Following the events of Book 3: Another Day In Paradise, and Book 4: Thunder Run, the unit is paired with the Golden Eagles, a crack mercenary tank regiment. Their mission is to suppress a breakaway republic from gaining independence from the planetary government. Given the nature of warfare the unit can't hope to survive on the front lines, and instead tasked out to provide medical evacuation of any fallen Golden Eagles members. The mission is help others survive but will they survive the front lines that they have to do evacuations on?
