Altra bella storia, con due protagonisti abbastanza tormentati dal mio punto di vista. La parte gialla non mi ha convinto del tutto, forse perché le motivazioni dei colpevoli non sono abbastanza "forti", o meglio, non stanno in piedi (si vogliono arricchire e vendicare, ma scelgono un modo un po' "complicato" per farlo). Mi piace come la famiglia, ormai allargata, stringe i ranghi per difendere i suoi membri.

What an incredible intriguing mystery that surrounded Cash and his family. It appeared that they were in constant danger and it was only when Carlyle was able to start helping the family that they were able to find some answers. While working together Cash and Carlyle fell in love to form their own family dynamics.

Everyone has tried to protect Izzy when bad stuff happened. It took Carlyle to get Cash to realize he should now be more open with her. Cash also realized Carlyle was making him see how things could change for the better.

Really enjoyed this book. It was fun getting reacquainted with the Hudson-Daniels families. Strong action, great supporting family and a HEA that both Carlyle and Cash deserve. While this is part of a series, this book can stand alone. Highly recommend the entire series.
