The Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter of the Devil's Handmaidens MC is a Romantic Suspense series filled with drama, a bit of angst, maybe some tragedy, and women who are bad a$$. These characters are flawed, some may be broken. If you're looking for a safe, sweet romance with nice heroes and heroines who are perfect all the time, this is NOT the series for you.
USA Today Bestselling author, D. M. Earl creates authentic and genuine characters while spinning stories that feel so real and relatable that the readers plunge deep within the plot, begging for more. Complete with drama, angst, romance, and passion, the stories jump off the page.
When Earl, an avid reader since childhood, isn't at her keyboard pouring her heart into her work, you'll find her in Northwest Indiana snuggling up to her husband, the love of her life, with her seven fur babies nearby. Her other passions include gardening and shockingly cruising around town on the back of her 2004 Harley. She's a woman of many talents and interests. Earl appreciates each and every reader who has ever given her a chance--and hopes to connect on social media with all of her readers.
With each installment of the Devils Handmaidens MC I didn’t think these books could get any better than the previous book but then this author puts me in my place time and time again. This book was such a page turner!
I love the Devils Handmaidens MC and the way they have formed a family amongst themselves and each story brings another woman front and center. This time is Raven’s story and even though she seems like a fun person on the outside, it’s the inside of her that struggles. Raven had a relationship with Ash that left her heart shattered but now they have their second chance. There are so many secrets, lies and betrayals that made this a book that was hard to put down because I had to see where this author was taking me next.
It is a dark and gritty book but for me it was just right. I am looking forward for more MC books from this author because she kills it every time.
When it comes to the MC world, D.M. Earl has proven herself to be a master in the genre. The Devil's Handmaidens MC series continues to exhilarate readers, presenting tough as nails heroines not afraid to show their softer sides to those men worthy of them. With this latest release, readers are pulled into the suspense and danger of a villainous gang trying to take over a town while continuing to destroy the club standing in their way. Amidst this pulse pounding backdrop is a second chance romance between a woman who for years has been hiding the pain caused by a man hoping for redemption. He's a man teeming with family secrets, who left her behind on the verge of them startling a life together, who's hoping to prove herself worthy of the woman he let get away. With a town and a family caught in the crossfire, readers will find themselves on the edge of their seats while holding on for dear life.
Brenna ‘Raven’ O’Brien came to the Devil's Handmaidens at the lowest point in her life, heartbroken and alone, and found a new family. For years she's hidden that pain away behind humor and laughter, supporting her MC sisters while they find love, as they strive to save other women from physical and emotional pain. As the war with the vile Thunder Cloud Knuckle Brotherhood continues, as the battle lands in their backyard, she finds herself colliding with her past as he tries to prove himself worthy of her this time around. Years ago Ash Sterling had found his reason for living, until on the eve of his HEA, family secrets forced him to leave her behind. He's ready to reclaim her though, if only he can navigate the dangers from his father's legacy and the threats made by the Brotherhood.
This is a raw and gritty tale, one that touches on some uncomfortable topics. The danger from the Brotherhood feels very real, with serious consequences that left lives hanging in the balance. Along with heart pounding action was an equally emotional and tender romance between a couple trying to find happiness the second time around. Their scenes are at times intimate while being balanced with moments of them showing fortitude in the eye of danger. Along with this formidable couple, a pair deserving of their HEA, were the colorful and eclectic couples who've inhabited the series thus far. The costs became much higher with this installment and those who showed up proved their worth in another immensely satisfying story!
Another great book to the series! This one brings Raven and Ashton's story. The author takes you into their lives with a second chance romance with forgiveness and love and kept me reading with all the drama, danger and twists and turns along the way. She does a fantastic job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. It moves fluidly and is a terrific read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.
Wow. This book had some heart breaking moments, but also had some very tender moments. I couldn't put the book down once started.
I loved Raven and Ash together, they have history together. When they are brought back together a lot of truths come out. They always loved each other and find their way back to each other.
This series and its characters are truly amazing. Love each and every one of them. Raven and her sisters both blood and non blood are in the middle of a war. The love from her past comes back into her life and what they all find out has them battling demons they never knew about and the reasons they didn’t have the life they wanted all those years ago.
Raven is the intense and highly entertaining 6th installment in this series. Raven and Ash’s history is complex, and their chemistry is off the charts. I liked how the author built their story and throws them back together, forcing them to confront their past issues in order to move forward. The action, intensity, and emotion leap off the pages. Beware of triggers, and enjoy the ride in this hot MC romance!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The evil that men do. Ash's father was the sum of the earth and I'm sure the rest of his knuckle headed crew are just as bad. I'm glad Brenna gave Ash another chance, they were perfect together, despite the circumstances that kept them apart.
This is this first book I read in this series and I think it would have been better for me if I read the others beforehand. Though the author did try to bring the reader up to speed, there were a lot of characters involved and history that felt missing when I read this. All in all, it was a fast paced story with a seriously dark plot. I would highly recommend reading this series in order.

This book is part of an awesome author and series. I absolutely love this book. This series is about the women being in charge instead of the men. They make the decisions along with the men but it's their decision first. I absolutely love this series and if you have not read anything by this author you are missing out
Raven is the joker of the Devil’s Handmaidens. Always the one that cheers everyone up. Only now her past has came back to haunt her, and on top of that more danger is heading for MC.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I can’t get enough of this series. It just keeps getting better! This addition had lots of action, danger, and suspense.
Boy you better be ready for this book. Everything comes to A head in this book. There's trouble brewing and everyone will be affected. Ash and Raven are trying to find their footing when trouble hits. There's plenty of danger, life threatening events and changes. HEA.
RAVEN is the sixth instalment in DM Earl’s contemporary adult DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC: TIMBER-WOLF MONTANA dark, erotic, MC romantic suspense series-a spin off from the author’s GRIMM WOLVES series/ and interconnected with the multi-authored SALVATION SOCIETY series. . This is rancher Ash Sterling, and Brenna ‘Raven’ O’Brien’s story line. RAVEN can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise throughout.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence and assault, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from several first person perspectives including Raven and Ash, RAVEN follows the second chance relationship between our story line couple. Years earlier, Ash destroyed Raven, leaving a heart broken woman in the process. Fast forward to present day, wherein, Ash is hoping for a second chance but all is not well in Timber-Wolf Montana, and the Sterling family will be caught in the middle of a war not of their making. The Thunder Cloud Knuckle Brotherhood is determined to take control of Timber-Wolf Montana, and taking aim at everyone involved with the Devil’s Handmaidens MC and the family owned Sterling ranch.
The world building continues to focus on the take down of the Thunder Cloud Knuckle Brotherhood, a group of sexist, racist and abusive men who are determined to take control. As Ash struggles to prove he is the man deserving of Raven O’Brien, someone else is targeting our story line heroine, as well as several members of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC.
Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and determined secondary and supporting characters including most of the previous story line couples, as well as both Raven and Ash’s parents and siblings.
RAVEN is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and friendships, forgiveness and love. The premise is dark, complex, gritty and dramatic; the romance is fated; the characters are broken but struggling to heal.
This is the sixth book in the series. They are better read in order. The last book kind of set this one up. Someone from Raven’s past makes a reappearance. She has kept her past separate from the club. Now she is going to have to tell the club about everything that has happened. Sixth years ago Raven thought her life was going to turn out one way and everything changed. Now that person who changed her life is back. Will she let him explain what happened? Ash didn’t want to do what he did but he didn’t see another way. His father turned out to be completely different then the whole family knew. His father threatened Ash’s mother, Raven, and Raven’s sisters. He was trying to protect everyone. Now his mother has told him to tell the truth and let things fall as they do. Everyone’s life has been altered already so they should know why and who is responsible. Turns out Thunder Cloud Knuckle Brotherhood has been hiding out in their town and are making themselves known now. The club has been fighting these guys for a while. Now the club is realizing how close they have been for a while and how many people close to them have been affected by the racist group. Raven will need to decide if she is willing to hear out her ex, then if she wants to forgive him. Most importantly she will need to decide if she wants to open her heart to Ash and try again. A lot of happen over the years. They have both grown and changed. Their families have always been close. Both their families have been affected by Ash’s father and the group his connected too. This book was a wild ride. Raven is the clown of the club. It was heart broken learning all that she has been through all because of a selfish racist man. The whole club is involved in this one more than the others. Everyone is hurt and must push through. Learning that their town is in trouble makes everything worse. I love these ladies and these books are fantastic. Once again, I couldn’t put the book down. I need the next one. Lol. Fantastic job once again D.M. Earl. I highly recommend all of D.M. Earl’s books. She is wonderful author.
Book 6 brings us Raven's story of second chances in both romance and family. Will Brenna and Ashton find their way thought the forgiveness as they fight for family land, help and savour for the innocents caught in the crossfire while trying to take down the brotherhood? Be ready for a crazy onslot of emotions, and not all good. Some parts are going to be hard to read and likely triggers for some.
Raven struggled heartbroken after Ash broke her heart on the night of her engagement, pulling away from her family and going to a pretty dark place. Finding her chosen family in the Devil's handmaiden's has helped her heal and she has slowly worked her way back to her blood family. But her heart has never truly healed. She has been watching all her sisters slowly finding their other halves and silently wishing for the same happiness. Though she never expected Ash to show back up at her door.
Ash is living his dream of farming the family land that he grew up on. What everyone doesn't know are the secrets of the family, held closely. The father that has been dictating their actions for way to long. As secrets are revealed and the family rallies to take back their lives and property from the monster they once called Dad. With all the secrets being revealed, he finds himself doing everything he can to get back the one that got away.
Is there a chance for Raven and Ash to have the life they dreamed of? Will they save those poor women and children from monsters of the brotherhood? Can they get through this next fight without loosing too many lives?
A fantastic addition to a great series of strong women who are doing everything they can to make a difference and be a staple in recovery and recreation for many.

I have been waiting for D.M. Earl to give us Raven's story since the 1st book and it's finally here with book #6 from her Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, MT Chapter. And I have to say I was blown away by the history of her past. I definitely didn't predict anything like it was. Years ago Raven was engaged to be married and was blindsided when Ashton Sterling her fiance called the wedding off and left their engagement party with another girl. Raven has since been living with a broken heart and putting all her energy into working for the club with her computer skills. In this book, we finally get to see Raven show her emotions instead of just her jokes and it really opens her up and fully shows all sides of herself. Ashton has been hiding lies and secrets for years now along with his family to protect them. The last thing he wanted to do was leave Raven but he didn't have a choice. When his brother saves Raven's sister the secrets can't stay hidden anymore. His family needs help and there is only one place to get it - the Devil's Handmaidens MC. The club agrees to help his family and he decides it's time to get his girl back. I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I loved how Raven and Ash finally connected again and fought their mutual enemy side by side for once. I always knew there was something deep that Raven struggled with and hid it with her jokes. A few things also come to light or are hinted about something bigger to come. Only the strongest love for each other can help them finally move forward instead of back and survive all they are up against together. Wildcat's book is next and I can't wait for this one! *I received this book for free. I voluntarily gave an honest review.*
The Devil's Handmaidens IT guru has hidden behind her sense of humor for years. She has always hidden her true feelings by making jokes and harassing her "sisters". When her past shows up at her front door her life is turned upside down once again.
Brenna "Raven" O'Brien was very happy with her life until she wasn't. She found herself in a dark place until she came across Tink, Glory, and Shadow who gave her a chance to find herself out of the darkness. Now she has to face her past and help her town clean up the danger and destruction that has been happening for years.
This was another great story in the Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter of the Devil's Handmaidens MC, and it was an emotional ride. Raven has more to overcome than her past, she has to fight for her sisters, her town, and her future before she loses too much.
I loved this story. I loved all of the Timber-Ghost Chapter stories, but I think Raven's story really tore my heart out. Raven and her family has dealt with a lot, but so has Timber-Ghost, Montana. When Raven learns a truth about her past she'll find that she needs to make peace with it and move on or she will lose so much more. I can't wait to read Wildcat's story next, it looks to be another emotional roller coaster of a ride, but I'm here for it.
Another outstanding read in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series. Raven is a part of The Timberghost, Montana chapter. She has found peace and an extended family with her MC sisters. Don’t get me wrong she is close with her blood family, who all live close by, but events from her past have kept her guarded and lonely. But when Asher, her past heartbreak, shows up at her door trying to explain his actions years ago, it starts a steamroll of events that will have you on the edge of your seat. The storyline is intense. Ms. Earl takes us readers on a ride full of deceit, vengeance, drama, action and devastation. But she doesn’t stop there. It is also a storyline full of hope, love, dedication and 2nd chances for more than just Raven.
My heart broke at times but boy when the mending came did my heart and emotions ever soar. I can’t recommend Raven’s story enough. In fact if you love MC romances I Highly Recommend all the Devil Handmaidens, Timber-Ghost, Montana books. They can be read as standalones but they do overlap so I suggest starting with Book 1, Tink. From Book 1 to Raven book 6, they are all truly outstanding.
This story had non-stop drama from beginning to end: intense suspense, heartbreak, secrets coming to life, forgiveness, pain, suffering, and more than a few twists and turns that we did not see coming that blew our minds.
The characters were awesome as always. We love those Devil Handmaiden sisters and those Intruder men we have a soft spot for Avalanche that man is something else and one of my favorite characters right after Shadow.
This story is all about surviving and healing and second chance and about family sticking around for the good bad and the ugly with the family you were born into and the ones you chose to call family.
As serious and heartbreaking as the story was we managed to smile and laugh a time or two. What a heart-pounding read that kept you on edge the entire and engrossing enough not to be able to put the book down until every last page was read.
We are so glad we found this author her stories are always a win-win for us and she never disappoints. If you have not read this series yet you are missing out especially if you are a lover of MC Romances this series is fantastic and so is Raven and Ashes's story.
Raven is the IT nerd who uses humor to keep the broken pieces of herself hidden, and it all went back to the day that Ash broke her heart. These days she's found her place in the Devil's Handmaidens MC, but her past (Ash) has come back to mess with her. He finally fesses up about why he did what he did because he's never been the same either, and he's making it known to all when everything comes to light that he's not letting her go again. Of course he has a tough task ahead of him because she's not so excited to open her heart again, but there's a lot more going on that will take center stage. Their past has a ton to do with what trouble the Handmaidens are dealing with so things get very hairy quickly. There's a ton of action at this point as our girls aren't about to let anyone get the jump on them but the danger is very real, and the twists are definitely coming in hot. D.M. Earl keeps rising higher with each new book in this series, and I for one, cannot wait for more! I couldn't get enough of Raven so I ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is the 6th book in this amazing series, and this is Brenna / Raven and Ash’s journey. Raven is the IT specialist in the all-female MC, and when her sister comes back into her life, she knows the only man who can help her seek the justice her family needs, is Ash, the man who shattered her heart. Ash has loved Brenna all off his life and will do whatever he must to repair the damage he caused. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, trust issues, dark secrets, drama, angst, tragedy, danger, suspense, intrigue, humor, witty banter, loyalty, justice, healing, intense chemistry, second chances, passion, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, unpredictable, haunting, twisted, and steamy thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Brenna "Raven" O'Brien is the tech person for the Devil's Handmaidens MC and will do anything for her chosen family. Coming face to face with the man who destroyed her Ash Sterling, but the secrets he holds will change everything for everyone around her. Wow, this story blew me away. D.M. Earl covers such hard topics but never are they sensationalized. I cried for the pain these women faced and the bravery of their struggles. I love this MC family so much, they are truly a family and will do anything for each other. This story is full of drama, excitement, action, romance, lost loves, new beginnings, abuse, evil among us, but most of all it is about family and community. I highly recommend this author, series and book. These women are so strong and amazing.
Raven is book 6 in the Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost Montana Chapter written by the amazing author D.M. Earl. This is Brenna 'Raven' O'Brien & Ashton 'Ash' Sterling second chance romance story. Can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for better understanding of all of the characters involved. The story line is dark, lots of action, drama, danger, evil, secrets, lies, betrayal, vengeance, power, second chances and love. NO SPOILERS!! Go Buy The Book! D.M. Earl has done an amazing job writing this stories. I LOVE ALL the Devil's Handmaidens!

As far as Raven is concerned, there are no second chances. Ash burned his bridge and bridges by any other men. But then blood family trouble changes things. She still has feelings but doesn't want to be hurt again. But she has to act.
Ash wants her back. He'll do whatever it takes Including protecting her and hers. The two are another couple match for two MCs working to rescue abused and trafficked people. Part of a series with a good storyline, characters -good guys & bad, plenty of steam, and intrigue to keep the reader glued to the pages,

This is a new to me author who will keep me coming back. This is the forat book I have read from this series and I am very impressed. This series is about a female MC. Raven os theor IT person. In this story someone from jer past returns and can turn her life upside down, however Ash is the only one who could help her. The situation she finds herself in. Will she be able to get over the pain Ash caused her in the past and give him a second chance? Will he be able to protect and help her? You will be kept on the edge of your seat. Best to read the books in order. I will be going back to read the rest of the series.

The Thunder Cloud Knuckle Brotherhood is pretty active in causing mayhem in this book. Raven finds out the reason her fiance dumped her had to do with his father being a member and threatening her if he did. Even knowing why Ash did what he did, Brenna is finding it hard to jump right back into a relationship with him. She lost more than just him and is hesitant to open herself up again.
There is a lot of focus on the Brotherhood with this story.

This was Raven and Ash’s story. Ash Sterling has loved Raven his entire life. He'd do anything to repair the broken heart. But Raven's pain runs deep, and her pride won't be crushed again. But, when her sister comes back into her life, and the Handmaiden's realize more danger and darkness loom, Raven knows that Ash is the man who can help her seek the justice her family needs. I love these books and can't wait to read about the next group of characters. Raven is no different along with her friends and family. I love that with every book you get to hear so many different perspectives. This was a definite page turner with wonderful characters. It was nice to see a different side of Raven and also learn about her past. I look forward to seeing what the next chapter for her and her family looks like.

Let me start with saying I LOVE the Devil's Handmaidens! There's nothing about these women and their stories that I don't like. Raven and Ashs great second chance story is no exception. Make sure to check the trigger warnings if triggers are an issue for you. There's plenty of drama, danger, chaos, twists, turns and betrayal. But there's also lots of love, understanding and forgiveness too. Raven has been a fantastic ride!
