When I tell you I ran to read this I did. The story continues straight from where we were left off from in Rejected Princess. We find out more about both of her mates. We are finding out that she maybe more to her than just being human. I can wait to find out if she will be a cross of all the supernatural or just one that be laying dormant. I don't know how I feel about her bodyguard mate but the vampire/werewolf mate can have me for sure. When I finished the book I went looking for the Betrayed Witch lol now off to the waiting game.

Are you KIDDING me?! That ending has me running to get the next book!! The mix of vampires, werewolves, humans, and witches is intense and captivating. Putting this book down was a serious struggle. I gave myself a goal of reading it in 1-2 weeks and read it in 48 hours lol. Figuring out what the FMC is, which mate she’ll choose, and what lies ahead for her is addicting and has me wanting more and more.

Personal Reaction
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The tension between Breanna and Torin remains strong, and I liked that her struggle to balance her human life with her supernatural origins continues to feel personal and real. The vampire world that expands here is intriguing, and the political and magical conflicts gave the story weight without feeling overly complicated. The romance feels earned, though not overly dramatic—it’s more about connection than fireworks, which suited the tone for me.

This was an overall fun read and solid continuation. I’d recommend it to fans of shifter-vampire fantasy who want a character-driven story with light political intrigue.

Being back here brings back bad memories but this time Torin acknowledges that she is in fact her mate and be has known for many years. He still keeps his distance as hos vampire wants to bite her. Anna is dumbfounded at this news to her especially after his refusal years prior. Torin talks about her becoming his Luna in thr pack but it she is still human after all. Her feelings for him deepen eventho he keeps himself at a distance....what can she do to make him see? After yet another kidnapping, in which Hayden was also captured, and Torin is walking into a trap, Anna follows a butterfly to uncover another book. The Queen of Vsmpires wants the book and Torin for her chosen mate and the Hunters are after a different book. Things just got wayy more complicated. Not to mention she meets the dark witch in her dreamscape. Things are not what they seem and Anna is more determined to find out who she really is. Next book please!!.

Book two of The Eternal Queen had me whipping my head back and forth.
I’m still not sure who to trust, and I can’t say I could choose if I were in Anna’s position really because she is as in the dark as I am!
Things get more twisted in this book, and as a reader, learning more information about the kingdoms, their enemies, and Anna’s past, is great. Seeing how her insecurities continued to build up and compound over her upbringing was incredibly well done.
I am frustrated with her, though, because she jumps from one decision to the next which is completely opposite. She is so assured and then goes back on her decision in a split second. She wants to be headstrong but gives in almost immediately if she is shown any sort of affection or kindness.
I am excited to read the next book and hopefully get some answers, and find out who her mate is!.

The pacing is relentless, with events unfolding at a breakneck speed that keeps readers engaged and eager for more. I particularly enjoyed [Author's Name]'s writing style, which strikes a perfect balance between shock and insight, making each revelation feel impactful. The narrative flows smoothly, drawing you in until the very last page.

Overall, Tempted Vampire is an exhilarating continuation of the series that will leave you hungry for the next installment!.

This is book 2 in the series, they're just not marked as a series on Goodreads yet for some reason.

This is a fantastic sequel to The Rejected Princess. There is significant character development, and a lot of evolution in her relationship with one of the two former love interests. Love interest/ mate number 2 may not be all that he seems- there's some foreshadowing to suggest he may be hiding something. I love all of the new characters we're introduced to on the land owned by MMC's pack. They're so immediately supportive of her despite her lack of being a werewolf- all of her insecurities were wrong! They love her and want her to be with her mate. There's a lot of questions unanswered and plot left open to leave room for a third book, so I do hope there's one on the way!!

The story of Breanna continues. She continues to have trouble with her fated mates and who she will choose. She seems to have issues with who to trust and keeps going back and forth. I cannot wait to see what happens, why Breanna is human, what it means and who she picks!

The constant twists and turns will definitely have you turning pages fast to find out!

Loved it!
This is a great sequel and I can’t recommend the series enough! It has a little bit of everything and it’s all blended together perfectly. Plenty of action, romance, and mysteries that keep you completely immersed and needing to know what happens next! Ends with a big cliffhanger so be ready to get the next one as soon as possible!

This story races along and does not letup until the end of the book.
There is still plenty of intrigue and Breanna doesn’t know who to trust from one scene to the next.
This is a rollercoaster of a ride and kept me guessing. A great read!

Tempted Vampire (Book 2 of The Eternal Queen series) by MJ Penn is a paranormal romance novel. What a delicious and twisted novel. I found my self turning my head constantly back and forth constantly as the FMC had some major life decisions to make. I admit ones I am sure I would struggle making. The plot was super intriguing with interesting characters and world development.

Anna is a dark and an interesting character. We learn more about her past and the kingdoms in the book and honestly her in general. She constantly is switching up who she wants to be with, leaving us hanging with who her mate is. Both would be a good choice so I do understand the difficulty.

I can not wait for the next. I definitely became engrossed in this book and plot.
