I received an ARC copy of "A Trailer Park Fairytale". I have not been asked to write this review. There is a warning that has been posted with and in the book. The book has a lot of heavy but needed content. The story is realistic and relatable hence the warning. I loved the book from page one until the end. There were plenty of twist and unexpected turns. You can't help investing in the characters and the storyline. There will be gasp, tears, and cheers. Another amazing book by the author can't for the next.

I was able to read this book early and I absolutely love it! As a child that grew up in trailer park myself, it brought back many memories and stayed true to character. I felt everything Jenna felt. I did NOT want this book to end as I felt so connected to the characters. I could definitely see this turning into a movie. Five stars!

I enjoyed this book and did not want it to end! I can't wait to read the second book in the series. I am left wanting to know more about these characters, as I feel very invested. This is the second book I have read from this author and can't wait to keep reading. This book had me feeling all of the emotions. I loved it!!

I really enjoyed this book, definitely not what I usually read and I was pleasantly surprised. Although I shouldn't be surprised, I've loved everything I've read by this author. These characters are so loveable. It's heartbreaking watching then struggle. I'm looking forward to reading the next in this trilogy.

I had the pleasure of reading a copy of A Trailer Park Fairytale. You will fall in love with Jenna and Treyton. Real life situations and very relatable. Dealing with some of life’s hardest situations, these two manage to find love. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

I wanted to like this more...

I really wanted to like this book more. I spent way more time reading it than I would usually put into a book I didn't love. The story had promise but it just didn't go anywhere. Jenna at 17 and even years later in the end came across ridiculously immature. I felt like I was reading from the perspective of a 12 or 13 year old girl. Hadlee was also immensely immature and unrealistic. The main thing that kept me reading was the Anderson/Jay bit that I figured out almost immediately but in the end it amounted to exactly nothing. It was also quite disappointing to never find out what was up with Maeci or to have any mention of Emily towards the end of the book even though they were very present throughout the story. Overall there was just a lot to be desired and even though I feel bad leaving negative reviews I think it is important to be honest. I may or may not try another book by this author, I have yet to decide.

I so love this book ❤️ The story is really inspiring yet playful. I really like Treyton's character. He seems like a bad boy but there's no bad boy in his bones. He's all pure and sincere. Jen and Emily are ladies turning to women. Hopeful. I love the ending so much ❤️ I cried when Treyton left and so happy when he came back and ask Jen to call his name. Thank you Tanji!!! Love this one ❤️

Beware, this book will break your heart, make you angry and enlighten you to help others. Most people have never imagined what it would be like to grow up like the kids in this book. It will definitely give you a new perspective for what goes on behind closed doors and how easily children can be forgotten and overlooked. Every person who teaches, coaches, in social work or interacts with children in any capacity should read this book. Teenagers everywhere would benefit from the insights into how everyone has their own struggles and crosses to bear. It may encourage those who need help to speak up and those angry at the world to think before they act out against others.

I wanted to read this book for a while now and it surprised me how great the book was. So easy to read and visualise , great story line. I felt frustrated, happy and shocked at times for the characters because I was so sucked into the story and the lives and emotion of the characters!! This book had me thinking about the characters even after I finished reading, and looking forward to when I could continue reading! Found this book on Kindle Unlimited too so it's a bonus!! I was given this book by Ms. Shivener at a book signing we were both a part of and I am very pleased we exchanged books, because I enjoyed this book. It was an eye opener, because she brings to light a lot of real world problems within this one book, from eating disorders to PTSD. And it is set in a trailer park...how unique is that! I highly recommend this book.

This is my third book by TM Shivener and it’s by far my FAVORITE!! I am a sucker for her characters! I fell In love the characters in this book the most. This book touched a lot on mental illness, eating disorders and drug abuse. I could not put it down. READ IT!!!!!

I tried this book as it was written by a local author. I thought it would really have a bit of heart from the area invested into it, but it ended up not really being my cup of tea. It feels written in a journal entry type of style with not a lot of detail between the pages. I couldn't connect with the characters like I wanted to, and that was disappointing to me. The story seemed rushed without laying down roots from the beginning, more telling than showing parts that otherwise could have been very emotional.

This book has a lot of higher ratings than mine, so I am a minority in that department. Obviously others love this, but it just wasn't for me.

Relatable storyline with characters that we all know in one way or another in our real lives. Well written, but easy to understand as well. Some tough, real life decisions, made by the main characters as teenagers make you realize just how challenging life can be for some through no fault of their own. Even though there’s many unpredictable challenges…there’s a happy, but real-life ending ☺️

I loved every bit of this. It was so real. There was nothing fictional about it, this was a story about the real lives of people stuck in a poor upbringing that just want to get out. Jenna's story is so familiar to everyone who's been in highschool that wasn't sure what would happen next. A very sweet happily ever after for a very real fairytale.
