Healing

When I first started I was a little cautious….. hold on they get together so soon in the book, that usually means it’s going to be all full of heartache so I stopped. Worse thing because while they did struggle it’s not what I thought at all. It was growth for both and it was healing seeing the rough journey. And wow looooved the spice. Loved!

Wow! This was a raw, passionate and heartwarming story of Tessa (22) and Zane (33) . A story about Grief & loss, overcoming a death of a loved one and finding courage and strength to love..

The amount of emotions that I was pulled through, honestly I got whiplash , I am slowly recovering.. One moment I'm wiping tears and the next I'm smiling at Tessa's sassy remarks The intensity was overwhelming. This book had it all, the push and pull, the sexual tension and a very strong plot with a likeable FMC/MMC.. ,.. They had me craving for their moment to snap! The way i yelled "FINALLY!!!"

I liked Tessa she was feisty and was surrounded by a nice group of friends., especially Jen! . There was a few moments i wanted to shake her but i guess love makes you do crazy things.., including risking her college degree.. Although Zane appeared to be the bad guy in hurting her, i had to remind myself that he was always truthful with his intentions, but i wanted to give him a shake too.. I loved his possessive.. He can be my teacher any day

I completely understood Zane in his grief, I'm a twin myself and i couldn't possibly imagine my life without her. The flashbacks was a great touch in this book, that really made us feel his heartbreak. "I still see kimberley, the girl i spent my whole life growing up with, the girl I shared everything with - every milestone, every laugh, every tear ; my twin sister, best friend, and and the other half of of me" 💔-
This hit me right in my feelings💔

I loved the texting and handwritten notes too! That was the perfect touch! I really didn't want to put this book down, i was addicted.

PS I'm now waiting patiently for Tobias' story..

I found this book so easy to just loose my time too. I would start reading, get lost in the world of Zane and Tessa.
I loved the flirting and the slow burn to this book!
I never thought it would have me crying in parts though.
Love the characters and the way the story just flows.
Defiantly will be keeping my eye out for more Lea Rose books!

I was utterly taken with this book by around the 10% mark! It drew me and and held my attention.. I even found myself thinking about it while I wasn’t reading! I also found myself tearing up a few times!
Tessa and Zane were perfection! From their insta lust fueled chemistry to the bratty sassiness, I knew I was gone! But our grief stricken MMC has a past and can’t move past his damaged heart to love another, even if that means losing the girl of his dreams. Ah! The book just flows!! And makes the roller coaster ride of emotions so worth it!!!

Zane and Tessa had me in a chokehold from their first interaction.
Their connection is instant and the pull undeniable no matter how hard they fight their forbidden romance.
But this story is also about grief and learning to live again after losing someone you love.

• I cannot with this book, absolutely obsessed. I messaged her when I was done and said I smiled, I laughed, I shouted out loud, I cried. Seriously such a wonderful story. I highlighted SO many parts.

• I’ve never fallen in love with a FMC faster. Literally first page I wanted to hang out with this woman. Tessa our FMC, is an innocent young woman waiting for a connection. Zane the MMC, who is plagued by loss in his past. Andy swears never to fall in love with anyone. And then they meet, and it is instant attraction. Oh did I mention she ends up being his student? Yep. That happens. Mind you AFTER they have gone on a few days. Whew.

• I am now a huge fan of Leas, and I cannot wait for another book. I cannot recommend this one enough.

This book!! Zane and Tessa meet through a dating app but after a couple dates learn that Zane is Tessa’s new professor. From that point on they have to find the intense feelings they have for each other and sneak around.
When feelings get to be to strong they are both faced with what to do next.
This story hurts so good. The chemistry is off the charts, the spice is spicy and the tension, will they get caught?! Aww I was all in!

Really Sweet

This book was really sweet. I love love loved the banter between Zane and Tessa. The chemistry was absolute fire from the moment they met. My favorite part of the book was when they met and their first two dates. The way Zane was so smoooooth... and Tessa gave him the same energy right back and I was HERE for it! They had me so giddy and I had so much fun reading.
While this story was full of tension, forbidden love, angst.. and all my favorite things haha it also had depth. Especially for Zane. His grief was palpable and even tho I couldn't wait for them to just be together forever, I felt his struggle and his inner fight with himself.. it all made so much sense. And showed how much he really loved Tessa by being able to set aside his own wants for her needs.
Now, as much as I liked Zane.. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because of Tobias. I ended up enjoying him more than Zane and honestly just couldn't wait to get to his book lol. Heading to it now!

WOW, WOW,WOW.... First of, I know this author's work and her writing style from other platforms and I couldn't wait for this, but this was absolutely unexpected in the most amazing way imaginable, most definitely one of those stories that will forever have a special place not only on the book shelf but in the heart. The author knows how to tell a story and she knows how to do love, and she does love damn GOOD! I couldn't put this down, the moment I started reading I binged Tessa and Zane's journey in one setting and I'm still crying, not sure if it's because of the crazy romance I was just swept in, or because I want more. It pulls on every heart string and there's not one dull moment, just as you think you have an idea what's going to happen next, *boom* it hits you with something completely different. Until We Meet Again offers everything you want in a steamy romance... drama, suspense, love, jealousy, conflict, laughter, build up.... and of course the s#x.. oh boyyyy, professor Zane is definitely the perfect book boyfriend! PERFECT I tell you. I 100% recommend this book to any romantic out there that want to experience all the feels and I do mean ALL the feels. What an absolute must read, can't wait for the next one....

If I had a teacher like Zane, I'd find it impossible to concentrate!

From the start, this book draws you into the Insta-Lust and chemistry between our main characters, Tessa and Zane.

The crazy romance that these two share is impossible for you to peel your eyes away from. The sweetness, the lust, the hate, the spice, the "good girl" and "yes, professor," I honestly thought I'd find cringy, but I was totally swept away. The age gap didn't bother me either, 11 years really isn't that much in my personal opinion.

The backstory of Zane, his grief and sadness, only makes you fall in love with him all the more. Seeing his vulnerability and his walls just all but disintegrate when Tessa first smiles at him, just pulls on your heart. And the internal battle he has with himself keeps you screaming at him, telling him to "just tell her!"

It's not only the FMC and MMC that draw you in within the pages. Getting little snippets of all the friends surrounding the story, like Jen, Erik, and Tobias, make the story even richer. And when I saw that Book 2 was being written, I squealed! (I hoped and prayed that this character would get their own story! I was even going to hassle Lea until it was done! No spoilers here!!)

This was the first piece of writing I have read by Lea Rose, and it won't be the last. The writing style is effortless and just flows, keeping you entranced with the story from beginning to end and making you endure the rollercoaster of emotions that always comes pairs with an amazing romance story.

Zane and Tessa's forbidden romance had me addicted. Tessa being the innocent women who decides to go on a in the moment date with the sexy Zane only to find out he's her professor. Their romance burns fast and hard and threatens to rip both there lives apart if it gets out but they just can't stay away from each other. The spice seems are fire and constantly left me wanting more. There is some heartbreak for Zane in the past that made you see why he pushes Tessa away. This book is so well written and has you falling in love with the characters. This is a great read and I can't wait for book 2 so read about more of the other characters mentioned.

I feel so bad rating this one so low but…I just didn’t like it. It had everything going for it; angst, age gap with the MMC being older, teacherXstudent but it just didn’t work for me. Tessa was very immature, and for me an age gap romance only ever works if both characters are of the same maturity. The spice and some of the conversations made me cringe. One thing I absolutely hate is when the word “brat” is used and either party gets a kick out of it, something I’ve discovered is a ick of late as it seems to feature in so many books recently.

This was a strong debut novel. The writing style flowed so well, and it was easy to get absorbed in the story early on. I really appreciated how the author handled the dual points of view. Most often, dual points of view fail to give the reader both points of view of the same event at the same time. However, she did that here multiple times so the reader saw the same event unfolding in real time from Zane’s perspective and Tessa’s perspective. Zane and Tessa had such great chemistry. There was really good character development. Consistent with their characters, we learn more about Tessa up front, whereas Zane’s back story is more of a slow reveal comparatively. This was a great story about love and loss. While it definitely has spice, it contributed to the characters’ relationship and their connection and wasn’t just in there for the sake of being smutty. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the story and how much of an emotional rollercoaster this book turned out to be.

Did I stay up until 1am even though I have to be up in a few hours, because I couldn’t put this down? Yes. Did I laugh and ugly cry throughout? Double yes!

The way that Lea writes both her male and female main characters is something else 🫶🏼♥️

This book was utterly beautiful - and for topics within which are incredibly close to home (pls read the foreword huns) … it was written with such a gentle approach, and hit the feels so SO hard! 😭

I absolutely am in love with Zane, and Tessa - their story is amazing. The spice, was bloody nice but I know that I’ll come away from this book with more than just a hard on for a teacher/student trope 😍🤣

This will stick with me for a long time and a perfect way to start 2025 with a 5* read off the bat!

Wasn't sure what to expect of this book but I was not disappointed!!

The story of Zane and Tessa, they Meet and sparks fly before they realise he's her tutor , can they stay away from each other obviously not!

Zane doesn't want to get in too deep as he's still not over the death of his twin sister, and he doesn't want to give that side of himself away to be hurt again.

This book was so good , the other characters and i already can't wait for the next book.

I'm not usually a fan of college romances but as he's the tutor does that count 🤔😆

I highly recommend

Wow, this book was simply wonderful! It gave so many different feels, family love, loss, heartbreak, angst, spice, lust, romantic love, forbidden romance, age gap.

Everything about this story, was done so well.

Zane, an English professor who lost his twin sister and is grieving, moves to a new place in the hopes of starting fresh.

Tessa, an English major who is about to finish her degree, meets a handsome guy who doesn’t give her the creeps, but sets her body on fire.

They soon realise he’s her new professor and they try and stay away from one another, but obviously they can’t. I love their love story, their need to be with one another, Tessa’s need to be there for Zane, and wanting him to open up to her. Zane holding back and not telling her why.

I love Lea’s writing, all her books tell such wonderful stories. This book also has 2 amazing poems in, which I personally loved!!

Nice quick read. Gave it 3 stars because I found the main male kinda annoying at times. I get being sad over losing a family member, but he was putting his whole love life on hold for years, he was having such a severe reaction to it I though he lost a wife or a gf, I was a bit confused when I found out it was his sister he lost. But other than that it was an angsty read which I love.

A filthy favorite

Zane and Tessa connect so well it’s like there is no 11 year age gap. The spark between to them will light you up during the slow burn.

“One day, you'll look at someone, and your soul will ache to touch them. Don't hide from your feelings just because they scare you.”

Zane’s bond with his sister, Kim was refreshing from the stereotypical ‘boys only brotherly bonds’. Witnessing his grief and beginning to living again was a great representation of being a surviving family member.

Tessa really blossomed with her new experiences. I loved seeing her bold moments expressing what she needed.

From the meet cute to taboo this slow burn will drag your heart from page to page. And when I found out the meaning of the title ‘Until We Meet Again’ my heart throbbed.

I went into this book blind, and I didn’t have a look at anything about it. I thought it was going to be a sweet story about a man who lost his sister… which it is… but I was also completely FLOORED when I read Zane. Oh my..

Zane, a university teacher, lost his twin sister later in their lives. They were best friends and were the definition of twin souls. Without her, he was empty, angry, and lived his life emotionally switched off and controlled.

Tessa, a beautiful young adult, trying to find her way in life and is sick of missing out on what everyone else is experiencing, she is a virgin, but has the soul of a temptress and a bratty attitude to match.

They link up on a dating app and meet up for coffee, which turns into late night drinks. Bonding over their shared interest of books and English literature, their banter is absolute fire! That is until Tessa starts classes, and Zane starts his new job, and they are no longer strangers. He is her teacher, and she is his student. Will they be able to navigate a relationship, or will they have to part ways and go back to being perfect strangers?

This book is absolutely amazing! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It has parts that will rip your heart out but also light a fire at your core. It’s a story that keeps on giving, and I finished it within a day because I couldn’t take a minute to put it down! I recommend a box of tissues beside you because I cried at the end, and I did not see it coming!

It is a literary masterpiece ? No
Did I still devour it in less than two days? Absolutely.
There is just something about a Teacher / Student romance that I can't get enough of.
It was a good, quick, spicy read after all the fantasy books I've been reading.
