Verdie Vestri has the power to control the winds. She's a siege survivor and teenage war heroine with her eyeliner on point and her self-esteem smudged. At the Magical Girl Academy, she makes new friends- and even gets a crush on one of them. But can she challenge monsters when she's still fighting her own thoughts? To reach her true potential, she'll have to fly above the burden of her turbulent past.
Read this book with my daughter - will let her review, bear in mind she is 10 years old and English is her second language. Well, well. THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD!!! But the first book is still the best lol. I like this book cuz, I met Ava! I'm impressed that you make a better book lately (because book 2 is terrible). I have better girl better power and better friends! Wind, fire, water and earth its incredible! I have a very very bad mood on book 2 but book 3 is a lot better :). You must improve the action scene, you skip them too much. But I still loves this book ;P.
