Heather and her best friend, Jenn, go to Southern California where Jenn's cousin is trying out for the Olympics. Instead of fun, sun and the appeal of equestrian show-jumping competitions, Heather finds a baffling mystery. As she puzzles over disabled thoroughbreds, a terrifying ghost rider and an assortment of suspects, Heather finds that the desire for a gold medal can be deadly.
