The thrill of ending the lives of the sick and depraved courses through my veins like liquid heat. But when I catch a glimpse of the woman who speaks to my darkness, the demons forever chanting in my head grow silent and the monster roaring within me is tamed. But she’s a thief and a liar. A daring rebel waiting for her opportunity to take what doesn’t belong to her. And I’m a man intrigued by her persistence to play a game she’s destined to lose.
She’s distracting and stubborn. And I’ve never wanted something more than I do her.
ALORA
Alora is my name, and stealing is my game. Until I walk directly into the line of fire and am forced to face the consequences of my actions. I feel his eyes on me wherever I go, watching my every move. Running would be the wise thing to do, and it’s what I’m best at. But with limited resources, I’m stuck between the evil that lurks around every corner and the desire he disturbs within me.
Should I face the danger head-on? Or turn my back and run?

When I say I've been waiting for Liam's book ever since I've read Written in Stone IVE BEEN WAITINNGGG!!!
Written in Flesh in the 3rd book in the Sweetwater Series and praying its not the last! (Sloane's book when??? hehehe) This story follows an ex navy seal and a petty thief. I never thought id see the day were Liam finds the one for him. He's known for being moody and not known for his words. He's the grump that's only a mush for his girl. If you like a man that fights for his girl and a fmc that doesn't take shit from anyone THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! i mean who doesn’t love an ex-navy mercenary?
Tropes 🌶️ forced proximity 🌶️ blood play 🌶️ dark romance 🌶️ knife play 🌶️8 year age gap 🌶️ touch her and die 🌶️ morally grey navy seals 🌶️ tortured mmc 🌶️ slow burn 🌶️ primal play
thank you to the author A.D. Wilde for giving me access to an early copy!
。・゚゚・Quick Plot・゚゚・。 Alora is a little thief...and that intrigues Liam. The minute she slips a watch off an unsuspecting (albeit deserving) man - he's enthralled. He would go to the end of the universe to make sure she doesn't get away. When Alora keeps showing up in places she shouldn't be, Liam takes matters into his own hands to ensure that his pretty little thief is protected - an added bonus it that means he has more of a reason to deal with the Russians that took his sister & sold her into tr4fficking a while back. Along the way, his monsters realize that her smart mouth may be the only thing that can pull him away from the abyss he's been staring into.
❣ Quotes❣ »"I won't hurt you, Alora. But I will devour you." »"God isn't here, Alora. It's just you and me now." » "...A heart that I've learned now lives outside my body in the form of another human being."
'*•.¸♡ things I liked ♡¸.•*' One of my favorite things about the Sweetwater Series is that A.D. takes her time in building up the characters for you. She doesn't just start naming off people and places and assuming you'll know what or who she's referring to. (Well, if you haven't read the other books in the series, you probably won't..but I digress.) I loved that Alora wasn't instantly all "Oooh, tall attractive man following me, let me be in love immediately!" It was a slow burn. Don't get me wrong, I love a good insta love, but sometimes it's nice to just slow down & squeal at 3 am when the first kiss FINALLY happens.
→ things I didn't like ← At first, I didn't like Liam's personality, honestly. He was very "everything sucks and I'm a mad boi lemme stabbystab bad guys". It seemed like it was too try-hard at the beginning. His personality grows on you and his volatility evens out into something tolerable pretty quickly. Ehh..."evens out" may be a bit conservative. Liam is Liam. He's great.
︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶Summary︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶ Overall, Written in Flesh may have been my favorite of the Sweetwater series...but I've said that about every one of them so far. Each MMC has a different personality and different demons that they battle, but they always have each others backs and do a lot of learning in each book. A.D. Wilde is a great author, and I can't wait to see what comes next! Maybe even Sloane + Mikhail? Hmmm? Hmmmmm?
This compelling book is a beautifully heart-wrenching tale that delves into the lives of its characters. The male main character is portrayed as possessive and obsessive, while the female main character exudes strength and defiance. The story is rife with trauma, and the main characters band together to seek retribution and embark on a journey of healing. The intimate scenes are portrayed with remarkable artistry, adding a layer of complexity to the narrative. Personally, this book rescued me from a period of reading stagnation, and I wholeheartedly urge others to experience its powerful storytelling.

𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: First of all, thank you so much to A.D. Wilde for allowing me to read this ARC 🖤
Well, A.D. Wilde has done it again!! It was SO good to be back in the Sweetwater world! I just love these characters so much! Joel & Stella, Zack & Harper, and now Liam & Alora. Obsessed with this series!!!
Finally getting Liam’s story made me so happy! I loved him in the other books, and always wanted to know more about him. Liam is a dark soul. But he loves hard and protects even harder. All he wants to do is get revenge for the people he cares for, that have been hurt by the evil in the world. Alora, sweet, independent, and a bad ass woman. I loved her character. She was written amazing, and complimented Liam so well! I absolutely ADORED Liam and Alora’s relationship. The banter, the sweet moments, the way Liam protects her from the moment he meets her, until the ending of this book. Both of these characters believe they don’t deserve to be loved, because of their pasts. But throughout this book, they mend each other’s broken pieces, and allow love in, and it’s just beautiful to watch unfold. This book didn’t disappoint, kept me on the edge of my seat, and wanting more I’m so so sad this series is over. Now to patiently wait for Sloane’s book 😉😏
Happy-end garantat!🦋
“Because if there’s one thing I know for certain, it’s that I want to touch every fvck1ng inch of her. I want to reach deep down inside of her and wrap the blackened fragments of my soul around her sweet, delicate one, shielding her innocence from the evil surrounding her.”

⚠️CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS ⚠️ This is a Dark Romance and it has some very difficult content.
This is book 3 and final on the Sweetwater Series! It is a standalone, but will be better if you read them in order.
What in the name of dark was this beauty? I love, love, loved Liam with ALL of my heart, I had a feeling from book 1 that Liam was going to be the death of me, and man was I right! My dark soul man. AD knows how to write her men, even though all 3 books are amazing this one was my favorite, Oh Liam the things I will do for you, to you 😈😜.
This book is the story of our final man and let me tell you, I am not disappointed, not even a little bit. It follows Liam & Alora. Liam has always have a dark soul, he’s been through so much and he cares so much for those he loves that all he wants is to protect and bring revenge to those they’ve hurt. You will finally learn what happened to him and why he is the way he is, a protector and that’s exactly what he does when he meets Alora, protects her from all wrong, bad people until the very last page of this book. Alora is a simple girl, but so spicy and won’t take sh1t from anyone. She is trying to also get revenge on rich man that don’t deserve anything they have, she might do it the wrong way but she does it, and has been getting away with it for a while, until she steals from the wrong man, which ends to be the same family that Liam has been looking for years.
Alora believes she doesn’t deserve love, just as Liam because of their past, but they couldn’t be more wrong. They fall for each other little by little, page by page, and let me tell you some scenes in here are HOT, there is one if them that had me curling my toes. Liam is all big and macho but OMG is he sweet, I just love him so much. Im calling myself Mrs. Davis from now on.
Thank You AD Wilde for giving us Joel, Zac & Liam, I will forever be grateful for this 3 ♥️😜!
Liam, the last man standing, now has his own story with Alora at his side. "𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙄𝙣 𝙁𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙝" is the third and final book of the Sweetwater Series. It can be read as stand-alone but i always recommend to start with the first one.
𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Both have their own agenda and out for revenge. 𝐿𝑖𝑎𝑚, man with a dark soul but always protective and cares about those he loves. 𝐴𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑎, sweet soul, independent and takes no sh!t from anyone, till she steals from the wrong man. When Liam is haunting the bad guys, he sees her, Alora and that where their path cross and their story beginns.
I was waiting for my dark Liam, their story was so good and well written. A.D didn't disappoint with her third book and i loved it. They both fit so perfectly together but Alora believes she doesn't deserve to be loved and so does Liam but let me say, they are so wrong. And it was great to see the characters from the previous books, too. They were so freaking sweet to Alora and the way how Harper teased Alora about Liam, just hilarious. 😏

Let me just start with how AD never ceases to amaze me. I’ve been on her ARC team since book 1 of this series and each story gets better and better.
We have all begged for the story of the man who carries the loved ones lost home so they can have a proper burial, the man who sits with his switchblade out, opening and closing it. Let me just say I was not disappointed. I LOVED Liam. He carries so much guilt, for his sister, for those they didn’t make it in time to save. He worries for everyone but who worries for him? He’s instantly starstruck by a thieving young woman and his obsessive and possessive alpha male comes out. He doesn’t ever feel the light with the monster begging to escape from inside but with her, he can feel it. I absolutely adored Alora. A father who abandoned her and a mother who fell for the wrong man. When she lost her mom, she ran. I do wish that she was the one who carried out her revenge but she was a little tied up, ifykyk, so I’m happy that Liam had been able to do what she had asked of him. I loved her take no shit attitude, her sassy remarks and rebellious ways.
Now on to Sloane, is it just me or do her and Liam have the friendship of The Hulk and Blackwidow?! The “hey big guy” did me in, I absolutely loved it. I love their friendship!! Now I need her story. And I also need Mikhail!!!

Wow, I think that Liam and Alora have been my favorite Sweetwater couple. Their story is, in my opinion, the best way the Sweetwater series could have came to an end. A.D. could not have done better with this book if she tried. From the banter, to the spice, and all of the tension. Liam and Alora are the couple to beat and while I loved their story so much, I am sad to see the series come to an end. But I know that A.D. will forever be on my auto-buy and auto-read list for all future releases.
Liam is your super broody, bad mood bad boy who starts off just a little intrigued with Alora. And Alora? Feisty. She is a "I don't need anyone, I can take care of myself" type girl who secretly loves to be cared for. This quickly turns into a "You're mine" situation, that let's be honest, we all live for in books but would be terrified to have in real life.
Gah 🤗 You guys, I’m still reeling. Let me start by saying I was nervous about this one. Having been a fan of Liam from the second he was introduced, I had high expectations for his story, which isn’t always a good starting point because it often leads to disappointment. But I should’ve known better than to doubt the incredibly talented A.D. Wilde, because she’s never once let me down. Liam was everything I wanted and more. Dark, tortured and mysterious - all alphahole on the outside, but gentle giant on the inside. He carries so much guilt for those he couldn’t save, torturing himself as much as the evil criminals he captures. He needed a fierce and compassionate counterpart. Someone to challenge him and tame the monster within. Alora was just that. A kickass heroine who gave him a run for his money. The banter was impeccable, the spice was spicing (God, that first scene in the Champagne room made me feel some type of way 😳🥵), and the plot was fast-moving and so intriguing. I loved every second of this book and didn’t want it to end. Highly recommend!
Liam has been looking for his sister’s kidnappers for years and he is so close. He knows once they are all wiped out, the monster inside of him will be at peace.
Alora is a woman who is trying to make all the evil men pay (the ones who hurt women), by stealing from them. She never stays long in one place and trying to find her peace.
Liam always seems to find Alora in the places he is close to finding his enemies. Then he starts to follow her around town to see if she is a threat or not. While he is doing this, Alora gets herself in a bad situation that Liam has to save her.
Such good banter, she has a smart mouth, so spicy and I almost cried.
Love this book so much!!! Check your TW! This is a dark book!
This is the third and final book in the Sweetwater series. Alora has spent her life running from her past. Stealing from the rich, she has found a sense of justice donating what she steals to those who are in need. When she steals from the wrong person, Alora finds herself in the protection of Liam, whether she wants it or not. With danger around every corner, Alora must decide if she should stay with the monster she knows or keep running like she always has.
I really loved this series and I’m so glad Liam finally got his happy ending! I really loved Alora’s sassy character and I felt that their personalities worked so well together! I enjoyed this storyline a lot and I’m sad that this is the end of the series. I can’t wait to see what A.D. Wilde puts out next!
HELLO LiAM! he is the deranged golden retriever i’ve been looking for since diesel from DoV. (iykyk)
alora has always been a runner & liam will chase her to the ends of the earth. i couldn’t put this one down. definitely my most anticipated read & AD did not disappoint. liam did what i wanted him to do. honestly, there could’ve been more killing (never too much killing when there’s so many nasties in the world)
this is the last book in the sweetwater series. i would 1000% recommend this series, zak was my favorite alpha-hole from this series.
🦋: I’ll happily worship the ground you walk on, sweetheart. Until my last breath and beyond. 🦋: A heart that I’ve learned now lives outside my body in a form of another human being. Because that’s what Liam is — My heart. My soul. My everything.
AD Wilde has done it again, if your a fan of spice, possessive touch her and die men then this is for you. This is the third outing for the sweetwater series and Alora and Liams tale. The chemistry between theses two was on fire, Alora countering his possessiveness with pure stubbornness and sass. I didn’t think anything could top Harper and Zak’s outside care action but the Alora and Liams jaunt in the woods sure gave it a run for its money.
Wow!!! I love this series and the couples in it but I think Liam and Alora are my new favourite....
Alora, she is so fiesty and I love it. She is intelligent, definitely has black cat energy, beautiful and to top it off, she does some naughty things but for a good reason.
Liam, our big and beautiful SEAL. I am so glad that I was able to see how Liam truly ticks. It's evident that he harbours alot of guilt from what happened in the past. He does care for the one's he loves and is so overprotective. I think it's really cute that Sloane and him share a special kind of bond, similar to siblings but not siblings.
When Liam first sees Alora, he is captivated with her. She is so fiery and Liam loves that about her. Alora, on the other end, thinks that Liam is so beautiful but isn't very trusting of men and attempts to keep him at arms length. Alora soon realises that she is caught up in something that is so much darker than she originally thought and Liam is there to protect her.
I really love Alora and Liam. Alora brings out a softer side to Liam that was possibly forgotten. Alora has feelings for Liam but Alora's walls are high. Liam is conpletely obsessed with everything Alora. His family knows that he's in love with Alora but doesn't know how to approach the subject.
Things go from bad to worse when Liam's past comes back to haunt Liam, Alora and their friends. Will Liam be able to save Alora???
Written in Flesh is full of so many dark twists and turns. Please check your triggers warnings as this story is very dark.
I am trying to be very vague, as I want you to experience this story for yourself. It's so worth it!
To say that I love this series is an understatement. From the world building to the characters, it's amazing!
I can't wait for Sloane's story, we all know how strong Sloane is and I know her story is going to be explosive 🤯🤯🤯
Thank you so so much to AD and your beautiful team for giving me the chance to read this story and be apart of your ARC team. I truly appreciate it 🙏 All opinions are honest and my own 🩷

Damn I knew when I read Liam's story it was going to hurt but I didn't realize it will hurt this much. Written in Flesh is the 3rd book in the Sweetwater Series and where you don't necessarily have to have read the first 2 books it does help to understand the mission and side characters if you do. Plus, you won't spoil anything for yourself if you read it in order.
Liam has always been a hard ball since he was a SEAL. But once his sister was taken years ago, he changed into a man that will do anything to protect the ones he loves as well as seeing and doing things no one should ever have to. As much as Liam seems like a big scary dude, he's really like a teddy bear that just needs to warm up to you. His possessiveness may be a little over the top but with Alora it seems to be the perfect blend. Alora didn't come from the greatest background. She created a name for herself by stealing but in a modern-day Robin Hood kind of way. She does bad to do good. What started off as stalker vibes between these two quickly turned into something more incinerating in no time. They went from protector and charge to fairy tale endings.
As much as I loved Zak's story, I just knew Liam was going to take the number 1 spot instantly. WIF pulls on your heart strings in several directions and keeps you intrigued until the very end. And of course, A.D has to throw in those plot twists that just have you screaming excuse me WHAT. It was great reading about the other Sweetwater men again and their woman and what they have been up to lately. You can really tell they have a family bond that is unbreakable and will do anything for each other. I don't think I am ready to say goodbye to this universe just yet. Joel, Zak and Liam will always live rent free in my head. I just think we need a story on Sloane and her little Russian informant now. Hint..Hint...Please!!!
My first by AD Wilde and I guarantee I will be reading the others in the series. Wow, the darkness of this book consumed me from the start until it released me with a smile in the end. This is Dark Security team romance and plenty of triggers, so please check them all. Alora is sassy, witty and fiesty. She does her bit for the society by stealing from the rich obnoxious men and give to the needy. Liam has darkness all over him!!! My goodness was it hot (I think I need help haha). He has an agenda and it's to get revenge for his sisters abduction and trafficking. He works for Sweetwater Security team. They fight the organisation that do things like this aka Mafia, Bratva etc. So when his target is in every place Alora turns up he gets suspicious. He also sees her pick pocketing these men. I loved how he was instantly obsessed with needing to know who she is. Oh the chemistry was burning hot and the slow burn was driving me nuts haha. But so worth it. When Alora's life is in danger there is no playing cat and mouse anymore and she is his to protect and do everything else. 😉 I loved Sloan's character and I really hope she gets a story because I know it will be amazing. Oh the big twist!!! Was a great shock and surprise. Great action, drama, story plot, lots of gore, heated chemistry, found family, knife play, blood play, a lot of steam.
“Don’t ever say another man’s name again while I have my fingers buried in your tight, little c¿nt. Do you hear me?”
“You’re mine, Alora. Mine to eat. Mine to f*ck. Mine to make bleed."
🦋”She’s a venomous little thing, and I’m ill from the lethal dose of obsession she’s injected into my veins.” -Liam🦋

🦋I am terribly sad that the Sweetwater series came to an end? YESS 🥹. But it couldn’t have ended a better way! Liam finally met his match with Alora 😅. They truly are the perfect couple and bring out each other bests & each other’s light in the darkness. In my opinion, this is probably some of the best banter I’ve read!! I didn’t think anything else could top Written in Blood, but this now my favorite in the Sweetwater series.
✨Just some of my favorite lines/convos 😅✨ 🩶”What are you doing out here alone?” “Burying the body of the last guy who crossed me,” she snips out. The attitude on this woman.” -Liam 🩶 “And your balls are within kneeing distance.” -Alora 🩶 “HQ. Wow. Sounds official. Think he’s pissed about your Michael Meyers impersonation?” -Alora 🩶 “She wanted to know if you still have the lucky underwear you used to wear around base camp when you were training.” && “You know … the ones with the little yellow smiley faces on them.” Alora 🩶 “I’ll happily worship the ground you walk on, sweetheart. Until my last breath and beyond.” -Liam
I received this book as an ARC and it was everything I could have asked for in a final book of the series. It tied all three stories up into a nice bow but left room to continue other characters stories along the way. I was most excited for Liam’s book bc he was the quiet one in the room and I couldn’t wait to learn more about him. He melted my heart with how much he cared for the ones he loved and how much restraint he had. I think Alora is the perfect match for him in every way. She is the light to his darkness. This was a slow burn and man did I feel it at times but it kept me wanting to keep reading. The only wish I had was to see more of their dynamics outside of the bedroom. For example a random afternoon where she’s painting and he’s doing whatever Liam does. I wanted to know the characters a little bit more intimately. Overall, this was a great book and the perfect ending to a great series! I highly recommend and can’t wait for more!
Written in Flesh tells us the story of our last and final man in the Sweetwater series, Liam. I have been waiting for Liam’s story since the very first book, he has always been so mysterious and dark 😍 I knew deep down he had a soft side and I wasn’t disappointed to find out that was definitely true. I loved his story. Even though I wish there was more to his story. I feel like there was more I could have learned about him. Alora was feisty and running from some demons of her own. She was always up to facing off with Liam. A fighter in her own way. They were the perfect match. I was so happy to have him get his happy ending like he deserved.
Now I really need Sloane’s story. Her story is going to be my absolute favorite. I can already tell 😍
‼️ Please check for trigger warnings before reading!! ‼️
This is book 3 of the Sweetwater Series and is considered a dark romance so be wary of this and MIND YOUR TRIGGERS before heading into the book! We finally get to see Liam's story and I am SO here for it! This was everything I needed and so much more. Seein the soft side of Liam and how he got through to Alora was amazing. My absolute favorite book of the series! I wasn't sure anything could top what we already had, but low and behold, AD Wilde surprised me yet again!
This book was spicy, full of drama, suspense, and so so spicy. Like I said, it was everything we needed, everything we wanted, and everything we didn't know we needed, plus some!
Thank you, AD Wilde, for the complimentary copy of the book prior to publication, for Liam's story, and for everything you've given us in this series!
Written in Flesh is the third and final book in the Sweetwater Series by A.D. Wilde and I am trying to be brave about it. I have been on this adventure with A.D. since book one so as excited as I was to finally dive into Liam's story...it was certainly bittersweet.
Alora is a little thief with a penchant for running, and Liam is more than willing to chase her. So when Alora's sticky fingers earn her the attention of some very bad men, Liam is quick to take her in under his protection and that is where this story of healing, love, (and lots of very bad men getting their come-uppins) begins.

I had a feeling when I started reading this series that Liam was going to steal a piece of my heart...and BOYYYYY did he! Liam is such a protector and his soul, while he think's its dark and tarnished is so deep and loving. Alora is a fantastic FMC. She, like Liam, thinks that she's not deserving of love but she's fiesty and just absolutely perfect. These 2 don't have insta love, maybe some insta obsession on the big guy's part...but I loved getting to watch them become more and more intertwined and inseparable. Their spice is SPICY, but there's more than spice. AD writes such hot, plot driven books! Honestly, I'm not sure at this point that AD can write a character that I don't fall in love with. I'm so excited to see what is in store for Sloane. She's already kick ass...so her man is going to have to be something truly special!
I feel like I have been waiting for Liam’s book for FOREVER! I am obsessed. Utterly obsessed.
Written in Flesh is the 3rd book in the Sweetwater Series. This entire series is absolute PERFECTION. In the 3rd instalment we follow Liam, our dark, moody and haunted ex navy seal and our beautiful FMC is Alora, a badass petty thief who is stubborn and feisty. This book takes us on a JOURNEY! It’s hot, dark, nail bitingly tense, beautiful, tragic and just utterly perfect.

What can I say.... I will be owning this whole series in my personal collection.
I loved this entire book. It kept me on edge but yet it didn't let me down one bit. I love the relationship in this book. Every single detail was beyond amazing. Liam and Alora was one relationship I hadn't expected. All my guesses of where this book was going to go and I was dead wrong from the start. I am personally glad I was because no way would my thoughts have matched how well-written this book is.
5 stars overall 5 Characters 5 World building 5 Content/Writing 3/5 on Spice. I am rating that a little lower due to the types of books I read.
Please be aware of the TW page. Also, this is a dark romance and is book 3 in the series. Make sure you read books 1 and 2 first.
It's no secret how much I love A.D. Wilde's books. I've been a fan since I read the first page of this series and this book was just as great as the other two! Her writing is impeccable with characters that I feel like I know, that I understand, even when they go a tad bit off the rails! Liam is the complete hot alpha and Alora is the badass stubborn hottie that attracts his full attention! Ugh, these two and their wit and sass and all the steam!!! Steamy spice for days!! It is safe to say that I am a huge fan of this series and am very sad it has come to an end! Her characters continue to live rent free in my head and I am very ok with that!!! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the final book in the Sweetwater trilogy. It can be read as a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading the other books!!
Definitely check the trigger warnings!
LIAM’S TURN FINALLY! Ugh I love Liam so much! The way AD wrote him…. 😮💨
Alora is perfect for him, but they both don’t think they deserve love, which is obviously not true! Alora takes crap from no one, and Liam has a protectiveness that is unlike anything else! The way they meet… LOVE… the touch her and ☠️… LOVE!
Like the other two books, I DEVOURED this book in one day. AD writes characters that mesh so well together and nothing seems forced or rushed! I can’t wait to enjoy her other books!
