her men... well guess who else is back?
I flew through this in a couple hours, Dabria and her men had me not wanting to put this novella down!! Spicy and oh so good!! In Double Masked we learn about Dabria's passed with her rotten husband Barrett. And you'll learn how these hunky heroes became who they are today, I'm trying so hard not to give any spoilers!! 😱😱
Best advice I can give is make sure when you pick this up you carve out enough time to read it all in 1 sitting!! Bridget I need more of these men please... ❤️❤️

I didn’t know how I could love book 2 more than book 1, but I do. Bridget elevated the story and the characters so much in this one. I absolutely love and am team tango and alpha now and wouldn’t mind being the FMC in that trio that’s all I’m saying. I couldn’t put this down and pretty much read it in one, maybe two sittings. I ate. It. Up. That cliffy at the end though…..I’m so anxious to see what book 3 will bring for our characters.

Double Masked was an amazing read. I give it 4.5 🌟 The love between Dabri, Alpha, and Tango was heartwarming! It's one of the spiciest books I've ever read it made me want to keep reading! I couldn't believe the cliffhanger and can't wait for the next book! Thank you Bridget for giving me the honor of reading this as an ARC! 💞📚

I really enjoyed getting to know more about the characters and getting some background. I really love the FMC...feisty with no regrets.....sort of. I cannot wait what comes next, I need more Echo. Let's all hail Hale for giving some sister husband vibes, I love it and I'm here for it....go read it.

Dabria goes to New Orleans , and after six months she sees the men she thought she dreamed up. Alpha and Tango will answer her questions, but they brighten up more questions. The attraction and chemistry between the three of them is intense. Can Dabria find out what’s going on and will the men disappear? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. I love Dabria, Alpha, and Tango and their dynamic. This book has alot of twists and turns, intrigue, sarcasm, and the spice is so good. I love this book and series I can’t wait to see what coming next.

Absolutely amazing!
I was so EXCITED when I found out the Double World was going to be more than 1 book!
The story is well written, and the characters are just as dark and stealthy as always! 😍
I love that you get more of the back story for each character, so you get to really know them!
Each one has their very distinct personality, which makes it so hard to choose just one!
This is a why choose full of all the spice you could ever want.
Like seriously...it'll have you clenching your thighs!
I am really looking forward to seeing how each character grows! Ahem hint hint...I need moreee!

Double Masked is why choose romance with dark themes and is book two of the Doubleverse series. I recommend starting with book one, Double Reverse. Tropes include: morally gray men, touch her and d!e vibes, primal play, good girl, dirty talk, DP, curvy FMC, pierced MMC, and two cinnamon roll MMCs. Triggers include: domestic abu$e (not by FMC or MMC) and death of a parent. When I read, I am interested in the point of view (POV), the plot, and the spice. I prefer dual POV, I don’t want a predictable or bland plot, and I like my books spicy!
This story is told in first-person, multiple POV, by the FMC (Dabria) and MMCs (Alpha, Tango). Dabria is a sassy and resourceful FMC; both are qualities I appreciate. At no point is she whiny and she gives as good as she gets (wink, wink)! The MMCs are. . . everything. Protective, caring, strong, tattooed, and smoking hot. What’s not to love?
I am going to elaborate just a tad on the blurb that you may have read. Please know that there may be spoilers, so if you haven’t read book one, skip this paragraph! When Dabria decided to get some R&R in New Orleans the last thing she thought she would discover are two of the men she has been missing for months. When Alpha and Tango approach Dabria she is both elated and. . .upset. Let’s just say the three have a lot of things to work out. This story focuses on the three getting to know each other’s pasts and – ahem – other extracurriculars a bit better. I didn’t find the plot predictable, and it was a nice balance of plot and spice!
I’m giving this a 5/5 on the spice scale because, as mentioned, it is well-balanced with the plot and very well-written. I didn’t have any icky word moments and the spice was definitely spicin’!!

Lord! What is not to love about this book? Bridget Hale has done it again! She does NOT disappoint.
Let's get into this read! Dabria (FMC) is back in New Orleans for some relaxation, and she has been thinking about her passion filled night with 5 of the hottest men that are protecting her from an enemy she was not aware that was hunting her. She was sassy, but a little meek in Double Reverse however, In Double Masked she is more....everything. More sassy, confident, independent!!!
This will leave on a cliffhanger and what a cliffhanger it leaves on....I now need the third book asap!

I have read Double Reverse and Double Masked and I am so consumed and involved in the story of this lady and these men. (Double Reverse)Dabria has been in this very abusive marriage for years to where her Husband has demolished all her self esteem. She finally gets out of this marriage, goes on a trip, and meets five incredible men in a cemetery of all places. These five men absolutely worships her and makes her feel incredible and amazing.
(Double Masked) Dabria thinks that she’ll never see them again and BAM! There’s two of the five men Tango and Alpha. When Dabria is with Tango and Alpha she is alive and you can see her self-esteem coming back. Dabria is fearless. She realizes she’s in control of her life now not a man. There’s so much more in this book so if you want to find out the rest, you’re just gonna have to read it. As for the author Bridget Hale she has has done such an amazing job on describing the places, the food ,how the house looks to the point that I can visualize how something tastes, how it looks, even how it feels and to me for a author to be able to do that takes talent, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the story.

I’m in Love with this book
I started my journey with Double Reverse which was a hot little novella that just drew me in and made me want more. I need more background story on Dabria and all the guys. In Double Masked Bridget started to deliver just that. I felt like this book was literally a big curtain that was being drawn back as I read. Revealing more and more of each character Alpha and Tango and Dabria. Plus including all the drama with her ex husband Barrett. I love watching their relationship develop because I am a sucker for a good why choose relationship where the men love each other too. Everything was going so well and so sweet but then that ending. Dabria is strong as hell and I know she is a fighter. I need more of everyone’s story and I need the curtain opened the rest of the show it all to me. Can’t wait to read anything else Bridget comes out with me. I’m a huge fan of all things dark romance and this definitely made me happy I loved all the spice. Quick read but loved every minute of it and patiently waiting for more.

We wanted more and Bridget DELIVERED. I don't even have words. I have read this one multiple times now because Tango was my favorite broody love interest from Double Reverse and I couldn't get enough of him. But here comes Bridget making me fall in love with Alpha too! No wonder Dabria couldn't choose because I wouldn't be able to either. The spice is spicing in this one. Lort! That shower scene! But besides all of that greatness, Bridget introduced us to why the men of this book are the way they are. When I tell you this book made me laugh, cry, and rage, I mean it. Bridget took us on a whirlwind of emotions and plopped us down right at the precipice of where I hope to god book three starts because that cliffy has me feral for more! Watching this author grow into the powerhouse she is has been amazing and I'm so glad I'm here to see it all.

Ok where do I even start. This is the second book in the series. Dabria decides to take a vacation to get away from everything. Well she heads to New Orleans for some me time. While out and about she gets a whiff of tangoes cologne. She is Uber pissed because the last time she saw him was six months prior and in the meantime, she’s been divorced from her evil husband. So with meeting the guys again, which is just tango in Alpha, you know they get their deeds on it’s hot and heavy but yet the guys are worried about her ex-husband Barrett because they cannot find him.
With that being said, I did not like this cliffhanger I need more you must read both of these books I’m telling you they are the best

You have enraptured our minds and captured our hearts with Our Little Death Angel and her men.
Dabria is in New Orleans and enjoying the sights before she realizes her men have returned.
Alpha and Tango have come to surprise their perfect angel and wrap her up in their protectiveness.
The story line, the wording, the descriptions, the way you can smell and sense what her characters are... Is *chefs 💋*. I am so excited to see where this story goes.
You can see the growth and the way this author has outdone herself with her words. I am excited to see where this 5 meat pizza goes in the next installment of the Double world!

This is a short book but I took my sweet time savoring this read because it is truly THAT GOOD!!!! In true Bridget Hale style it’s a VERY spicy read! This book has three pov’s and time jumps a few times between past and present! All five men that we love do make an appearance but this book focuses on Tango,Alpha, and Dabria! I just thought Dabria was sassy in the first book but she doesn’t hold a candle to Dabria in Double Masked! This book has all the layers you want! It plays on your heart strings, brings the heat, and has true laugh out loud moments! It does end on a cliffhanger which has me spiraling at the moment and needing book three in the series like yesterday! I can NOT wait to continue this series!

Oh my gosh I was not ready to fall absolutely in love with Alpha and Tango…..but I did!!! Please read the novella Double Reverse first because you are gonna need the background for Double Masked. Dabria hasn’t seen Alpha, Tango, Whiskey , Echo or Romeo since the night in the cemetery. As Dabria is looking for some beignets she finds herself with Alpha and Tango. We really get to know so much about both the guys including their actual names. In case you’re wondering if there is any spice in Double Masked…. You will be glad to know it’s got plenty. And can I say, Holy crap! I was not prepared for that cliffhanger!!! Dabria!!! Well I’ll just sit here and wait for book three because now I don’t know what to do with myself…..

I'm a sucker for Tango, the whole silent-brooding type is definitely my thing. I love Alpha, too, and the sweeter way they handle Dabria when it is just them. Their friendship is top tier too.
Dislikes:
I was saddened that the rest of the guys weren't as active in this book but I have come to learn that each book plays an important role in the whole story. Just had to be patient.
Overall:
10/10 on getting more of a backstory. Once I made it to book two, I was much more excited to start reading the rest since there was so much more information to be had. Mind you, I'm used to reading 600-page romance books with everything all in one. Would be cool if Bridget did a 'complete' series in one book for this universe. The multiple POV's are amazing too. Adds so much depth to the story.

The first book was short, but action-packed and extra spicy! In the first book we got to see the meeting of the MCs and book 2 brings them all back together to go much deeper into their relationships. I loved getting to know more about Alpha and Tango and hearing their back stories. Although there's a more in-depth story in this one there's absolutely no lack of spice 🥵🥵🥵

This was a fantastic book. I would definitely read Double Reverse first, it’s a short novella that sets up Double Masked. Three of the main characters from the novella are featured in this book. It’s an MFM dark romance. You get to drive into the characters past and learn a lot about how they ended up together. Alpha and Tango are M & M and they are head over heels for the FMC who is sweet, sassy, funny and extra curvy, I loved her so much. They boys surprise her in New Orleans and the 3 of them spend the weekend together. The story is great, the characters are memorable, the back story on each MC is important and gives you so much information.

we ended with another cliffhanger! And boy oh boy did I debate telling Bridget to leave us poor people alone, our feelings have had enough, but i want more so here we go, I love that Ridley, Dabria and Killian it hurts me to write that as it's my oldest name pretty much picked up as if 6 months didn't separate them. we finally got background on how they even knew of Dabria and the pasts of each other, and the spice well when Bridget does it she does it very well, couldnt even tell you my favoritelok yes I could start at page 78).1 again can't wait for book 3 because well you'll see.

Oh my goodness this book was incredible. I loved getting to know more about Tango and Alpha individually and their relationship with Dabria as it grew and evolved.
Tango’s story honestly broke my heart I was literally sobbing 😭😭. I just love his character so much. I also enjoyed getting to see his relationship and bond with Alpha. It was so wholesome. We also got a bit of insight into Alpha’s back story and I really felt for him.
Learning about Dabria’s story and everything she has been through broke my heart. She is so resilient and courageous and I love and admire her character so much. I love how she never stopped persevering and going forward in her life.
Overall, I loved every second of reading this book. Also the spice in this book was immaculate and the cliff hanger at the end had me flabbergasted 😱. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series
