This book combines fine art with old recipes. Its quite a nice idea for a gift book but doesn't work at all. It doesn't work because the reproductions of art work are really crap, the writing is incredibly pretentious and all the recipes are well-known: an omelette, eggs Benedict, trifle and creme brulee etc.
Its a mildly-interesting book, nothing really to dislike, but nothing worth getting your cash out for either.
Anna just wants to be loved she just didn't think it would turn her into a Mom. She learns that Real love is to show it not to say it. You have to give up something if you want what's best, even if it's the hardest!
