Brilliant Quentin Ramsey could read by the age of two, knew every bone in the body when he was four, healed every animal imaginable by six, yet when he was expelled from medical school, falsely accused of cheating, he was dumbfounded. Believing his roommate is the culprit, he sets out to get answers. Jillian, his feisty, red-headed sister is a dreamer and in her vision she discovers a family secret that unfolds when she gets a telegram from Quentin’s classmate asking for her help. She arrives just as a bomb explodes. Soon other classmates are fighting for their lives. Jacque Remington is on a mission of his own to settle a family feud which has taken the life of his younger sister, Anne. Fate brings them together as plots twist with each turn of the page.
I found this book somewhat difficult to follow, but I decided to complete it. For the first half it jumped around with so many characters that it was difficult to keep all the scenarios straight, but as I read the last half, it became easier to keep up. I enjoyed Jillian and Jacque the most, but there were different adventures taking place throughout the read. I only gave it three stars because of the difficulty of so many scenarios in one book. They kind of brought everything together, but you really had to keep up.
