In a career spanning 60 years, he wrote over 100 books, both novels and works of non-fiction, including biographies of other fantasy authors. He was a major figure in science fiction in the 1930s and 1940s.

A three book omnibus from a series of omnibuses intended to give readers a feel for older authors out of print. I've never read any from this particular author before, so I gave him a chance. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either, kinda meh in my opinion. Probably I won't pursue other books by the author.
