Did you know that hell was subjective?

I didn’t.

Hell, for one person, is totally different for another.

I guess in some ways we all live in our own kind of hell.

I was born into mine.

I never knew anything different.

As far as I was concerned, my hell began and ended within the walls I lived in,

until the day the DEVIL freed me.

**This is a dark, violent, SEXUALLY graphic book that contains many triggers. Intended for 18+. **

I must read was beyond what I anticipated and far better than you could ever imagine

I've only ever read one other book that had similarities to a character having these types of issues but I can say that the way that Ivy embraced who she was and like kind of had an attitude of I don't give a crap if somebody likes me or not but then also had insecurities because the one person she really wants to like please is Luc. So it was heartbreaking in a way and yet so overwhelmingly profound see that he accepted her for everything that she had even her issues her scars her flaws like all of it that was like amazing
Storyline is very much on the edge of your seat the entire time you never get a break of calmness the entire book is very intense and not only does the trauma within this book make it intense but the dynamic between Luc & Ivy. Is a very chaotic to a point they both have issues and one being a sadist & the other being masochit. So it makes it all the more deranged and also forbidden because there is like a huge age gap & then there's bombshells that are dropped in this book that are like how much more can it get messed up so that's why I feel it made the storyline very strong.
I also appreciated how side characters I feel had more of a impact in this book and also in their relationship. So I'm definitely excited to see new characters from this new series branch out in books to come. I also loved how towards the end of the book like the last five chapters you got more of an insight into the mindset of what trauma and what repercussions of someone else's actions can do to a person and what lengths they will go to like get revenge almost but then seeing those scenes in the last four to five chapters it makes you see just how not broken Ivy is and how strong she really is . also you see how what has happened to her affected people that have now come to love her and know her and so you just see how trauma is not only for the person is done to it's for everyone else around you as well and so that was like a really strong point for me in this book and what made me love the book even more.

This books is a bit darker than the other series. I really enjoyed it. We finally learn where Ivy has ran off to. We learn about her dark traumatic past and she's been running for a long time. We also learn who saved her!
This book is the first in the series about Lucifer and his MC. We first met him in Sandman's book. Luc has had a tough past. He was in the military, like all his brothers, and didn't get out the conventional way. He's hunting people from his past when Ivy shows up in his clubhouse bar.
I really enjoyed the back and forth between Ivy and Luc. Ivy's only been able to trust herself to stay safe and Luc is a natural leader who always gets his way. There is some dark scenes in this story with Ivy's flashbacks so it's best to check trigger warnings before diving in if you have any issues with dark reads.
It was nice to see Ivy starting to heal and open up more with what happened to her and accepting help from the brothers. And we see Luc start to soften a bit for Ivy. I also enjoyed reading the scenes with Luc being a pop pop. They always turn mushy for their kids and grandkids! We also get to see more of our favorites from the other MCs! I can't wait to read what comes next after that ending!

This book was Fantastic!! This is book 1, of the "Disturbed MC" Series. Its going, to be another, Fantastic series. This book is darker than the other series. Please read the triggers warning in the book. .💓 Lucifer and Ivy.
Each person is different from the others, MC, he had a toughest, dark scenes, dark, violence, se*@lly graphs, action pack, the Soulless Sinners MC ( make and appearance), her dark traumatic past, been running for a long time, flashback are dark, death of a child, Brother came to help her, action pack, entertaining, unpredictable, wonderful characters, twisted, BDSM, unimaginable, romantic, lots of twisted stuff, Steamy, tear jerker, tragic, TWISTED, and her father is disgusting, kidnapped, beaten, age gap, steamy, and so much more.
Don't know where she comes up this these Twisted books. But BRAVO, to MS Joyce, for coming up with these characters and stories.
Read this book twice already. Definitely, again on my reread list.
A Must Read book.

I was really looking forward to this new series, and curious about how it would all tie in together with the crossover. I wasn't disappointed. Rebecca Joyce takes us on another twisted, angsty journey with this new club. Ivy's story is terribly heartbreaking, while at the same time, such a story of strength and survival. What her mind did to protect her as a child, and how she won't apologize for her condition. Her, "This is me. Love me, like me, or hate me, I'm living my life my way" attitude is fantastic. The sadism and masochism is how Ivy and Luc's broken parts fit beautifully imperfectly together. I was left wanting more info on Luc's backstory, but I have a feeling it will become clear in future books.
Another hit series for Rebecca Joyce and the MC world she has created. I can't wait for the next book.

No words

Rebecca Joyce warns the reader that this is BDSM hard core especially those with certain fetishes.
But I had to finish the crossover starting with SINNER'S STORM: SOULLESS SINNERS MC (SOULLESS SINNERS M.C. BOOK 3) then PRIEST: SONS OF HELL MC (SONS OF HELL M.C. BOOK 7 to get the full story. What Ivy went through as a child and adult will had me screaming, crying and walking away from the book at times. I have read some BDSM books all MC books dabble in it but this was different. Not Luc and Ivy I got that sexual relationship but it's the monsters in Ivy's life.
This crossover was a brilliant idea and read. All i will say there is a HEA

Dark but not overly

Ivy has been through the unimaginable by a person who should of protected her. She is now unhinged just like her brother.

I like how the Author intertwined all three MC'S. We got to see everyone. It's actually cr@zy how everyone is related to someone that brings them together to protect theirs.

I was disappointed we didn't get to see Ivy and Luc get their justice piece by piece. What ever happened to the guard at the door that disappeared. Can't wait for Robin's story.

Holly freaking Nora Heck!
This story is so full of triggers but deep and so well written I don't really have words.
THis is book 3 in Rebecca Joyce's crossover trilogy and also the the first book in the disturbed MC series.
This is Lucifer & Ivy's story and it is a doozy.
Luc is Scarecrow's (from The Golden Skulls) adoptive father and Ivy is the unknown sister of one of the Soulless Sinners.
Intense and scary but well worth the read.

Wow!

This isn't a book I would usually read. But I knew I needed to read it to find out what happens. I disregarded the warning and pushed on and I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I honestly really liked it. Rebecca Joyce says her books are dark and yes they can get into the dark side but she does it in a way that isn't terrible. No matter what I will read anything she puts out.

Ivy and Lucs story will have you utterly captivated, a dark story that dives in deeps with hard themes, sadist, masochist. This is definitely the darker sode to Rebeccas story telling - as if we thought we found her peak, think again! Well written the story holds your attention throug the highs and lows, age gap, steamy, action, violence and more!

disturbed lucidity (disturbed MC book 1)

Ivy had a horrible and traumatic childhood. She finally escaped from her father’s sexual abuse. Luc the president of the disturbed MC finds Ivy interesting . They both find an incredible relationship. I was disappointed that the author made the main female sterile.

Book 3 in the crossover. Ifyou have any triggers vplease look at the list as there are a few.

Luc and Ivy was a deep story. They both had been hurt as kids. There are so many secrets and so much hurt. The fact that they have to use BDSM to handle some things. This was a very intense story, but great.

Holy mother of god. What did I just read 😳. A new Mc. Luc is one bad ass. He meets his match in ivy. My heart broke for this woman and all she endured in her life. The abuse was mind boggling. When the evil comes back to claim her. Well let’s just say all out war happens. Another amazing story by Rebecca. Don’t miss out. Incredible book.

OMG! I feel like I dropped int a black hole into the sinster and dark world. Love the passion of Luc and Ivy. Felt so sorry for Ivy's lost childhood. But was glad to see Luc help her out of it and move on.

This was a great book! It does have dark themes and situations, so it is not for everyone! However, this book will give the reader a great story and insight to the future mc world that is created by this author!

This was ok. I didn't hate it but I think its description of being a "disturbed dark romance" was pushing it. I'd say slightly dark and a little twisted at times. Could be a little darker for my tastes. If you like things a little dark with a slight edge you may like it more.

Saved the best for last!!!! The final book in the 2024 crossover was fantastic. It was probably one of the most heartbreakingly difficult books to read, imo. RJ really has a knack for creating these depraved stories. Bravo!!!! 👏 👏👏👏

I must be disturbed too9 because I really enjoyed this book.. And not for the reasons one might think either. She was able to find someone that help slow her mind down and could understand her and not take it to far.

OMG Rebecca, where do these storyline’s come from? I’m thinking your mind is a wicked entity, alive with hot, well-built, alphas, take no prisoners type of men and gorgeous, strong, bad@$$ women. I am In awe of your talented writing skills and the ability you have to bring all these characters together weaving such believable, well written stories that draw your readers into the lives of so many and giving us permission to love them and see them as the hero’s we secretly want to be or have in our lives. Well done on this very entertaining, new club edition to your MC empire. I absolutely loved and enjoyed Luc and Ivy’s story ❤️❤️❤️ It was a thrilling ride. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Book 3 in The Cross Over series
I did enjoy the story and loved all the ole faces popping in and the build up to where it’s going for December
But … I really didn’t get a connection with Luc and I didn’t find it any darker than some of the other books like Reapers , Sandman or even Bullseye. Yes the BDSM element was there but if that is in a book you know what to expect
Over all a good read and great lead to where the series is going
Am amazing cross over series over all

Ivy gets her happy ending! I was so happy to see who this book was about. Terrified that she was falling for Luc but he turns out to be so much more than a grumpy, scary biker dude. I could not put this book down.

I love MC romances because the MMC always falls fast and hard for the FMC but refuses to admit it and this is no different.

The drama is high like the rest of this reading journey but so much gets answered.

Disturbed Lucidity by Rebecca Joyce

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pacing: Fast-Burn
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Character Development
: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rebecca Joyce has left addicted me to yet another set of men with "Disturbed Lucidity," the first installment in the Disturbed M.C. series! From the first few pages, I was pulled into a gritty world where mental health struggles are depicted with both authenticity and sensitivity with accuracy.

Ivy Scott , our fierce and beautifully flawed female protagonist, feels like a kindred spirit—a beautifully chaotic embodiment of strength and vulnerability. As someone who resonates with her journey, I can confidently say that Joyce has an uncanny ability to articulate the complexities of mental health in a way that is both relatable and empowering. At times I felt like she had spent time in my brain or sitting down with my own "head shrink".

Lucifer "Luc" Hawk —talk about a captivating character! Luc is everything you want in a dark, brooding anti-hero, and Joyce paints his development with the craftsmanship of a skilled artisan. The chemistry between him and Ivy sizzles and adds an intoxicating layer to the already intense narrative. Plus I am a sucker for a well done age-gap romance.
The exploration of self-acceptance, wrapped in a storyline devoid of kink shaming, had me cheering for Luc and Ivy fully to embrace their true selves without reservation.

The intertwining of various clubs creates a layered universe that leaves readers craving more. As I turned the pages, I found myself particularly intrigued by the Wraith Warriors, even more so after our introduction to them in Sandman's story, eager for more tales of Wraith. I adored the family dynamics of different clubs knowing what family really means and seeing them come together for the love of one little girl.

The relatioships between the characters are rich, with subtle hints at looming confrontations, like the anticipated showdown involving Montana, Reaper, and Maxim—my fingers are crossed for a seriously satisfying showdown between Reaper and Montana.... Maxim has shown regret and remorse but Montana.... that man needs to be taken down a fews pegs. I see trouble for the Soulless Sinners in the near future.

Joyce sprinkles other surprises throughout, with one familiar face like Matthew Law steering the plot toward tantalizing possibilities. And can we just take a moment to discuss the urgent need for Malice and Silver's story? It’s a craving I can’t ignore! Sinners Malice is set to release in October 2024!

The ONLY issue I had while reading this story was the part where Jude is at the clubhouse and loading the Glock and slamming the "clip" home followed by Trash "clicking off the safety".

I totally get not every reader has a well developed knowledge of firearms but as a owner, collector, and gun enthusiast I couldn't help but groan and say noooo!!!!

Quick little firearm nuggets ,

magazines hold ammunition until it is fed into the firearms chamber.

Clips assist in loading ammunition into the firearms magazine.

All firearms besides revolvers (you know the "cowboy guns" that are cylinder fed and single-shot firearms) have magazines, but not all guns have clips.

ALSO Glocks have do NOT have an external manual safety, so Trash could not have "clicked off the the safety". The semiautomatic Glock has a what they refer to as a "safe action system" meaning there are 3 parts to "safety".

Trigger Safety The firing pin and Drop all 3 of these have different roles in the overall "safety" of the firearm.

Disturbed Lucidity serves as a powerful introduction to a captivating new series that promises to delve into the depths of human emotion, relationships, and the struggles we face., as well as the men and women who have served our country and the horrors they are left to fight, most of the time alone in their heads, once they are back on American soil.

I eagerly await the next chapter in this world and the brilliant storytelling that my girl Rebecca Joyce brings to life. If you're looking for a tale that’s thought-provoking, steamy, and beautifully raw, grab your copy now—you won’t regret it!

Woah this was darker than I was expecting but I loved it. Luc is all sorts of hot dominant maleness of a club president. He is supposed to be keeping Ivy safe but of course things can’t help happening can they,

When Rebecca said she was writing a dark read I was so excited and couldn't imagine how it would turn out but knew it would fantastic.

I was not dissapointed

This girl just keeps producing the best work I have ever read.

There genuinely has not been one booked I didn't adore and wanna read again straight away and this book is no different.

Thr characters are quite different in this story line but no less captivating

I loved Ivy and hwe diligaf attitude. Her past is heartbreaking and the straight to survive is how we all wish we could be through life

I didn't feel a connection with Luc like I have other characters but for Ivy he was perfect.

I am very intrigued for the next book thou
