Can a book about teapots be a coffee table book? If so, this is one, though a highly curated one, with clear photographs with short accompanying text about a brief selection of teapots. The typography is wonderful, with the captions often appearing to be tea poured from the spout. I enjoyed the comments about whether the teapot was a good pourer or dribbled. I had also never seen a plastic teapot or a disposable one, and some of the more modern designs looked very impractical. I would have liked a little more background, but this was really just an iced fancy of a gift book, pretty but insubstantial in every way.
