Mac, the narrating MC is very believable and very sympathetic which makes the story harder to deal with than usual, thinly written brutalising porn. The other MC Felix is cruel and pretty much 2 dimensional - the unfeeling, unrepentant,unredeemable bad guy. The story is harsh, and the ending is brutal and entirely unsatisfying There is no resolution, there is no hope or comeback for Mac. Its just - rape, defeat, a future of humiliation and submission, the end. I didn't see the point of writing it and I was left wishing I hadn't read it.
