Jeff Gage had been a cop. He and his partner went into an alley on a tip that a drug deal was going going down. They hoped to make an arrest and squeeze the perp to roll over on his supplier. Instead, they were ambushed. They had been set up by the tipster. Gage’s partner died; Gage was critically wounded. He retired on a disability pension and fell into a profound depression, blaming himself for his partner’s death. Just to get himself out of the house, he began making pizza deliveries to help out his cousin. And, making a delivery to the wrong address, he stepped into the middle of a major drug deal just as it was going horribly wrong. Faced with a room full of cash, drugs and dead bodies, Gage had to make a snap decision about what to do. His decision changed the course of his life. It also made him a target for some very dangerous people.
