Overview: Sandy Sumner is the sheriff of the fairytale lands, in the small town that's named Kasselville. Now she has an actual murder to solve. Cordelia Bauerstein was one of the two owners of a pig farm. The only people (of a sort) around are the victim's brother, Donald, and a transient wolf, Frederick. Who wanted Cordelia dead? Did Frederick kill her? And what happened to the pigs? Let's find out.
Dislikes: This would be the beaver hybrid, and his raven cohorts. What these individuals did was theft, and worse than theft, if you think about it.
Likes: Sandy did her best to follow the clues.
Frederick had a good heart.
Conclusion: This was a fun little story. If you like cozy fantasies and cozy mysteries, then this book is for you. Enjoy the read.

I absolutely loved this novella. The characters are outstanding, starting with the shape-shifting sheriff, the wandering wolf who gave off vibes of the English actor David Niven, and the victim, a pig farmer—loads of humor and unexpected twists and turns. I highly recommend.
