Celebrate Taylor's favorite holiday with this sparkly, giftable book bursting with adorable wintertime whimsy! This contemporary take on “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is an irresistible ode to Taylor Swift and her loyal, dedicated fans. Like the perfect stocking, The 13 Days of Swiftness is filled to the brim with goodies—from friendship bracelets and chai sugar cookies, to, of course, new recordings of beloved albums. Cozy up with a cup of cocoa as you pore over the pages of this festive book and count down from thirteen selfies to one very special star atop the tree. The perfect way for fans of all ages to celebrate the holidays!
This unauthorized Taylor Swift-inspired picture book is a nice gift idea for Swifties of all ages. It adapts what is arguably the most annoying Christmas song by counting down the days with iconography that will instantly make Taylor’s fans smile, including friendship bracelets, cats, cardigans, and more. The images and text are careful not to get too close to copyrighted material, but fans will easily pick up on references like “eras” and “Hi, it’s me.” Those who like to complain will probably find things in this book to quibble with, but if they can “shake it off,” there is plenty to enjoy in this little book, not to mention its eventual collectible value.
Perhaps a die hard Swiftie will love this, but being UNauthorized and capitalizing on Taylor isn't my favorite thing in the world. Additionally, I had to get things explained to me. Again, not a Swiftie. So while I got the friendship bracelets and boots, I needed chai cookies explained. I forget she collected snow globes. And I could keep going on and on
I had true Swifties read it and they weren't fans either.
Swifty fans will want this book. The only words in the book daily words to the so 12 Day sog Christmas, only this is 13 Days of Christmas. Only recently has Tylor Swift been on my radar, so I can not give this a proper review. But I know that the illustrations are very lively and bright, just like Christmas, and that I enjoyed each page that Brooke created. The book seems like something a young Swifty fan would love to find under their tree and add to their collection of Swifty memorabilia.
A play on 12 Days of Christmas for the Swifties, except 13 because #iykyk
It's literally just the lyrics to a Taylor Swift-based rendition of the song, with big bright illustrations for each item and little Easter eggs for the fandom throughout.
As a swiftie, I thought this was super cute for kids, but a little corny for me as an adult (which makes sense, this is a children’s book). Some of the rhymes were actually pretty good though, and I appreciated the more niche Taylor references like the snow globes!
I love everything Taylor 🫶🏼 but this left a little bit to be desired. I wish it rhymed better and read smoother. I wish it had better cadence and then I realize I should not expect this much from a 15 page book. Enjoy the pictures
Adult fans will enjoy gifting this to each other, but there was no effort to make this age-appropriate and relevant to little kids, especially with the bizarre ending.
