This was such a cute friendship and love story!! It was really addictive and I loved the characters. Gabi and Chris were truly perfect for each other and their chemistry was really showing. The story goes back and forth in time and I found their obliviousness actually funny because it was so evident they loved each other and everybody else could see it but them!
Stephanie hooked me up to read contemporary romance more often and especially her other work. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store!
Thanks to the author for the ARC and I’m looking forward to read her other books.

Stephanie's books have been on my TBR for a while and I'm so happy that I got this ARC because it couldn't be a better start!
This is one of the cutest books I've read. I loved all the flashbacks that showed us all about Chris and Gabi's story and helped us to understand their actions and their feelings for each other. The way Chris was head over heels for Gabi since the day he met her and would do absolutely anything for her was so heartwarming! This is such a cute book and it has definitely become one of my favourite books! 🩵
I haven't read the other books of this series yet but now that I read this one I can't wait to read the previous ones!

Honestly, Stephanie knows how to write a romance book that HOTS YOU HARD AND FAST AND PULLS AT YOU'RE HEART STRINGS! I am obsessed with Chris and Gabi's story so much! I think of them everyday since finishing their book! The most perfect series ever! I think this is my favourite book in the series!

I don't even know where to begin with this book! Like I'm in awe over it and I just love them so so so much!
Gabi, my favourite girl! She's vibrant and hilarious, whilst being a human and having traumas and fears. Such as showing any of her deep harboured feelings to Chris, her life long best friend who she is in love with... but she could never tell him that, because he couldn't possibly feel the same... right?
Chris, our shy and quiet boy who is equally in love with Gabi, since the day he met her when they were kids. Who loves gaming as well as being a game developer in London. But when the distance from Gabi is too much to bear now, he plans an impromptu trip to surprise Gabi and spend the summer with her. Maybe even fall in love with her some more... maybe even tell her? And when they find themselves living together... only time with tell how long it'll take before he'll break.
I adored the flashback scenes between Gabi and Chris from when they were younger. How they cuddled every night because Chris was escaping his home but slowly turning into Gabi's safe space. I HAD THE TISSUES OUT GUYS! The complicated family problems was what made them closer, how Chris would make her playlists for her to listen to, to drown out the noises in the house. How she was scared about telling Chris she was bisexual but he didn't care. He loved her regardless. How he on;y cared about Gabi and Gabi alone.
Gabi and the girls are my comfort! How Madi, Rosie, Leila were Gabi's support system and a band of sisters for her, even if they all had boyfriends, they knew the best way to support Gabi. Those girls are so special and kind and beautiful! Even the boy's and how they are like a band of brothers for her and helping her through tough times.
Chris and Gabi defiently make up for their last four years they were separated! Going to the fair, playing video games, playing their favourite game of truth or dare and spending time together with all of Gabi's friends. Confiding in all that they missed out on, and getting to know each other on some WHOLE other levels... like finding one in the shower fisting himself thinking about his best friend.
And when jealousy and forced proximity force their feelings to surface and surprised love confessions get mixed in... you get some very heartfelt moments and some hot as sin spicy scenes. Good lord who knew the shy quiet boy would love some praising and begging.... GAHHHHHH! They were sweet wholesome and HAWTTTT!
These two have such a unique and beautiful story, about learning to ask for help, accepting oneself, letting love in, becoming each other's safe space and that love always win. Gabi and Chris are now my favourite babies and I will love them till my dying breath! You have to addd this to your TBR! Stephanie is truly a visionary with her books and I do love an interconnected series where it all ties in together!

I really enjoyed reading would you rather, and I think I like truth or dare even more!
gabi and chris’ friendship is the cutest thing ever, and honestly it felt like they were in a romantic relationship from the start, without realizing it. the flashbacks really allowed me to discover how much they know and love each other🥹
I already adored gabi in would you rather, and I love her even more now. chris is the sweetest book boyfriend ever, and he was head over heels in love with her from the start! reading both their pov and seeing that they were completely oblivious to the fact that their feelings were mutual was KILLING ME, but it was worth it!
they’ve both been through terrible things, and it warms my heart to know they have their happy ending. speaking of endings, the epilogue was perfect! I haven’t read the whole series yet, but I love all the characters and I was so happy to get a glimpse into their lives a few years later.
I’d definitely recommend this book if you like childhood friends to lovers, but please check the tw first (and don’t let the cute cover fool you, because this book was definitely spicy!🌶️)

Ok I’ll be real here, the way I was SO MAD at Gabi half the time. She annoyed me a little and Chris was the saving grace, because holy SWEETNESS I loved him.

Friends to lovers isn’t normally my favourite trope, and while I did find myself guessing what was going to happen, I enjoyed it. The mutal pining for each other, OMG. I wanted to bang their heads together and tell them to love each other already. I did love the flashbacks, from growing up and the way we got a look into both Gabi and Chris’s upbringing with their families. I loved how Chris was Gabi’s “safe place”.
I loved seeing the other couples pop up in this one because as whole I’ve loved this series 🥹 Spin the bottle still holds the title of favourite of the series but this was a good one to end it 🫶🏼
I’m giving this 4 stars and one of those stars is simply for Chris 🤭

I like friends to lovers trope but I'm not crazy about it (not in my top 5) but reading this book all I want is more of them. Chris and Gabi are my new favorite couple, their connection is just so pure and beautiful. I love how we get glimpses of their past and we see how their relationship has evolved over the years. On one hand its been the same as ever but has also changed in other ways. I love the secret mutual pining but 10 years! even I was frustrated seeing them go around in circles. Sometimes slow burn kicks booty. I had so many butterflies reading this and I loved seeing them together, loved how after being apart for years their friendship has never changed (we all wish for it, I know I do).
The book focused on some serious issues, like toxic family, childhood trauma etc. I loved that even after everything these two have been through they came out stronger and finally got the ending they deserved. I literally cried my eyes out when they confessed their feelings for each other it was just so dang beautiful. I loved their chemistry and the connection they share, the perfect definition of sweet and spicy. I can't begin to explain you guys how much I love these two together. From now on whenever I will hear someone say soulmates I would immediately think of Chris and Gabi. I loved them healing from their pasts and building this beautiful life together and I hated when the book ended. 🥺❤
If you guys read the previous books in this series, Gabi was the wild child of the group, the party animal and the fun friend but to know her in her book you realize how much people can hide even from their closest friends. She was in love with her best friend and was missing him like crazy but was always happy carefree in front of others. We don't know what is going on in anyone's life or how much they are hurting behind their happy smiling faces. I've have always loved her but in this book I connected to her in a way I can't explain, having felt some of the things she feels it completely changed my reading experience for the better.🥺
On the other hand if I talk about Chris, he was such a nice guy with the sweetest personality. He was the greenest green flag I have ever seen. He was so Intune with Gabi's emotions, always looking out for her and he just had eyes on her since he met her. I loved how he looked after her and protected her even when so much was going on in his life he always always put her first.💚

this was everything !!! if you love the childhood friends to lovers where crossing that line feels forbidden this was perfection. THE PINING !!! just so perfect i’ve tabbed literally every page omg everything they were thinking, this book just made me so happy i was smiling every page. idk what you put in this book but i just couldn’t put it down!! so so so cute i love them so much. still obsessing over all the pr box gifts and now knowing what they all mean is even more special.

🩵 The way I love this book, is insane. I thought the other books had my heart and they do but this one, buried itself in my soul. I love Gabi and Chris so much. Chris is such a sweetheart and Gabi is such a badass. These two complete each other so well. There are so many swooning quotes, it’s so hard to just pick one that you love. I truly fell in love for these characters and their story line. This book was so beautifully written and I was absolute perfection! I was giggling and kicking my feet, I shedded tears, gasping, and squealing. I honestly don’t know if I want to be with Chris or Gabi, all I know is that this book my soul and RAN.

Let me start by saying I ATE this book allll the way up. This book has several parts that had me screaming and kicking my feet 🤭
Truth or Dare is the 4th and final book in the Off Campus Series. In my opinion also my absolute FAVORITE book. This book follows Chris and Gabi💓
Gabi and Chris have been best friends since age 12 and have been inseparable until the day Chris leaves. Four years later Chris shows up to Gabriella’s apartment for the summer. Over the course of the summer Chris and Gabri go from best friends to lovers🥹🤍 The banter and slow burn in this book are to die for. Also both Chris and Gabi are soooooo devoted to each other.🤭
I was sooo grateful to receive this ARC and cannot wait to read what’s next from this author.
Also now I am trying to find a man like Chris for me🤭💓

Truth or Dare is the 4th and final book in the Off Campus Series. In my opinion also my absolute FAVORITE book. This book follows Chris and Gabi💓
Gabi and Chris have been best friends since age 12 and have been inseparable until the day Chris leaves. Four years later Chris shows up to Gabriella’s apartment for the summer. Over the course of the summer Chris and Gabri go from best friends to lovers🥹🤍 The banter and slow burn in this book are to die for. Also both Chris and Gabi are soooooo devoted to each other.🤭
I was sooo grateful to receive this ARC and cannot wait to read what’s next from this author.
Also now I am trying to find a man like Chris for me🤭💓

Cutest read ever!!
You have no idea how much I needed this. Every time I had to stop reading I felt so sad because I just wanted to spend my time reading about Chris and Gabi!! Chris was the sweetest MMC I've read, for real.
Only issue I had was Gabi getting on my nerves in some chapters but, I absolutely adored every interaction they had, every flashback.
I honestly much prefer friends to lovers than anything else, there was so much pinning from Chris's part that I'm just so grateful that we got to read from both of their POV's. They are both so relatable.
Chris is the #1 book boyfriend now.

But overall, the relationship between the two main characters was something else it was literally like a love that you could only dreams about. I love the trop it’s always been you but when it’s done right, it hits completely different and this was done right.
I thought in some aspects the characters were very relatable as the main FMC Gabi She was the only single person out of her friendship group and I can relate to that and just what she said about it and what is like being around them and everything.

ARC received 5⭐️ because I can’t give it a million🥹
It was the most amazing book ever. It literally made me fall in love with friends to lovers and I didn’t like the trope before.
Chris and Gabi’s relationship is amazing. How after everything that happened between them, distance and time they still found a way to each other❤️🩹 The fact that they were super in love with the other for forever and neither one said anything breaks my heart 😭 I loved that it didn’t have a 3rd act breakup because even though sometimes I love the little drama that they give to the book, in Truth or dare it didn’t make sense to have one, they were destined to be with each other and they didn’t even doubt it.
I loved the cameos of the other couples😍 Aiden and Leila will always be my favourites to read about so any little crumbs that I can get about them are well received 🤭
Even though Spin the bottle still is my favourite in the series (sorry I hold it very close to my heart, that book changed my perspective on every thing❤️🩹🥹) Truth or dare is a close second🫶🏻 It was an amazing experience being able to read this book before it comes out. I’m really happy to be able to say that if you don’t like friends to lovers, you’re still going to love this book.

I can’t believe that I have only read the book in 4 days.
4 DAYS!!!!???? I never thought I would adore Best friends to lovers that much!! It’s so worth it since from the beginning! I got so hooked since Chris has ALWAYS fell in love with her! I love the book in fact it was just for the summer…..I felt like I blushed when I read so many cutie scenes! It’s my second ARC and it really made my day!! I love this book so much like you should have seen my giggle and how much I love Gabi! 😭💖 She is so sassy with confidence even if she had her own struggle…..I lover her vibe, how she was so bossy (if you know, you know.) The storyline was so amazing, vibey and totally worth of read…..Side characters which they have their own book are wonderful, I like them so much!! Flashbacks scenes is like watching movies in my head……I find it so cute that how Gabi & Chris developed their friendships through out many years…..like seriously I love best friends to lovers especially when they were kids….I honestly find it so beautiful! AND THEIR SPICE!!!!??? OMG IT WAS SO HOT AND GOOD!!!!! I never enjoyed it so much ! I never thought how much spice it would be…..like wauw! I could read the spice all over again and again!!! 💖😭💯 Stephanie Alves, you have really impressed me! I’m so glad that u got chosen to read your book 4! i had to finish the series for my sanity and if there is this one thing this author does is get me out of a reading slump. but when i tell you there were too many things about this book that pissed me off.
first of all, the whole book was basically the two main leads gaslighting themselves that the other person did not feel the same, BUT YALL GIVE EACH OTHER FORHEAD KISSES, like okay. i can’t have anyone convince me that’s normal because it’s not. second of all when they got together i got so bored, like why are yall muttering “i love you” every five seconds, do something interesting. i don’t know so many things about this book pissed me off, and i had to put it down a lot.
i will say i did enjoy the flashbacks and their friendship the blossomed from it, i think this book had so much potential. yet these adults were really pissing me off, like ugghhhh. however, it did what it was supposed to do and now im out of a reading slump 🤭🤭🤭🤭

WHAT IS THIS MASTERPIECE what kind of crack was laced into these pages oh my goodness I love how bubbly and funny Gabi is i didn't like her at first but I definitely grew to love her!! And hearing her past was so sad and it made me so happy to see her live her truth and not let it hurt her like that anymore and CHRIS CHRIS CHRIS he is hands down one of my favorite Mmc ever He is a nerd UGH and he waited for her all those years bc he ONLY wanted her he didnt even kiss another girl bc he JUST wanted her UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH im dead im gone wtfffffffffffffffff and it is indeed the quiet ones cuz thats SPICE ive been so tired of spice lately bc that basically takes up 85% of a book in romance books lately and thats wack I want TENSION LONGING SLOW BURNNNN and then some spice which this book hit all of those BULLSEYE im not even done with the book yet and im writing this because I have a horrible memory and i didnt want to forget what I wanted to say so hehe love you notes app 😘 and Chris's backstory AWWW MY POOR LIL BABYYYYYY I didnt stop this book for nothing I haven't been hooked on a book like this in a VERY long time this was absolutely fucking beautiful also this is a mess im just typing stuff out as I go along with the book so HE WHIMPERSSSSSSSSSSSSSs

I really loved their relationship, being friends, and finally after 10 years they were together. There were scenes that made me cry, like the airport scene, and there were scenes that I liked when they were described like the following:
She lets out a soft laugh, that sounds like the gates of heaven opening. God, I miss that laugh. Miss hearing it in person. Miss her.
My life is boring, Gabi.” Especially without her.
She really doesn’t know how much I miss being around her. She’s my home, and an adventure all at once.
Love that she thinks of me, because I think of that girl nonstop. Every single day.
No trip is complete without you. Why do I love the sound of that so much?
I think about what it would be like to see her again, to see her face and hold her in my arms and be able to look into her eyes in person. My body warms at the thought. My lips twitch as I load up my laptop, and start searching for flights.

obsessed with this group
“I’d much rather be weird with you than normal with anyone else.”
It was a bitter sweet feeling getting to ‘Truth or Dare’ because a little part of me wasn’t ready to let go of these characters. I’ve grown so attached to this world that by the time we get to Gabi, I was feral for her story.
“I’ll give you anything you want, pretty girl.”
Gabi is the black cat of her friend group and has to toughen up pretty quickly because of her past. While she has grown attached to her girlfriends and their significant others, she is missing her best friend, Chris, so has been studying abroad. They haven’t seen each other In years but after a conversation, Chris decides to spend the summer with her.
“I’m done pretending that every breath I take isn’t for her.”
While they are trying to fall into their old routine, they can’t help but fight the attraction that seems to heat up the longer they spend together and the mutual pining. When certain truths are discovered, they have to face their feelings and decide what comes next. They also have the reality of Chris’ departure back to London.
“I just wanted to be a safe place for you, Gabi.”
Their obstacles are worth the ending that they get. I swooned over Chris’ feelings, his inner thoughts and his confessions. I got giddy watching him bond with the friend group and getting to see some momental moments between this gang. I honestly can’t wait for their extended epilogue novella just to get more of them.

Okay so first of all I’ve only just put the book down and had to write this straight away! Second of all Stephanie what did you put in this book girl because I was invested right from the beginning I absolutely devoured it I couldn’t put it down once I started! Haha
Friends to lovers has to be in my top 3 tropes at the moment and this being childhood best friends to lovers was next level. Chris and Gabi’s connection and bond was absolute perfection. Their love and devotion for each other along with the 10 years of mutual pining (yes you heard that right 10 years!) is making me emotional just thinking about it the amount of butterflies I got while reading this was INSANE! Even after their time apart seeing them come back together like nothing had changed and seeing their relationship grow even more was so beautiful plus the built up tension between the two after their years apart oh my gosh it was well worth the wait! 🥵🔥
I really loved how it went between their past and present seeing them back when they were teenagers was so lovely and really helped see their full story and to understand both the characters that much more.
Even with the heavier subjects and both of Gabi and Chris’s childhood trauma I think it was written in such a beautiful and sensitive way that even though it was hard to read at times was done perfectly. As someone who has personally struggled with some of the same coping mechanisms as Gabi it really helped me to feel connected to her. She was an absolute Queen and I loved being able to watch her grow and heal from the past. The way they both helped each others get through everything in their lives was something else. I also don’t think I can eat pancakes or see a Ferris wheel without thinking about these two characters now.
I haven’t read the rest of the series but you can bet I will be going back and finishing them all when I get the chance, I loved all of the other characters so much. I’m also excited to read the Epilogue Novella when it comes out I cannot wait to see where all the characters end up in the future.

Even with the heavier subjects and both of Gabi and Chris’s childhood trauma I think it was written in such a beautiful and sensitive way that even though it was hard to read at times was done perfectly. As someone who has personally struggled with some of the same coping mechanisms as Gabi it really helped me to feel connected to her. She was an absolute Queen and I loved being able to watch her grow and heal from the past. The way they both helped each others get through everything in their lives was something else. I also don’t think I can eat pancakes or see a Ferris wheel without thinking about these two characters now.
I haven’t read the rest of the series but you can bet I will be going back and finishing them all when I get the chance, I loved all of the other characters so much. I’m also excited to read the Epilogue Novella when it comes out I cannot wait to see where all the characters end up in the future.

This was such a special story with such beautiful and strong characters and I’m so beyond happy I got to read it. I received an advanced copy of this book and these are my thoughts:
I love a best friends to lovers story and this one did not disappoint. I loved Gabi and Chris. I liked how close they were as friends and how they transitioned so seamlessly into lovers. As one of the characters said: “it’s in the small things” and it really was! From the pancakes; to the cuddles, to then songs.
They were both young but had so much suffering in them and way they eased each other’s pain was comforting. Chris and Gabi were just meant to be together.
They had great chemistry and the spice was spicin’! 3/5🌶️ but slow, slow burn!!
I have to mention the found family rep in this story. I loved Gabi’s group of friends (had already met them in NEVER HAVE I EVER) and I was happy to see how easily they accepted Chris into the group.
The epilogue was so good! Can’t wait for the last installment in this series!

Truth or Dare by Stephanie Alves is one of the best books I have read which revolves around the trope "Best Friends to Lovers". I have always been a fan of this trope and for the reason that it is sweet and pure, but this book takes the cake.
Chris is the sweetest book boyfriend I have ever known and I would want to have a man who is just like him. I was in just sheer awe of this man because oh my god the things he did, the things he said and overall how he took care of her was just amazing amazing.
Gabi was the chaos to the calm Chris brought and that is what made them perfect for each other.
The found family vibes of this book were so delightful and the relationship between all the boys was so non-toxic and positive.
This book will go as a must read that I would recommend to everyone who is beginning with romance reads.

The book jumps back and forth from present to the past of Chris and Gabi. Gabi vibrant and hilarious and Chris the mysterious, quiet shy boy. After spending the last 4 years apart, Chris decides to finally come home for the summer and spend it with Gabi. Secretly they been in love with each other for far too long, with some help of jealousy, forced proximity and they’re favorite game of Truth or Dare, confession are escape and truth comes out of their feelings for one another. The relationship between the two is so wonderful and unique.

Chris's love and adoration for Gabi make him irresistibly appealing.
