Hunter Greenman and his friends Brigid, Sara, and Donn, find themselves transported into a future in which the Dark Court has almost won the faery war. They must race to try to find a way back to their own time before the victory is complete, pursued every step of the way by the Wild Hunt. Sequel The Lord of Beasts (published by Scholastic New Zealand).
This second book of the series is not a true stand alone. It made many references to the first books' adventures and revelations, which kept me lost or made scenes, actions, and characters seem out of place or plopped down to further or assist the plot. It was fun enough, but not recommended if the first book had not been read.
