I was destined to meet them both… and to fall hard for them.
I’m pregnant and on the run from my hot Mafia Don and fall straight into the arms of a delicious temptation, ex-Special Forces hunk Aiden Burg.
Ade is my knight in shining armor, especially when Tiero tracks me down. It was only a matter of time, wasn’t it? Tiero’s devotion to me is next level, and now that I’m carrying his heir, he’s never going to let me go.
Then amidst the hardest decision I ever had to make, betrayal and danger strike.
Just when everything seems to have fallen into place, the world shifts beneath my feet. The stakes have never been higher, leaving my future more uncertain than ever.
What should I do? These men are playing for keeps, but so am I.

The book Nikila Rose fans have been waiting for! The wait is definitely worth it. This alternative ending to Ella, Tiero, and Aiden's journey is just soooo good. I have had the pleasure and honour of being a small part of it coming to life, and I'm obsessed.
Must read book 1 (Sicilian Sunset) and book 2 (Nights At Sea) first, you dont need to but I would recommend reading the original book 3 ( A New Dawn ) too to get the full effect of this alternative ending. This book is full of angst and uncertainty for Ella. Will she make a different decision? How will it affect each of them? Will Tiero get his 'one' this time around? What will Aiden do?
Get ready for the ride! There are always different paths to happiness. Some are harder than others. Every lifetime is different, but each part of the soul will always find their way back to the other/others, one way or another ♥️
Did you read the choose your own ending adventure books as a child?
Nikila has given us the choice with the alternative ending of ‘A Second Dawn’
I was destined to meet them both… and to fall hard for them.
This ending is a slow, angst filled burn. I have laughed, cried, wondered what choice she’d ultimately make but most of all loved every minute of this story as much as the original.
Ella, is so strong and her strength really shows through, she’s loyal to her friends and those she loves.
Aiden, is kind, caring, sensitive and strong…
Tiero, is the mafia don, his life is rife with danger…
Who will Ella choose and will it end as you expect?
If you haven’t read the first 2 books add them to your TBR Can’t decided which ending you’d like - you don’t have to - read them both.
From beginning to end, this series has been an absolute adventure. Getting a second retelling of its final book...well, that's just like the cherry on top!
Ella, Tiero, and Aiden are back! While I enjoyed the original version of this series epic conclusion, I felt that fate had decided Ella's outcome in that story. With A Second Dawn, I felt that Nikila gave our heroine Ella the chance to decide her own path giving yet another compelling story and journey to take us on....
Ella is a woman who was destined to love two enigmatic and dynamically different men. Together they make up three parts of a flame that burns bright but, who will she choose....
I have been hooked on this series since the very beginning of Ella's journey and couldn't wait for it's exciting conclusion. This alternative version took me on yet another surprising turn with Ella and Tiero's story and I couldn’t have loved it more! With this story, I found myself on a new uncharted path that lead me to so many unpredictable and delightfully different moments which ultimately changed the fate of these characters indefinitely.
I won't go into details as that would ruin the amazing reading experience that this book is. Just go in and enjoy this new journey that Nikila takes you on. At it's heart, this is truly a story of soulmates, and the unbreakable bonds of love.
This was such an incredible series and what another enthralling conclusion to end it on! Again, I'm sad to see this series come to a close but happy to have experienced this new version which finally gave Ella and Tiero the happy ending they truly deserved!
Whether you're team Tiero or team Aiden, this story will take you on a beautiful ride! It's a wonderfully written journey that's a rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end! What can I say other than get this series on your TBR NOW! I promise, you'll be glad you did!
A Second Dawn is an alternate ending to The Triple Flame Trilogy. The author wrote the initial ending in A New Dawn and threw her readers for a loop, that’s for sure. You see, Ella was lucky enough to love and be loved by two men. The problem is, she can only be with one of them. Each of them offer her a different type of lifestyle and she can see herself in both. The safe, care-free life she always thought she’d have, or the complicated more dangerous lifestyle. All I’ll say is the heart wants what the heart wants.
The book starts with Ella trying to get away from the dangerous life she found herself in but something changes along the way that has her questioning what she should really do and what she actually wants. On one side, she has this really sweet guy who adores her and on the other, she has another guy who not only adores her and worships the ground she walks on, but he also already has her heart and she never really got it back. We meet so many new people along the way that are willing to help her. Her friend Claudette, who you can find in both books, is so much fun. I absolutely love her and hope to read her story someday.
Ella’s journey in A Second Dawn is beautiful. Though fate played a part in both endings, I feel like in this edition, she really had to choose what she wanted more, whereas in A New Dawn, fate stepped in and made the choice for her. Both books are amazing, but I do have to admit that I liked this one just a little bit more.
A Second Dawn is so chaotic it’s fantastic! Ok this book was fantastic. Nikila Rose was bold and ambitious into writing Tiero’s alternative ending. Continuing from A New Dawn the drama and suspense is heating up and cracks in the foundation are starting to show. How exciting! What I loved about the story is that I could not predict what was going to happen. I loved how, resilient, obsessive and brilliant Tiero was to doing everything in his power to track down Ella and how he was able to go ahead to ahead with Aiden, Lex and Fremont security. I love how Claudette joint Ella into helping her escape Tiros men on the cruise ship. That was so good. I loved the friendship bond between Ella, Claudette and Aiden throughout the book. Ella and Aiden's blooming romantic relationship seemed way more believable than in A New Dawn. One of my absolute favorite parts of the book is when Tiero revealed how he found Ella and that it was Aiden and Rhea was the one who messed up And he told Aiden so confident and smugly. And how it took a hit to Aiden's pride of his failure. That was so good! The writing was top-notch and very engaging. The series has a better conclusion. I prefer this alternative ending. This book was freaking amazing. Holy guacamole!
There are no words to describe this book. That I love this book is an understatement. This is the perfect ending to the trilogy, exactly how it was meant to be. Angsty, chaotic, dramatic, beautiful, vivid, imaginative, this book embodies all emotions. Although and alternative ending but so much more intriguing, it felt like I didn’t read the original ending at all. All characters are amazing but I loved Tiero specially, so very much, he was quite misjudged, but his love for Ella was so fierce, almost tangible. This book is perfect. Nikila has the most vivid imagination as a writer, she really has the wildest imagination, her work is perfect. An absolute masterpiece. A must read, highly recommended. I look forward to another of her masterpieces.
This was absolutely perfect ending to this trilogy. This alternative ending had me glued to the pages from the start. I was a bit sceptical of reading this after the previous ending and I’m so so happy that I did. It was everything I was hoping for it to happen. Ella and Tiero were meant to be from the start and he proved to her that her love meant more to him than being mafia don. With this book I also felt more connection to Aidan and now wonder what happened to him, does he have a story with happy ending. I feel like I want to know what happened to everyone else. Would Matteo ever find out about Tiero? I want more!
There is no words to describe this trilogy and the alternate ending. I have cried, laughed and solved even lol with this book. Niki did an amazing job with this book, and I am so glad that we all got to read an alternative ending to a book. The ending to a new dawn was amazing, but the ending to a second dawn was just as amazing. Thank you so much Nikila for all that you do for your readers and for always replying to all of our messages. Please please please please read this book. It has an amazing story.
Well where do I begin, I loved the first 3 books in this series and if you haven't read you need to start right at thr beginning, Elle and Tiero and then Aiden and Elle, I won't lie I was totally gutted when Tiero and Elle didn't get their HEA, and even though I was sad and cried like a baby I was happy with the out come and fell in love with Aidens character. But this book is totally spot on and a perfect alternative ending, and it's beautifully done, and they get their perfect HEA......BUT I now need Aiden to get his alternative HEA, please.
This is the first 'alternative ending' book I've ever read, and I have to admit, I was a little sceptical at the start. I'm not a big believer in crystals, and fortune tellers and separate souls. But even if I did find parts of the book a little boring, (for me) the last half had me absolutely riveted. Nikila certainly redeemed herself. No, I wasn't happy. I preferred the original ending. And there were so many times I wanted to call Ella a damn tease, but any way it went, someone had to lose. I would have liked to have known what happened to Aiden and Rhia, though.
This is supposed to be the happier of the ending books since there is alternative ending book. However, for me I found that I don’t enjoy books where there is more then one male character that the female character falls for. In the end, someone’s heart was getting broken. And no matter who she ends up with, the other guy is still heartbroken. I liked both male characters and didn’t want either one to get hurt.
This was my first story where multiple guys were involved and personally don’t think this is my type of story.
What an amazing series this has been .. the triangle between Tiero, Ella and Aiden.
The writing is amazing. The story telling is on point and the secondary characters are so good. There is always someone to love and characters to dislike (Antonio!).
This book is the alternate ending, instead of Tiero dying, he survives. The love and the bond that comes with the Triple Flame is extraordinary. Having read both endings now, I’m not sure who I truly see Ella being with. Either way this series has been brilliant.
Ok, so from the start I was team Tiero. There was just something about the way that he loves Ella that is simply out of this world. Rose did an excellent job portraying his love through this book. Now, was his methods a bit much? I’d say yes, but he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was meant for him. Claudette’s character was a tad much for me, but I hung in there as she really became a source of calmness for Ella. I opted not to read the original ending due to my Team Tiero status. This was my first series by Nikila Rose and I’ll continue to read her material.

While reading this story I experienced such heavy emotion; at times I smiled, laughed, cried, felt fear, and heartache. Nikila is an amazing storyteller and builds her characters up bit by bit until you feel like they are your best friend of lover. She immerses you in her world and you really don't want to leave. I read the original trilogy and really appreciated this alternative ending. You will need to read the trilogy firs
Thank you Nikila Rose for writing an alternate ending. What a gift! This beautiful book completed the story as I imagined and hoped it would. I read the first two books again ( I previously said I never would) and then jumped into the alternative ending…….It was several chefs kisses. My only wish now is to read a story about Mateo……I shall keep my fingers crossed!
Absolutely loved this book. It kept me hooked fron the begining to the end. Like the previous review I was a little sad about Tiero's ending in the last book but I loved Aiden too. So this ending was perfect for me. I would also like to see Aiden have his own happy ending. Well done Nikila what another fabulous book.
Definitely not as emotional as the first one, this was the happy ending we were all expecting. Of the two of them. But Aiden being left out after I connected with him in the other ending.. I suffered with him. I would have loved for all three of them to be together. Would have made for the happiest of endings 😭
Wow what a story what an ending. I was not expecting anything remotely like this amazing story. Between Aiden, Tiero, and Ella, not to mention Claudette they each won a piece of my heart. Danger, drama and one exciting story beautifully presented. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
After crying my eyes out at the original ending I was curious about the alternative ending. I am blown away at how this story had just as much drama and plot twists.
I had a love/hate relationship with Aiden as I love Tiero and felt he was taking over Ella’s feelings for Tiero.. The ending was a surprise, but made me happy that there was a HEA.
The story was really good and intriguing love all the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat love every minute of. The darkness in the story was great and the love also too.
Was this book necessary? And different ending? No, not really. Although I don’t like series ending, this one made me glad it did. It just kept going in circles.
I honesty fell in love with this series however I felt that there were some gaps that I felt like I wanted filling just to make it really complete even if they were just minuscule things
