Lost Wolf: Moonshifter Academy Book 2
It's my first year at Moonshifter Academy and boring is not in the vocabulary. I'm acing through it, soaking in knowledge like a sponge at a water park, and loving every chaotic minute. But then, the plot thickens, and not in a good way.
The twist? It’s not the brain-twisting syllabus or those endless full-moon study marathons that knock me off my stride. Nope. Cue Eddie and Artemon. These two decide that vying for my heart is their new must-do after-school. Devotion? Obsession? Heck, maybe I'm the one sending mixed signals. Decisions were never my strong suit.
Just when I think life couldn't spin any faster, my dad's enigmatic Book of Shapes joins the party with its own brand of chaos. It's years overdue and I'm the one who owes the fine. And we're not talking pocket change; we're talking an arm and a leg—literally. The Library of Forbidden Secrets plays for keeps. Luckily, a new boy enters the picture, and he knows all about old books and libraries with vendettas. He also might be just the guy to take my mind off Eddie and Artemon...if they'll let him live.
Before I can even enjoy a first date, enter Niolhor, the gnarly type of villain that makes your worst nightmare seem like a dream come true. This ancient baddie, with a grudge against my fam, decides it's time for a comeback tour. So there I am, smack dab in the middle of a supernatural love triangle, trying to keep Niolhor from crashing our world.
And oh, did I mention the deadly curse? Keep ‘em coming, baby. Suddenly, my romantic dilemmas are less about who to date and more about who's not making it to tomorrow. Romantic, huh?
So, with nothing but a positive attitude (yeah right), some new shapeshifting abilities, and a few ride-or-die friends, I'm howling straight into this whirlwind. Hey, this is just another semester at Moonshifter Academy.
