First, I'd like to say thank you to the author! I won this book from the Goodreads giveaway, and it came signed by them. 😊❤️ Thank you!
Second, I really didn't enjoy this book.. I honestly wanted to quit reading within the first few chapters but pushed myself to finish it.
The main characters are supposed to be adults, but the way they talk and act makes it seem like they're teenagers, if not younger. The dialog was cringe. There was a lot of caps and exclamation marks used. This makes it seem like they're yelling and overly excited throughout most of the book. It just seemed really immature for grown adults, in my opinion.
Some things just seemed to be thrown together, and some parts could have used more details, information, etc.
I think the story itself could have been really good. It just wasn't put together well.

Book 2 in the Such a Boss series continues Jessika Klide's cornucopia of hot billionaires. Blaze is a successful tattooed baseball bad boy who knows what he wants. Summer is a bridesmaid in her best friend's wedding who gets more than she bargained for.
Summer Breeze's best friend, Jenny, is getting married and she promised her there is no amount of bad luck that will prevent this wedding from going off without a hitch. Summer is tasked with scouting out a new venue after the first one burned down and where she ends up is at her teenage crush's home in Montana. A few drinks of his specially made whiskey and her liquid courage kicks in ending in a hawt night of long-awaited sex and finally facing their feelings for each other. Too bad they have to keep their relationship a secret from everyone. Yeah, that's a failure.
Blaze Malone's brother Brandon is getting married and Blaze has offered his ranch as their wedding venue. He has always loved Breezy and when she appears unexpectedly at his home he sees his brother's plan and he goes with it. After all, it's time to express his feelings, but it's going to have to wait at Breezy's request. That's better said than done.
I don't know why they took so long to act on their feelings, but it was well worth the wait as they make up for lost time. Blaze is humble and content as he doesn't let baseball define him. He considers it a job and is at peace that he won't play it long-term. He is so sure of his love for Summer that his whiskey slogan is dedicated to her ("Its kiss is as smooth as a summer breeze"), and his bar franchise contains photos of both of them at a pivotal moment in their lives. Summer is definitely in love with Blaze, but she needed to have a little more faith in that instead of hiding it from her friends. In the end, they can't hide a love like theirs for too long and that wedding dance was a dead giveaway.
If you love sexy cute romances filled with laughter, fun, and adorable ponies, give this book a try.

This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Blaze and Summer’s story. Blazi is a tattooed pro baseball star and bad boy, while Summer is determined to help her bestie have the wedding of her dreams. Blaze is the groom’s younger brother, and he offers his Montana ranch as a venue for his wedding. Summer is Jenny, the bride’s best friend, and bridesmaid, and is roped into assisting with her wedding planning. When Summer arrives at the ranch which belongs to her teenage crush, it does not take long for things to heat up. This is a well written story which has family, friendships, drama, secrets, romance, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This was a fun short and Steamy read. Blaze and Summer have known each other forever and when his brother and her best friend are getting married on his ranch let the fun times begin. These two have undeniable chemistry that is off the charts . Things changed for him a while back at a baseball game. This one day changed everything for him and how he wanted to live his life. Summer struggles some as she doesn't want to cause problems with their friendships. I absolutely loved his grand gesture to show is love for her. This book has so many fun moments once you start ready you wont be able to put it down. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Big Booze Boss by Jessika Klide is the story of Blaze and Summer (Breezy). He’s a major league baseball player…a catcher…who is out due to an injury. Blaze and Summer's story is breathtakingly hot, with chemistry that nearly burned my e-reader, yet heartwarming with the perfect fairy tale ending.
I loved this sweet and sexy romance with its true-to-life characters, lighthearted fun, deep feelings, and sensual touch that only Ms. Klide can provide.
I devoured this story, even though it had one tiny flaw .... it ended wayyy too soon, LOL.

This is a quick read with tons of spice between Summer and Blaze. I loved the connection, the long time attraction, and the base, long time friendship that they have. Blaze is so sure of what he wants, and that is 100% Summer. Definitely a read to escape into and enjoy!
