This was a brilliant read, full of the "squishy" little known bits of history, scandals, sex, drink, drugs, even bizarre blunders made by famous personages of the day in positions of power.
As a history fan there was lots in here I didn't know and that is omitted from many more conservative non fic history books.
A fun, random and quite weird read.
