good story, but annoying

This was a good story, but the poor editing and proofreading made it difficult to read and enjoy. Clues showed up in text before revealed in storyline and characters were switched in scenes.

Worth waiting for

I was so excited when One Deadly Batch was released. Agatha is an intriguing character and I had to know if this book was as good as the first. It certainly is!
A new boulangerie is opening and Eliza, the owner of the only other bakery is a bit concerned.
Will this new place be the downfall of hers?
When the sudden death of one of the new owners, Eliza is the immediate suspect, so Agatha and her friends must hurry to piece the clues together.

This is a fun and colorful characters who will make you laugh and smile.

I enjoyed the story and the characters but it needs editing. I had to go back a few pages 4 or 5 times to make sure I knew which character was the correct one, because the wrong character name was written.

A lot of characters in this book and all interesting. Agatha discovered a dead body the day she moved into her home and then approached by the evil Dolores about selling. Opening the bookstore was her next project and that was exciting for the town of Bristol Lake - a few folks are happy to see the re-opening and then we have evil Dolores to make Agatha doubt again! This is an enjoyable book and look forward to the next one in this series.
