This gripping novel will draw you in from the first page and leave you questioning where the boundaries of loyalty truly lie.
This was so easy to get into, I was gripped from the start! I found the storyline hooked me so much I couldn’t stop thinking about it even while I wasn’t reading it. Absolutely beautifully written, too, Dominika is a fantastic writer. I fell in love with the characters and their individual stories easily.
Would absolutely highly recommend this to anyone who loves a little mystery!
This book sounded like something I would like so when the author offered to send me a copy for a review I jumped at the chance.
At the beginning I would say it took me a while to understand the format of this story and how it’s written, thinking that there would be chapters were instead there were dates written to divide each of the days that span the story but once I realised it I found myself being unable to put the book down.
Each ‘chapter’ left you turning the page and wondering what other secrets and adventures are going to be uncovered while putting you in a headspace of a daughter who recently lost her mother and is trying to find out more about her and her life outside of being a mum.
The characters were well written and although it was a dialogue heavy in places, it helped the story progress and made you feel like you were meeting the characters on a deeper level which is something that is hard to accomplish with dialogue. It almost made you feel like Sherlock Holmes putting the clues together to make up your own conclusion.
I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in adventure, fiction and mystery.
Absolutely loved this book, loved the relationship between Lucy and John, and I ended up with a soft spot for john. The artwork is amazing.....defo recommend reading.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve just finished The Wish List and I loved it!
This book to me is definitely a mystery suspense book, it had a lot of twists and turns, it was emotional, it was funny in places, and it just had me hooked from start to finish and left me wanting to know what was going to happen.
I loved it so much that I hope one day Dominika might release a sequel book as I just want to know more about Lucy & John’s story and what happens in the rest of their lives!
I throughly enjoyed this read, it was engaging and the mystery deepened and had me hooked. When the ending came it wrapped up nicely and left me wanting more.
