Not a Mom, but often on the run

After reading this author's first book, this popped up as a recommendation, and I was surprised. I'm not a mom (to people anyway 😊), but who doesn't need to be better prepared in this day and age? There is always something popping up and being prepared is something I've been learning about for years. This book gave me some really good, practical advice. Tips and tricks on how to get myself a well thought out EDC with ideas for additional items and upgrades to my current purse kit. Plus ideas for prepping the car for those little out and about emergencies or situations that pop up! I'd recommend this book for any woman, mom or not, who wants ideas and easy ways to get prepared and feel more comfortable and confident in day to day life.

Super quick read and good concept. Definitely learned a myriad of new things and the app list was extremely helpful. I didn’t necessarily thing this book needed to be structured in novel form and wished there were more paragraphs and sub bullets dedicated to the items related to certain things but the lists at the end were helpful in this respect. If anything, I think the book was even longer than it needed to be but definitely a good thing to keep in your back pocket.

I’m going to update as I go but wanted to get my thoughts down.

I’m at the end of the first section and feel the 43% this took up could easily be 20% or less.

Pack what you need (phone and accessories, a snack, basic first aid), think about what you might need (a weapon? Notebook etc)

Then when it’s too heavy leave it in your car anyway.
