I was born to be their redemption. Instead, I will become their destruction.
Valarian was never meant to be ours. We stole this realm from the witches and the Fae and we’d ruin this world, as we’d ruined so many before. The rot had already begun. A slow, inexorable corruption that would never stop until there was nothing left.
To save Valarian, I had to choose.
Love or war. Life or death. A short, bloody future with the men I loved or a world where they’d be safe forever.
Because I couldn’t have both. The cost of our survival was sacrifice and I refused to ask my men, my people or my allies to pay that price. As their queen, that cost was mine to bear, even if I spent every last drop of my stolen power to keep them safe.
Because that’s what queens did. They bled for the ones they loved.
**Vicious Is My Throne is a why choose, high stakes fantasy romance with elements of forbidden love, magic, found family, fated mates, enemies to lovers, Fae, shifters and political conflict.
Fueled by black coffee, ice cream and bad nineties music, L.A. McGinnis spends her days writing best-selling steamy fantasies filled with damaged heroes who long to be whole and smart, authentic heroines. A life-long fascination with storytelling inspired her to weave these contemporary tales of legendary fated mates where the princess never needs rescuing, but sometimes the hero does.
I was too generous with my earlier ratings in the series. I'm happy to be done with it. Just because a lot happened doesn't mean it was good. I'm not sure how it made it onto my TBR but I do regret it
Page 1: Raziel dozing to my right. Tavion snoring on my left. Tristan was, most likely, in his own room and Zorander was... Next page: I slid out from between Raziel and Tavion and climbed over Tristan... Chapter 3: ...invited Tristan to join us, but he kept to his own rooms at the Keep and never showed any interest in sharing a bed with me or anyone else. I know Tristan eventually comes around to be part of the group but at this point it seems like he’s still isolating himself, ergo, Anaria would not have to crawl over him to get out of bed.
It’s probably just me but it seems like the sex scenes are contrived. Lull in the action? Let’s have sex. Facing almost certain death? Sex is the answer.
Although I love L.A. McGinnis’ books this one seems to be drawn out to the point that I’m getting bored. Let’s wrap it up already.
Keystones: How is it that Anaria randomly picks one up out of millions and it turns out to be the Oracles'? I also seem to remember that she kept that one in her pocket yet I’m fairly sure there were five others. (Yep. I went back and checked. “Five keystones plus the one in my pocket. One for each of us plus a spare.”)
If she and the four men are so powerful, how did the Oracle and Corvus take over in the first place? Why didn’t those two also “reincarnate” as humans? This may have been addressed but I don’t remember. Also, I know Oracle & Corvus are twins but apparently Anaria is their sister so why are they so intent on ending her?
Zorander has shifted into his godlike form, yet the other three (unless Tristan’s wyvern or Tavion’s wolf now count) haven’t physically changed. Neither has Anaria. She also has a second name which I can’t remember but their’s stay the same.
Who is Bella? I don’t remember her. I think I’m good on all the other characters. Nail biting confrontations. Actually Anaria didn’t vanquish the Oracle but Sylvi managed to do it. That raises the question - how did Sylvi access Corvus’ cave? It was an excruciating process for everyone else. Why did Anaria have the knife/sword/whatever in the first place since it wasn’t hers to wield? It seemed to me that Anaria was always managing to pull a new or hidden magic out of her ass. It happened too many times to be an interesting plot point.

Well. What an ending… and they all lived happily ever after. I was definitely expecting someone to die. But I’m glad they all get the life they deserve.
With Corvus unchecked, his blight is quickly spreading and sucking life from everything it touches. Cities are being evacuated and the group must find safety and figure out a way to stop the spread. There’s a lot of fillers here and so many moments where all hope should be lost. But they push through.
They find Mysthaven. A hidden fortress where the original witches live. The Vanguard Conclave. A group that Bexley is a part of. A group that one of Anaria’s ancestors hail from. They possess a knife that supposedly can kill a god. One that Anaria’s ancestor forged. But they realize they only have part of this knife. The other part being the amulet that Cosimo was trapped in… the one they gave to Trubhan(sp?) which the Oracle tracked. So this may be all for not.
Zorander makes a break for Blackcastle to warn them all of the incoming blight. He also decides to check the wreckage and search for the amulet. Only to find it broken, melted, and powerless. Cosimo has an item that allows him to time travel. He and Zor go back to the day Anaria took Blackcastle. They search Trubhan’s(sp?) shop just before Zeph destroys it with his dragon fire. They barely make it out alive.
The Oracle has escaped her mental prison and is PISSED. She comes after Anaria and her men. Anaria manages to strike a deal that if Gelvira allows Anaria and her mates to live, Anaria will free the magic in Varitus. Then Gelvira can deal with her brother herself.
Anaria and her men make it to Varitus. Where she never thought she would see again. They find a keystone in the Descendants closet. It gives them the idea that all the major houses of Varitus have one. Smuggled in when they were sentenced. They manage to find all of their stones. Each one seeming to belong to each god. Connecting them to a higher power. A stone brought with them from their home worlds. Anaria breaks the ward and frees the magic Zorander was trapped in the middle of the forest with no protection from the surge of power.
He’s in bad shape but Anaria finds him and they heal him. But something’s wrong. Zorander is growing wings. A mutation from the magic. An echo of a past life becoming reality.
Gelvira arrives to claim her half of the bargain. Anaria gives over everything. Leaving her with the witch magic. The only thing that can compete against these gods. Gelvira however decides not to stop her brother but to let him gloat until there’s nothing left and start over.
Anaria and her group decide to give it their all and go after Corvus themselves.
Bexley reveals himself. He takes Anaria to a warded room one only she can get into. And inside is an orb which communicates with the Barren Coven! She talks with Bella and Vesper who explain Bexley’s involvement. They give Anaria a key to a watchtower close to the Hammer. Bexley then reveals his or her true identity. The first high priestess of the Vanguard Conclave. Anaria’s ancestor. She teaches Anaria how to use witch magic and explains the knife. And the keystones. How Gelvira mentioned the stone Anaria carried was her “heart.”
Anaria and her men go up against Corvus. They had a secret plan to go out first and tire him out, distract him. Before Anaria goes in for the kill. All expecting to sacrifice their lives for this moment and for their queen. But Anaria saw this in a vision. And it all plays out exactly so. Corvus is too strong for them. He takes out Tavion in a fatal blow. Then Raziel and Zorander. Tristan shifts and protects Anaria and is mostly drained before Anaria manages to find a small stone. A keystone. HER keystone. (Why did Corvus have it? Did Gelvira hide it there?? Where is Corvus’ keystone??) this gives her the power to overwhelm Corvus and snuff out the flame with more fire. It works enough for Syl to appear and toss all the men their keystones. They are all barely alive expected Tavion. She reforged the blade and ends Corvus. The cost, she turned to stone in the process. But. She completed her task and her destiny is fulfilled.
Gelvira arrives and the men and Anaria have just enough energy to kill her too. Thus ending the destruction cycle of the twins. The mountain collapses and Zephryn comes to their aid just in time. They almost didn’t make it.
Now they’re rebuilding and trying to rid the blight infection. Slow progress is being made. Torin tells Anaria it’s time to take her throne. Much to Anaria’s dismay, she unites the realms truly. When Anaria tries again to call upon the wild magic and rebirth the land, it answers. But differently. Instead of Anaria harboring the power, she becomes a conduit for it. She returns every drop of stolen power and the land is now whole. She gets the live on with her men. Soul bonded. They get their vacation on the beach. All is right.
I just have a few questions. Why did it take so long for Zoe to grow wing? And for what point did it serve other than acknowledging his past self?? Why didn’t it happen the first time the magic hit him or the second??
Why didn’t the keystones come into play much sooner in the plot? If Anaria could have figured out that the keystone she carried was Gelvira’s, then couldn’t she have destroyed that and been done with the Oracle?? And even if she couldn’t get Gelvira’s back after the revelation, she could have gone on the hunt for Corvus’s keystone as an alternative to facing him. I understand not having time. But Anaria’s stone was in Corvus’ lair. Gelvira had to have a way of controlling her brother and keeping him in check which would elude to her having his keystone?? No?? So why didn’t that come into play?? :(
I also had a Throne of Glass moment when it was pointed out in Varitus that Anaria was there only MONTHS ago as a slave. Like all this happened in less than a year… wtf

“Our love has survived an eternity.” He lifted his pleasure-blown eyes to mine, the golden rim around his irises glowing like the sun. “We have lost each other and found each other countless times. Our love transcends realms and worlds and even time itself. We are forever, Anaria.”
Chaos was slowly becoming order, but stability came at a steep price
Excellent and beautiful ending to a epic Romantasy!!! LA McGinnis is a fantastic storyteller!! Her books are why I grew to adore the why choose genre!! Each of these four warriors brought something uniquely all their own to this series. I have a hard enough time dealing with just one man! But damned if I wouldn't share a bed or a life without all for of these guys!😅🔥🔥This was the ending I hoped for and got! Anaria started out in book 1 as nothing more then a fae slave who had stolen the powers of a fae king and no matter how they tried to break her she was a queen in the making! Strong willed, beautiful, smart and not afraid to fight! And as one by one of these strong warriors laid not only their support by their hearts at her feet they took down some powerful beings including twin ancient gods who thought they would use them and then steal their powers and throw them away!! Raz,Tavion and Zor fell pretty fast but Tristan fought the bonding because of fear of losing someone he loved again. But before they set out to save their people in a mission that just might end in death Tristan finally gives his heart and soul and body to Anaria!!! And it was well worth the wait!!! This book is full of steamy scenes that not only had amazing sex but the relationships between each character was so beautiful! And I love that each male welcomed each other and that Anaria was their treasure to be loved, protected and worshipped! And boy did they Worship her over and over again.😂 Even the villains though out the books get a nod from me just for being memorable! I found LA McGinnis books a couple of years ago and I have yet to read a bad book by her yet! Amazing plots and unique characters and A ability to write stories that are so detailed and atmospheric that you feel like the stories and places are real! I'm sorry to see this series end with such awesome characters but she did a hell of job creating a ending that left me satisfied and content and so happy for them! If you love the why choose genre with great villains, political court intrigue with witches, gods, dragons and ancient evil gods and some really hot love making and a engaging storyline check this series out! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I have! Until next time Luv's😉💋
This is a captivating final book to a fantastic series. VIMT is a brilliant why choose, dark fantasy romance; following on from "Merciless is my Crown".
After destroying both her father and her uncle, the Fae Kings, Anaria is now Queen and trying to rebuild the realms with Tavion, Razel, Zorander and Tristan. But the Oracle and her brother, the Old Gods, are still out there and Corvus' corruption and rot is spreading, killing the new life Anaria had started. They realise that they were ruining this world as they had so many before but Anaria is determined that this will be the last and they will save Valarian. But before they can put a stop to Corvus, the Oracle finds them again and sends them on another 'side quest' to bring the magic back to Varitus where Anaria had been a slave.
With bonds being strengthened and secrets revealed, Anaria, her males and their friends learn more about each other and discover power and strength they didn't know they had. But are they strong enough to destroy not one, but two Old Gods, and what will they need to sacrifice?
I love Anaria's discovery of different magics as well as her "Darklings"; and the banter (and ribbing) between the males is great. They all have their own different personalities and strengths, working well together and growing the connection between them. More is revealed about Tristan and his Wyvern, and something is wrong with Zorander, he's changing:
Something was very wrong. With Zor. With the darkness. With this wet, heavy air that smelled of…thunderstorms and lightning. Or freshly spent magic
Overall a brilliant dark fantasy with plenty of action, shared bed RH romance, fated mates, found family, politics, danger, secrets, Fae, witches, shifters, monsters and some great twists. The main characters are really well written, all imperfect in their own way with wonderful chemistry between them (there's caring, love and spice 🔥). I couldn't put this down and would strongly recommend the whole series; LA McGinnis has created a brilliant world in these books.
I received a copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the final book of 4 which tells the story of Anaria, a slave girl who becomes Queen. This book leads up to the final battle between 2 of the old gods, chaos and corruption. With the help of her men, Zor, Raz, Tav and Tris they follow their fate and protect their Queen even if it means laying down their life. The only thing that matters to them is making sure Anaria is safe and alive.
All Anaria wants is to protect the lands. let the people lead their own lives and be safe while doing so. She wants them to be free, not beholden to a master. Her capacity for love, is her strength, the 4 men by her side are in awe of her, always putting the needs of others before herself. This time hopefully they can do what they haven't been able to do in the past. Giving them the future they deserve living in freedom, peace and prosperity.
Another great series by this author. I haven't read any of her books that has left me wanting. They have made be laugh out loud and also tugged at my heart strings at the plight of strong female lead. A quest, a responsibility she never thought she'd have to take on but always done so with the thought of others utmost in her mind, fighting against the corrupt, power hungry kings and gods.
5*'s all the way and if you haven't already, go and read the other series by this author, they certainly won't disappoint.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
🔸️ Determination despite struggle, concentration on achieving an ultimate goal despite exhaustion, courage to change the world into better place. Anaria is unstoppable 🖤, even when ancient, cruel villians create terryfing obstacles and deadly, wicked challenges.
🔸️ Anaria and her males are damaged, haunted, tormented and used as pawns in bigger game. Their journey is almost immposible to make and has many breaking points. But they refuse to surrender and give up their dream of freedom.
🔸️ It's a thrilling and emotional story. The plot has many twists and some deeply hidden secrets are revealed.
🔸️ I love how the relationship between Anaria and her males deepens and how their emotional connection is full of trust, devotion and creates sense of safety. The spicy scenes are juicy and concentrate around creating a piece of pleasure paradise for Anaria. It's beautiful and satisfying to read.
🔸️The story has vast world building and complex system of magic. All puzzles from previous 3 parts clicks into place. In this part there is also action, violence and gore.
🔸️ Very well written and smooth to read. Captivating, thrilling, worthy finale.
This final book was everything I wanted for this series! It’s exciting, fast paced, full of sexy, protective alpha men and a heroine who kicks booty and takes names. Anaria is facing her most difficult challenge yet, a horrifying blight that kills everything in its path leading back to a bloated Corvus and the Oracle pacing her every step but somehow always one step ahead. (you’ll see why too! ) Everything you’ve wondered about from past books in this series is answered plus some mysteries you weren’t even expecting. I can’t get over the twists and turns in this book. When you break down the complexities, the characters, plots and sub-plots you realize what a true artist this author is! She is truly amazing! Her characters will make you bleed for them, ache for them and hope for them like nothing you’ve ever seen. Their victories, their defeats and there are many, become your own. And their love for each other, their willingness to sacrifice, stand by and help those they love will bring you to the heights of longing. Their HEA is not guaranteed, they’re in for the fight of their very long lives but if they succeed, oh and you’ll be rooting for them to, it will be the absolute best thing you’ve ever seen. I received an ARC of this amazing book and am happily leaving my review.
This is a satisfying conclusion to the series and after four books I was ready for Anaria to get her well deserved HEA! There is drama, action, spice and some tears along the way but all the plot threads are neatly tied together and I enjoyed the call backs to some of the previous characters like Solok and Ember as they were both integral to Anaria's backstory and development. And Tristan is finally all in! He may be a late addition but he more than makes up for it in this book.
Tavion has been my guy since book one; he is such a charmer and I loved ever single "my wife" and "mate". The banter between all of the guys is also so good and there are some truly funny bickering scenes; the connection between them all has developed throughout the series and they really do feel like a true found family. The brief epilogue was really cute too especially after all the hardships they overcame to get there.

My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
Killing the old gods is not going to be easy, but she won’t give up.
Anaria has brought the magic back to Valarian, but the beautiful forests and clear running streams will be corrupted by the ancient determined to suck out every bit of magic destroy this world before moving on to another like they have done many times before. Anaria has realized that the only way to save the realm, and the men she loves is by sacrificing every bit of the magic that has become hers, and even her life if necessary. Magic, twisted and malevolent gods bent on destruction, shifters, witches, exciting action, and lots of steam. This is a must-read dark, and twisting romance with characters that are unique, engaging, and well written. Between the characters steamy, and sometimes laugh out loud funny interactions, I could not put this book down. An absolutely fantastic conclusion to a must-read series. I highly recommend this book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
The last book of a series is often a letdown for me. Not so with this fourth and final story of the Wicked Realms series. All the stellar qualities of the first three volumes are still here - the boldest and most dangerous of quests, the overwhelming odds and the dire consequences of failure, and the sickening malevolence of the evil that threatens the world. Anaria and her four chosen males gain more strength, more depth, and a bond of love even greater than the magic that ties them together as they face their final task - the elimination of the Old Gods and the restoration of the three kingdoms. Together they are heroes to cheer for, to cry for, and to rejoice with - and I did all of that during one epic reading, cover to cover. Viscious is my Throne is the perfect finale to a dark, dangerous, magical, sexy, heroic adventure. This is my voluntary, independent ARC review
This poignant finale is a masterclass in storytelling, with twists and turns that will leave you breathless. This author has outdone herself, expertly weaving together a tale of sacrifice, banter, surprises, and spice that will keep you on the edge of your seat!!
The character development is exceptional, with each character bringing their own brand of complexity and depth to the story. The banter is witty and engaging, the surprises are expertly timed, and the spice is sizzling.
But what truly sets this book apart is its ability to balance light and dark moments, creating a narrative that is both poignant and thrilling. The themes of sacrifice and power are expertly explored, adding depth and nuance to the story.
Overall, this finale to is an explosive conclusion to an epic series, which is a must-read! It's a wild ride from start to finish, and I can't wait to see what this author has in store next.
What a great ending to this amazing series. I loved every book and the adventure, twist and turns, challenges to be overcome and love to be found in the most unexpected way. Anaria was a character I warmed to from the start and her four brave warrior lovers and partners on this amazingly magical adventure are a mixed bunch yet they all compliment each other. This series has great characterisation, humour, super hot hot steamy sex, love, loss, heartache, joy, amazing plot with unexpected twists and is a truly magical rollercoaster of a mystery ride. Mixed feelings as glad to see the outcome of the heroine and her four warrior lovers but sad that their adventures have come to an end. At least I have the books to re-read to delve deeply and totally into a fantasy world of enjoyable adventure any time I wish to revisit Anaria and her men. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
It probably goes without saying that you need to read the preceding books in the series, but I'll say it anyway. In the epic final book of this series, Anaria and her guys (Raziel, Zorander, Tristan, and Tavion) set out to do the impossible - kill two gods. Corvus's blight is slowly killing everything Anaria had brought back to life. His sister, Gelvira or the Oracle, is determined to get the magic that Anaria stole from the kings. Fortunately, Anaria and her men still have a few friends left - and they are going to need them. As Anaria brings the last wards down, the Oracle is waiting to claim all the magic, but the lovers have a plan. A long-lost weapon, and a cache of keystones may be their only hope to save their world.
Heart-stopping moments abound in this one. Anaria is determined that she and her men will be the ones still standing after the final battle between good and evil. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
WOW!!! Just wow. This was the best ending to a series!
Anaria along with her mates, Raziel, Zorander, Tavion and Tristan, are in the fight of thier life. They must find a way to rid thier world of the Old Gods.
As they search, they discovered thier bond is way more than they ever thought it could be. They all believe that the final fight could be thier last day.
Will they survive the evil that has plagued thier world? Will they be able to save not only the world, but themselves and thier friends.
This story, and the entire series, has amazing characters and the world building is absolutely wonderful.
I highly recommend this entire series. There are a few steamy parts within the series and for that I recommend 18+ readers.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This has been the most amazing series and now I need to find something to fill the void! I love the Fae worlds that have been built and all the magics that we find within. The storyline is so original and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Anaria is a perfect main female character and her loyalty and kindness make her an amazing Queen. She gets so excited over a well made pair of boots and I think that speaks to her past and all she’s been through. I like that she gets the opportunity to confront some old demons with the help of her men. Zorander’s surprise is super cool and totally random and Tristan (my cinnamon roll) finally gets the family he needs. Love the characters, love the story, cannot wait for more books and worlds! Definitely recommend this epic fantasy series! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
A simply wonderful read, tremendous characters and the story written wonderfully Anaria has brought magic back to the Valarian, the beautiful forests and clear and running water and the magic is destroying the world and Araris has realized that to save the man that she loves and has to sacrifice the magic that’s become hers. The magic has twisted the gods and they are bent on destruction, the shifters, witches are seeing plenty of action and there is lots of steam. It’s a unique romance that is filled ith action and magic and the characters are steamy and I enjoyed a wonderful read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
Vicious Is My Throne is Book 4 of the Wicked Realms series, and like its three predecessors it does not disappoint. If you are familiar with the writing of L.A. McGinnis then you know exactly what you’re in for. Expect steamy romance, death defying feats, flawed heroes and fated mates on an epic scale.
We join our love struck gods in a blight ridden Valarian, fighting for the races of the witches and the Fae they have caused such pain to in previous lives. In a race against time, a race against their own rot and a race against Corvus and his sister God, Anaria, Raziel, Zorander, Tristan, and Tavion face their greatest challenge yet.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
My first thought is usually how long these books are, and it is, BUT it takes time to follow the many storylines that are moving to conclusion. This is not a book to skip through because every word is moving the story along and I needed to read all the words as I followed Anaria and her males to the end of the world, through their growth and bonding and tempering as weapons for good. A sweeping story with an ending that hit every note - love, hate, loss, bonding, heat, hope. A really great end to this series.
I received a free Advance Review Copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
I don't want to give too much away, but I ADORED this book. I could not put it down, much like the rest of the Wicked Realms series.
Spicy, fast-paced, plot heavy, LA McGinnis does not disappoint with the exciting ending to the Wicked Realms. I love how she paces the development of the various love interests in this RH why choose story and as we finally get all the love interests together I did not think anyone could top Zorander till Tristan started getting explored more in depth here. I have never been left feeling in a slump on what to read next till I finished. Vicious is My Throne as it left me happy with the ending while wanting to stay in this dangerous and cruel world.
Bravo!!! That was the finale book I have been waiting for. I loved seeing the growth from the characters throughout the series. The whole series brought so much emotion, we had loss, we had love, unanticipated twists, Enemies became friends, epic showdowns and new characters we picked up and loved along the way. The spice was on point! The whole story of the gods was finally revealed, our MFC really came into her own by facing her past trauma and excepting herself. Our MMC's learned how to trust each other and work together to save the world. I am not ready for this adventure to end. This world is so fun, I would love to see more Novellas!!
Vicious Is My Throne: Wicked Realms: 4 by: L.A. McGinnis My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
The last book of this series and I wish it wouldn't end but alas it went out with a BANG! Never ever underestimate true love...true faith...and Four Vicious Men
Anaria doesn't always know what to do...but she does know one thing for certain she will not LOSE. The final book brings us tons of action, and one thing is for certain... Just because you are old, doesn't mean you're stronger, or smarter.
Healing the devastation though may take more than sheer will. Fantastic ending to a super sexy, explosive series.
Vicious Is My Throne (Wicked Realms book 4) by LA McGinnis is a fantasy romance why choose novel. I admit I am sad to see the series end but I thought the book 4 was a fabulous way to end the series. The description of the world and scenery around them is so well done. The plot is amazing and flows so well. It incorporates prior novels and brings the novel and series to a fitting conclusion. Anaria has truly developed into a fitting queen with Raz, Tavion, Zor and Tristan at her side! Their is action, twists/turns, emotions, love and spicy romance. I recommend this book and series! I can not wait for more from LA McGinnis.
Book four is the final installment of the Wicked Realms series. This phenomenal page turner is a definite must read. Tons of action and twist and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. Excellent character development and the witty banter/dialogue between each character is exceptional. The chemistry and spice is just enough to make you blush. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this entire series and definitely recommend reading. L. A. McGinnis is a top favorite and I look forward to reading more from this amazing author.

I will say the same thing I said about Merciless, still utterly enraptured by these books. World building is still amazing and character development continues even through this 4th book. Anaria and her men are still battling for the fate of the Realms. Despite everything that keeps getting thrown her way, she still does not give up. She promised herself that she was going to give everyone a better life and that she would heal the Realms. And she is going to deliver that promise. A beautiful, stunning conclusion to an amazing series. I look forward to reading more by this author.
If you have enjoyed the previous books you will enjoy the fantastic finish that is Vicious is my Throne. Non-stop action from go. I think this one takes the cake on running against the clock. If I were Anaria I would have given up land laid on the ground and let it swallow me up. Her journey has not been a walk in the park and this last book is no exception. Her strength and the love of her men and the entire world she feels responsible for is what keeps her going and she finally gets the hea she deserves.
The Wicked Realms series comes to a conclusion in this exciting, adventurous and magical story. Anaria and her mates must save the realm from the evil corrupting the land and the Gods, only then can the healing begin. So much devastation and loss will have your heart reeling in sadness for these characters and the path they must follow. I really enjoyed this powerful, well written plot and was very satisfied with how it ended.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily leave this review.
I can’t believe this is the end. I’m actually sad!
This book, just like the others, never slowed down. Anaria is a true queen and her mates are true kings. It was so intense watching them plot, plan, and love each other and building a family.
I was biting my fingernails!!! Very fast paced, LOTS of different plot points tying together beautifully, and by the end I was in tears!
Sad to see the end. Honored to have been a part of the series from the beginning!

You know when you want to finish a book because you need to know all the things, but don’t want to finish because it will be over… that’s Laura’s writing. Eveything I have read by her I want to devour and savour at the same time.
This being the final book for the fae series and it didn’t disappoint… I got most of the answers I wanted but I swear Laura leave bits for you to ponder making you crave just another book or a novella atleast to explore the side quest her stories offer
This final instalment sees anarias promises come to light and a HEA that we have all been waiting for 👏💓
This final part of Anaria's story was everything I was expecting and so much more! Left me breathless, heart pounding and so on the edge that kept me engrossed in the story until the absolute perfect end! As always, very well written and with great care in details, intense and immersive plot and storyline, so many twists and turns that each page brings the unexpected and complex and multilayered characters that feel real. An absolute MUST READ!!!
