Chase& Coffee
One year following the tragic death of his wife, Chase, now a lone parent, continues to bear the lingering memory of her untimely demise, struggling to move on. Twisty and SO GOOOODDDD
This book left me speechless. At first, I was like, "What am I even reading?" But the more I read, the juicier it got. The events in this book really hit home for some people, and some things that happened could even be educational. I loved this read, and I'm telling you, go download it NOW! You won't be disappointed. If book one was this good, I'm definitely going to listen to book two. Oh, and yeah, it's got spice and everything nice! 🤪😉🙃

Chase is MY MAN MY MAN MY MAN!! The way he keep it G while loving his woman is such a turn on! Although as any human he has room to grow, himself. I love how Coffee wasn’t your “norm” she was beautiful imperfections and all! And he not only spoke life into her but she spoke life into him! I loved them together through and through!

Sometimes the road ahead is already laid out for you, whether you’re ready for it or not… and whew, this story really leaned into that. I love a book that builds toward an undeniable connection, and yeah, that might be a tiny spoiler, but let’s be real… that’s why we’re here. 😌
Chase has been through it. Loss that almost took him all the way out, and now he’s pushing forward for the only reason strong enough to keep him standing...his child. His mind is all over the place, his heart is shattered, and he has no clue where to put all that anger and grief. Because if he lets it out the way he really wants to? Baby, the streets would be in shambles.
So when he finds a spot that feels like the perfect way to release some of that pressure, he thinks he’s just there for a distraction… until he locks eyes with this mysterious woman whose whole presence is just too powerful to ignore. Walk, aura, energy...all of it had him hooked, and from that first encounter on, things start spiraling in the most stressful, dramatic way.
And the twists after that?
Had me wanting to yell at my Kindle, throw it across the room, and beg both of them to get it together immediately because CHILE… y’all already know what this is, so why are we playing?! 😭
The ending, though? Super sweet and exactly what my heart needed after all that emotional whiplash. And honestly, when it comes to Tatiana, I’m always pulling up. She lives for emotionally complicated characters with a little bit of unhinged sprinkled on top, and I eat it up every single time.

I loved loved loved Chase and Coffee. I’ve read all the Zoo Boyz and Cove City books but this one is my new favorite. I went back to Chase and Coffee because this was a Bookclub pick for October. I’m not sure how I skipped this one but it’s at the top right next to Chevy. Chase gave Coffee the space she needed to grow but also let her know he ain’t going no where. The heart connection they had was everything. I would really like to see more from them in New York.

There was one time in the story that I wasn't sure about how I felt about this book but then I really dived into the story & realized that it read like an episode of an Urban drama.
Chase & Coffee were a hot couple who had some obstacles that needed to be dealt with before they could fully be together as one. Once that began happening, there was nothing that could stop them from being together.

Emotional!!
Omg Chase thought living was unbearable after his wife Natalie passed away but he didn’t expect to meet Coffee. Coffee was sweet and just trying to survive. Sienna deserved exactly what she got, really deserved more. I love how Gucci and Sky love Chase and Coffee, that’s how friendships are supposed to be. Good read

A Heart knows what it wants!!!
This read was simply BEAUTIFUL! We hear able organ donors all the time, but the way this read detailed an experience of one had me in teary eyed! Mrs. Timmons put her heart and soul into this story! Let’s Get To It!!
Coffee: Can we talk about how I love the name! Being born with a heart condition that caused for a heart transplant has her appreciating life. My girl had her insecurities but doesn’t play about her respect! She did what she had to do to make it while in school. Working at Beaux Layer as Madam Sheba was just a place filler to help her get through Med School, but it was also where she felt more confident. Her man Syeed was a joke who family made him feel he was entitled. He did know how to love her nor how to be a man. Coffee love who she was outside of Beauex but with her birthmark on her face made her feel like she wasn’t beautiful. That slightly changed when she decided to pick her a side gig as a nanny and she met Mr. Chase himself.
Chase: He is that ninja!! He was a menace, part of GOLA and played no game. As a single father with CJ he did his best with raising his son and being a menace in the streets. But his heart was cold and been that way since his woman Natalie/CJ mom was taken away from them. After losing her, he step back from that life to grieve and raise his son. However a man is a man and has needs! When he decided to visit Beaux he went for release but ended up being attracted to Madam Sheba but immediately gave her the name Nemo-😂🥰! Deciding to go back to the streets he needed a nanny for CJ and that’s when he met Coffee! He was very rude but she shut that down quick, but what got him was CJ reaction to her! With that and the way she demanded her respect she became a part of his world. Ad time went on the similarities of Nemo and Coffee started to surface! Listening the connect between Chase, Coffee and CJ is like no other and has me teary eyed through out this read.
Sienna: Babygirl here was just trying to make it and provide for her daughter, however, as time went on she allowed jealousy to play a part. Dealing with her trifling and abusive baby daddy, she found herself looking for that come up with the next man-Chase! As time goes on she starts seeing where Chase attention was and after Quan did what he did to Coffee to met his dismissal she became bitter. Why my girl try to sleep with my guy - 🫣! Ole girl wrote a check her ssa couldn’t cash!
Listen I recommend this read to everyone! It was everything! Tatiana, Queen you have yet to disappoint!

The Plug & The Doctor
ChasingCoffee!!!!!!!!!!!! This was good and I mean real good. My poor Chase, losing LeeLee was hard for you but you pushed through. Who would have thought trying 1 new thing was gonna take you on a journey you wouldn’t forget. Coffee, you were the such a beauty despite what people had to say about your birthmark being in your face. I loved and hated that you didn’t see just how incredible you were outside of being at Beaux’s. But make no mistake you were that girl and you didn’t have to look like other girls to be her. Chase met Nemo and tried his hardest to not want her despite the connection and pull he felt towards her. Chase met Coffee when she was hired to be his son’s nanny and they built a friendship that slowly became more. Chase could never understand CJ’s pull/bond to Coffee but he welcomed it because LeeLee was gon and Coffee was really good with CJ, only to find out why he really was so attached to Coffee. It was beautiful. The ties that Chase and Coffee had before they even could become sexual was everything to see and watch. Syeed deserved everything that he got because he was sick af. Sienna I couldn’t even feel bad for you because like Chase realized, you were a user and despite how he help you and fixed your situation, you let jealously and envy cost you everything. I pray you get what’s coming for you cause you couldn’t leave well enough alone. The connection!!!!!!!!! The connection/soul tie that Chase & Coffee had…. OMG I don’t know if I’d ever want one so strong and deep BUT it was incredible to see theirs. When NY came into play baby was I read to throw my kindle, because ain’t no way we came this far and this happens. I’m intrigued to see where this is going to go because I can see Sienna being a problem but after what both Chase and Coffee has been through they deserve to have this bond that they’ve built and they deserve the love they have with each other. Chase and Coffee, The Safety of Love
Talk about soul ties!!!…This book had me all in my feelings & reading as this both Chase and Coffee maneuver through this thing called life, while trying to hide from it in the same breath!!!…
Coffee did not see the beauty in her self as some of those around her were more comfortable trying to tear her down!!!…
I was happy that they both discovered who the other person was and although Chase struggled, I knew he was not going far because he had already fell in love!!!…
Sienna was doing was too much and for her to want sympathy for Coffee about her daughter’s father, after finding out what he did to Coffee was crazy!!!…Coffee did far too much for Sienna and she was living in her old apt rent free!!!…She kept asking what they were going to do as if he helped her!!!…
Chase was cutting no corners when it came to Coffee and was making sure the ppl that hurt her knew that!!!…
Sy irritated my whole soul and had the audacity to be angry that Coffee was okay without him!!!…He found out real quick that he was the unlucky and unloved person!!!…
I can’t wait to see what is next for Chase and Coffee!!!…CJ made me smile when he kept calling Coffee mommy, I knew she was the recipient of his mother’s heart!!!…The icing on the cake!!!…

Chase and Coffee was amazing read. it is interesting because I read this book before I knew who Tatiana was. Someone told me about it. I never connected the dots until recently.
I gon back and re-read it. I now understand when Tati talks about how Chase and Chevy have similar characteristics.
Love comes from anyway. You never know who you will fall in love with. Life takes you down a path when you think you have it all mapped out.
Coffee may have a scar physically, but emotionally and mentally, she was a beautiful woman. We tend to look at the physical side of a person but never get to know the real person. Coffee was very green with knowing who her true friends were. Once she was able to achieve confidence, Coffee was able to blossom into a beautiful woman. She gained extraordinary strength.
Chase was a menace, but once he met and opened up to Coffee. He became a teddy bear for Coffee and his son. I love how he helped her grow while learning to love again. It wasn't easy loving someone after he lost his wife. The grief process can be rough.
I was glad that even though they went through several issues. They were able to find each other. They had to see that everyone didn't want them together. Coffee found out someone who she thought was a friend turned out to be jealous of her. Chase also found out that people that he kept around were not good.

I’m not going to step on this authors work but it wasn’t for me. I know Coffee had low self esteem but to continuously have her think of herself and referred to as ugly had me so annoyed. Like, we get it. She has a birthmark on her face. When Sienna’s no good boyfriend called her ugly I had dah enough…but I kept reading! Then he shoved his fingers in her…ok assault,but I can handle that…but where was her outrage towards Chase when he finds her at the hotel balled up in the shower? Because let’s face it, he had no real reason to be THAT upset and angry at her. She outside his door crying and begging for him. He sends her away and she is assaulted by her friend’s boyfriend…and then when Chase finds her, they are ready for sex???😒 Not to mention…the cover doesn’t give what this story was giving.

Coffee wanted something but never knew it would be Chase! Recoding from a heart transplant, working jobs to get through med school Coffee is doing it all but never to imaging her night job would have her run into so,done captivating, sexy, demanding and maybe the alpha male she is wanting.
Chase is missing his beloved Natalie and his son C J is right along his side. When his friends Gucci and Skymsay enough is enough he goes to an adventurous place that land him in Nemo’s lap, literally!
The new babysitting gig for Coffee has her thinking twice especially when she and Chase put 2 and 2 together! Loved the rawness of this story!

Chase is the man. He’s a father, protecter, and he’s also ruthless when it comes to protecting the ones around him. Coffee is his soul mate, med school, and Nemo. But most she’s his peace. Their souls are combined in such a unique way. They can feel each other emotions even when they are not near each other. I really enjoyed this book and can not wait to see what happens in New York!

I love Chase down!!! His connection with Coffee was definitely spiritual. I figured out how Natalie's demise was going to come before it and I figured out about that organ. That added a special touch. That's why CJ was so comfortable with her. You know the connection is strong when you can communicate without words and not even be in the same vicinity. I need part 2 bc I know they are about to take New York by storm. And what will come of Sienna & Kira? Tatiana you did your thing in this book!!

emotional but great
This story was amazing start to finish. As a Tatiana fan, this piece of writing was unlike anything I’ve read by her before. I read this book in a day, it had me hooked. I love how Coffee was a woman who struggled with her insecurities but also wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. Sienna was the worst type of friend. A true snake in the grass and I was so glad when Coffee cut her off. I loved everything about Chase, he was the definition of a provider and not just in the financial sense but he offered protection and a safe space. This was hands down a great read

This one was very emotional!
The connection Chase had with Natalie was deep, but the one with Coffee was earth shattering! They say everyone has a soulmate, and in this novel it was truly shown. Siena was a trip and received her karma along with Quan and every other person who brought harm to Coffee. Baby Chase attached to her from day one, did his little heart know too? Just a emotional thought provoking read! Great job Tatiana Timmons!!
The connection Chase had with Natalie was deep, but the one with Coffee was earth shattering! They say everyone has a soulmate, and in this novel it was truly shown. Siena was a trip and received her karma along with Quan and every other person who brought harm to Coffee. Baby Chase attached to her from day one, did his little heart know too? This story was NOTHING like I thought. I am truly happy for Coffee. Glad she is able to get the one thing that she was striving for. She and Chase did make an awesome couple. I was wishing for a different ending. More on her having Natalie’s heart and her now having Kira.

I enjoyed Chase and Coffe story! I loved how strong there connection was every since they met at Beaux’s. I loved how he fell for her first and even when they were apart he still looked out for her. Chase was a gentleman but a gangster I loved that he would kill for Coffee! I’m happy they hit the happy ending but anxious to see what happens next.

First read by Tatiana and babbbyy!, I loved every minute of this story. The way I cried and prayed for Coffee to win! Chase is the man! And new book bae! I’m so glad he got it together and was everything Coffee needed in the end. As a Nurse Practitioner with a Cardiac Critical Care background this read was special to me! I will be tapping in to her entire catalog.

This book gripped me by my edges from start to finish. Chase and Coffee were the couple that I didn’t know I needed. I wanted so badly to be mad about his wife passing but this man got a love he never would’ve experienced had they not happened. He and coffee had so much trauma separately that I didn’t know how it was going to end. I’m so happy read this story.

Chase and Coffee's story is so beautiful and well written! From one chest to another that heart created a soul tie that couldn't be denied. If you have read the GOLA series you have to read Chase's story! You will cry a lot and laugh but it's worth it

Tatiana now girl, Chase defiantly redeemed himself. His connection with Coffee was so beautifully written. Now I can dig into these scenes, which had me questioning myself. The ending was so beautiful.
