“Maybe I am worse now.” ~ Tizzy Hellenar
Tilly Hallenar, wielder of Wish, is the sister that always felt like she didn’t belong, and not like her other siblings. When a surprise visit sends her down a path of discovering the truth regarding her past.
Aleth Hallenar, wielder of Mercy, is the estranged brother of the Hallenar Royal estate. He comes back abruptly to warn his family of a fight they are not prepared for. There are secrets and mysteries that are awaiting every corner, and this isn't just their story. There are so many great characters and adventures in this book, and it had me holding my breath!!
First off, I was thrilled to receive this ARC and couldn’t wait to dive in. AJ Gala masterfully weaves together multiple storylines and perspectives from the characters in this book. The world-building is both imaginative and captivating. You'll encounter royal families grappling with political challenges, new systems to navigate, magic, mythical beasts, and intense battles that will keep you on the edge of your seat. However, be aware that this book includes mature themes and explores some 'taboo' tropes. As always, I recommend checking the trigger warnings before you begin reading.
Wish & Mercy by AJ Gala is available on KindleUnlimited (Confirmed as of Posted date: 8/20/2024)
So let's talk about how GOT and Lord of the rings meets and has a baby! This book is crazy good! I feel like "whew" is not the proper term for what is happening here. This book is terriblely good, I can't even decide who is my favorite character! It's like watching a movie and being left hanging without a clue which way it's gonna go.
Definitely read TW before reading cause if GOT bothered you this book definitely will. Can't wait to finish the series 🙌🏾
I was really interested in this book and all the different twists and turns throughout! At first, Allanis wasn’t a very strong character but she grew with her role of fitting into her character as queen. Tizzy is my favorite by far. She’s grumpy but who wouldn’t be given the circumstances!! You’ll have to pick up the book to find out what happens to Allanis’s kingdom Suradia!
