Faith is not at her best to do detective work and the FBI is not willing her to lead cases in her town to avoid publicity. She and Michael are flown into Chicago to investigate a case were a woman was found dead, in the nude, posed, and with her body sprinkled with a mysterious powder. The strange cases keep on multiplying and they believe there's a link to alchemy so they start to research the topic. After quite a few twists and turns the culprit is found and the reasons for his killing spree come to light. Entertaining!

Faith, Michael and Turk are sent to Chicago to investigate the murders of young women whose necks have been broken and are left posed naked covered in some kind of colored powder. They have to figure this one out fast before another woman dies. Really enjoyed this book and definitely enjoying this series!

I love a good series but after 17 books of copycats of the original serial killer in book 1 coming after the same FBI agent is getting old. Also, these last few books are riddled with spelling errors, including the names of the main characters. I will finish reading the released books in this series I’ve already purchased but do not plan to buy more if the series continues.

Interest plot line with some twists and turns. The characters are well developed and their relationship adds to the story, giving it greater depth. These books are still fresh and new even though 17 now in the series. Looking forward to finishing this series.
