Dense and literary and brutal. Some stories went on a little long for me though. Title story was pretty great at the end.

A collection of short stories that is a bit more suspensful than horror compared to the author's usual work.

I found some of the stories to be experiments with style, bizarro for one.

The best story, Geek Poems, has Jacob's fine touches of prose and depth of research coupled with a deviant imagination that somehow ties in cherries...
