This book is my story although everyone has one, I thought by writing a book I can not only show myself overcoming adversity, but also help people that have ever lost family members to drugs suicide and mental illness. This book is my journey and my path through this crazy world. It talks about being extremely happy to being suicidal to facing over 25 years in jail. The book shuts the door on my past life and opens doors to a new one.

Richard was a primary school teacher and advisory teacher for literacy for over twenty years before becoming a freelance writer of children's books and books for schools.
