I can pinpoint the exact moment I went from his nanny to something else... when I purred directly in his face.
I mean, a burp would've been preferable for the first time ever. He is a rejected alpha mate, having been abandoned with his baby daughter, and I just purred at him. The weird thing is... he growled back. So, where does that leave us? Caught between a baby and an alpha in pain, that's where.
Oh, and did I forget to mention the other two alphas, his best friends, who seem to have moved in as well at some point during my reign as baby nanny and who seem more than interested in this development?
Three men and a baby? Nope. An overwhelmed alpha trying to do everything himself? Check. A complicated situation is about to turn upside down, and I have no idea where to go from here. I sure hope they do.
This is a non-shifting steamy reverse harem omegaverse rom com standalone. Please note this is set in England in a completely fictional world, the characters are British and use British English.
Eve is a USA Today Bestselling Author with a specialty for steamy romance with strong female leads.
She lives in the UK, with her husband and five kids, so finding the time to write is short, but definitely sweet. Eve has a number of series, both completed and on the go and hopes to release some new and exciting projects, both paranormal and contemporary in the future, so stay tuned!
This was kind of boring. It takes place over maybe a week with them deliriously in love and everything is perfect. It felt really quick for such a long book and at times utterly ridiculous. Perhaps some of it is cultural differences which made me think someone was being rude or out of line but everyone else acted like it was normal. I almost dnf’d a few times, but the single parent/nanny trope is one I really like and I just had to see how the pack would come together.
If you’re looking for light, sweet, and warm vibes with little to no conflict and no third act breakup then this is the book you’re looking for.
I love an omegaverse book and with this one I quite liked that it's not set in a dystopian setting. However, the setting of the book is really vague. There is no world building at all, so it's not clear really what impact/power omegas and alphas have. From the way the alphas talk it seems there is probably an abundance of omegas out there.
Character wise, it started off strong with Zara but then everything just went super blah. There was not really any depth to the characters. Goodness knows what Liam and Ben do for work. And we know absolutely nothing about Henry. None of them, including Zara, seem to have any friends and aside from Ben's parents who feature twice, there are no secondary characters.
Eddie was a waste of time as it didn't add anything to the story.
For a 3 month old Mia spends a hell of a lot of time happily alone! My kids would never have tolerated it and to have so many meals go uninterrupted is just weird!
I honestly skipped and skimmed through most of the heat stuff. This is a full on insta love book with absolutely no explanation for how. They have no depth to their relationship. The three guys do, they as pack makes sense but it's the only thing that does.
Honestly, this book isn't bad it's just utterly blah.
This was an easy to read, lighthearted, sweet omegaverse read. I’d rate it 3.5 overall. There was basically zero angst, no drama or conflicts at all really. Zara leaves a bad relationship (although we really get no details of said relationship other than he’s narcissistic and preyed on her after her parents passing) and takes a nanny job for Ben. Ben has a three month old daughter with a mate that rejected him and abandoned the baby at one month old. The baby is a prop, and oddly sleeps the entire day and night except for when she wakes to feed, but she immediately goes back to sleep during or after a feed. It became very distracting the more scenes it happened, because this is NOT normal behavior for a three month old. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention, but maybe plop her on a play mat after breakfast instead of going back to bad for the day? Moving on…. Ben is resistant to having a nanny, and is still struggling with being rejected. His parents and friends pushed him, as he desperately needs help. He’s a bit of a grump and takes a bit to come around.
Enter the friends. Liam and Henry are the friends. They’re great personalities, but we really learn about either of their backgrounds, or what any of these guys do outside of the home. Henry is into financials, which we know because he is the one handling Ben’s. But that’s it. Not a lot of world building of depth.
The rejected mate is never an issue. Zara’s ex makes a half hearted attempt to show up once. Otherwise, zero drama. The friends both realized early on they wanted Zara, and wanted to be a pack. Ben took a bit to get over his rejection issues, but he was on board as well. So pretty easy going for everyone overall. Plenty of steamy heat scenes. Obviously we have an HEA. If you’re looking for easy to read, sweet, lighthearted omegaverse, this one fits the bill.
Rating- good but with issues Heat- 3 Tropes- insta love, MFMM, sweet omegaverse, abusive ex, single parent, falling for nanny
Sometimes I just want a low angst, low drama read, and Knot Just the Nanny is certainly that. It is sweet and simple with likable characters. While there is a hint of some typical dramatic tropes, like jealous exs and enemies to lovers, the author chose to never really develop them. The lack of them doesn’t take away from the book as long as you are in the mood for an easy read. What is missing from the story is world building. Every omegaverse world is different. In some, omegas are rare and prized. Sometimes they are treated as less than. Packs are often common but occasionally they are not. There is absolutely nothing about how society works in this book. The only thing we learn is that bonds can be broken, but even that is never explained. The guys aren’t a pack in the beginning, but they don’t hesitate at forming one, so we get no sense of normal family structures. We also don’t go into depth about these characters. All we see is their interactions. They guys go to work each day. What do they do there? No idea. Zara is hired as a nanny. Is this her career or did she take it due to her circumstances? We are never told. Zara performs the daily tasks of cooking and caring for the baby. Does she have any hobbies or interests? We don’t know. And that baby sleeps ALL THE TIME. Yet not once do we see Zara do anything. Overall, a cute book to read if you want easy but wait until that mood strikes you.
This was an easy and light read. Good balance bt heavier books.
No OW drama just the background of one alpha is heavy w his ex mate. That slowly unravels. It was handled well. There is OM drama but handled in a light manner. And after she leaves him she is never alone w him again. No MM. These guys are longtime bffs.
The author is a good writer of prose. She can put words together well and I like her balance, most of the story, of telling, showing and saying.
At times, the pace of this story was off. I felt like we had a ton of upfront story time but then the middle journey was almost too short. Henry, got very little one on one time w her as compared to Liam and Ben. So he felt slotted and forced in.
And having all the sexy times at the end of the book is tiresome to me. I end up skipping it bc it gets to be too much. I know. Weird. But even that felt forced and almost too early.
I know w these more fantasy type books we have to suspend reality but I think this book could have been a duet.
It is actually too short and I think that is what affected the author’s pacing. Like she knew she needed to wrap up the story and then it just ended. 😝😂I know. WEIRD. But this is an actual plot and story that needed two books.

Knot Just Their Nanny is a lighthearted but oh so steamy reverse harem romance that brings the fire of desire in tenfold alongside the moments that set your heart alight and your soul spinning. When Zara becomes the nanny of a rejected alpha mate’s young daughter, she never imagines to be thrust into the world of desire, mixing work with pleasure is something that doesn’t cross her mind…but when the world spins on its axis, can Zara understand what she truly wants? Is she capable of fighting desire as she works alongside a man who thinks he can do everything?
This was brilliant. So lighthearted. So romantic it truly felt like an escape. Eve has a way of transporting you into the world, making you feel so immersed that you genuinely feel like you’re going through the story right alongside the characters. It was emotional. It was beautiful. It was sensual, steamy and seductive. It had everything that you could possibly want.
I’ve always said that Eve does this genre well and this standalone is no exception! Badass, independent and wonderfully brilliant characters - a strong woman who is sure of herself but unafraid of showing her emotions, strong and brooding alpha males that show their vulnerabilities and are all the better for it. They are wonder on their own but together, they’re truly magical. I adored this reading journey and it’s been so lovely to dive back into the genre with this!
I absolutely love omegaverses. So when I was scrolling for a new one I saw this was being released and grabbed it. I finished this in one day. This has all the amazing tropes too! Single dad x nanny Grumpy x sunshine Fated mated Workplace romance Slow burn I devoured this book. You’ve got Zara who is a 23 year old omega who is now working for Ben a newly single dad and rejected mate looking after his 3 month old baby daughter. Then in steps in his two best friends Liam and Henry. Liam is a total flirt and a used to be playboy Henry is more quiet and reclusive but knows something is different about their connection. What I loved about this was it wasn’t like a typical omega verse, yes a lot of the aspects are there but it’s not focused on knotting and mating bites and heats. There was an actual plot to the story. I really enjoyed the characters and their connections. This is a non shifter omega verse with no MM the alphas are focused on her and her alone it does have spice but not until way into the book because it’s slow burning. This was one of my favorites omega verses I have read
I didn't really connect with the characters and didn't really feel like they fell in love it was like they were strangers one moment and madly in love the next. And I'm a bit angry writing this because that final chapter announcement with the timing just seriously made me angry. Way to take a baby's birthday and make it about you. That also pretty much solidified the thought that the supposed perfect mom is a crap parent that doesn't realize the bottom line basic tenant of being a parent that your kids come first. News like that can wait for another day because it's downright selfish to yank attention away from a kid on their birthday. Additionally I'd like to know what's wrong with this baby if at 3 mos old they only eat and sleep. And they only stay awake long enough to be fed before returning to sleep 24 hours a day. If that's all their was to a newborn nobody would find parenting stressful or difficult because they'd only need to actually parent every 4 hours for 15 minutes. Babies sleep a lot yes but they'd have to have some kind of serious medical issues to sleep that much.
I’m a big fan of OV and the single parent/nanny trope so when I found this I was like what the heck, why not give it a shot.
This particular OV universe was different than what I’m used to but still ended up an cute read. The writing style wasn’t my cup of tea but the overall story was nice. I’m so glad that they all got their HEA in the end. Mia was absolutely adorable. I do wish we got a tiny bit more there in the end with the full pack.
I did notice that there were several parts in the story where a place/person/outfit was described one way and completely changed in the next sentence and or paragraph which made it really hard to get into the story. I’m a big details person so when a dress is said to be yellow, but matches her blue eyes, as she pulls the yellow dress over her head. It makes it really hard to stay in the story. But overall a good story and interesting concept.
This was an absolutely amazing heartfelt love story that captured my heart! This book starts off with like a slowburn, but when that heat hits, it hits hard! The teasing and skirting around the attraction line in this book was absolutely amazing.
Zara is a sweet, bubbly woman who helps to bring light into this little family just by being herself. She has a true motherly spirit that brought joy to my heart. Ben is a brooding alpha who has moments that had me dying with laughter. Mmm and Liam is such a flirty alpha that has such a sweet, caring side. Henry rounds out the group by bringing a caring, loving head that wraps the whole pack together.
I highly recommend you pick up this standalone because you will devour this lighthearted romance in seconds. There are a few moments that will bring tears and plenty of "awe"worthy moments!
I feel like it's been forever since I have given five stars. This book was everything. I absolutely loved it.
I call books like these palate cleansers because you get exactly what you expect, it's short yet sweet, and isn't a headache to understand the world they are in. It's not overly exhilarating but for someone like me that reads 5-10 books a week it is a really nice break from books that are super in depth.
I do think all of the actions of the characters made sense for each of them. The fmc was a bit of a pushover BUT it made sense. She was an omega, she understood that she was working for an alpha that had a broken bond and her nature is to calm alphas. It was refreshing to read an omegaverse where the omega is actually embracing her nature rather than doing everything she can to go against it.
Do you need something Sweet and Spicy to read? Do you want to literally laugh out loud and have to explain your giggles to your significant other? Then have I got the book for you!! This book met all of my requirements for a light summer read! I could not put it down, I was reading while working, cooking, didn't go to sleep until I finished it. Zara won my heart the moment she walked onto the page. This non shifting omegaverse book is a real page turner. Ben is a grumpy guy but he has reason to be, and I love how Eve lets us experience the history and character building that we need in order to really understand the characters. The FMC is so full of life and she really helps to make you smile. This book literally had me smiling until the very last page
Knot Just Their Nanny is an omegaverse romance that follows Zara as she leaves her life in London behind to work as a nanny for an alpha who’s mate has left him and broken the bond that they share along with their three month old daughter. Along with this grumpy alpha she also meets his two best friends and feels a draw towards all three.
I found this book to be an enjoyable read with a storyline I found interesting. It was quite a sweet and fluffy omegaverse and a brilliant, fairly lighthearted book to read. I loved the characters, especially the way the alphas wormed their way into Zara’s life and Bens home.
Overall, this was a really good read and I would 100% recommend it.
The start of this book had me tangled in the web that is Eve Newton. Watching Zara, our sweet omega, stand up for herself and claim a new beginning was empowering. Then when she meets her men one at a time , and kinda all at once they begin to show her how much she is wanted, needed and above all how far they are willing to go for her. When Zara shows emotions towards Ben, that even Ben forgot he was worthy of receiving it made my heart swoon even more. This entire story had me by a choke hold. I kept waiting for a shoe to drop like so many other Omegaverse do but Eve is nothing like other Authors. She is unique and her own and she shows it in her writing. This book has it all. Spice Plot Happiness And all the feels. It’s definitely one that will remain on my comfort book list!!
I’m a major fan of Omegaverse novels. I’m a major, MAJOR fan of sweet, slice of life romances. I’m a ginormous fan of books which there’s two themes collide. This is a glorious novel about an Omega who -fresh off a break-up - takes a job as a nanny for a rejected alpha and his 3-month-old little girl. As she draws him out of his shell, his two best friends start to show interest, and before you know it, our Omega is hurtling headlong toward her pack. I don’t either.
There was no major drama, no terrible angst. This was possibly the sweetest omegaverse book I’ve read and I enjoyed it from the first sentence. So good!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Zara who is an Omega and leaves her ex-boyfriend to move to The Lake District to be a nanny to a little girl, Mia and her father Ben, who is a rejected alpha. This was their story and how Zara was able to help. Ben heal from the pain of being rejected, and how Liam and Henry, his best friends stuck by him and eventually formed a pack where they knew that Zara was their fated mate. And formed a family that was together for the rest of their lives.
I am voluntarily leaving my review for this book and this is my honest and fair opinion.
You'd think by her 100th book, she'd have figured out sentence structure. This book was exhausting to read. I was constantly backtracking to change my tone because of incomplete and run on sentences, not to mention the extra commas (and I'm a fan of the Oxford comma). Add to that that the entirety of the book (minus the epilogue) takes place in less than 2 weeks and the baby does not act like a 3-month-old (or a 1-year-old in the epilogue), and I had a lot of issues with this book. I did enjoy the characters and the general story -and the gaslighting ex was portrayed very well - but I'm going to avoid this author in the future.
So this author I swear can write anything. This one is an omegaverse and her 100th book. This is a story that builts and it takes a little time because of what Ben has been through with his ex and he needs to let go before letting new love in. Can he though? He is a bit grumpy. Luckily he has friends that back him up but they also want a piece of the nanny he hired. However money is tight and they are pitching in to help and are there to stay as long as needed. This romance I loved reading so much!
Great change of pace from my typical reads. Nice heartwarming story with a single dad trying to do what’s best for his daughter while getting over rejection with his 2 best friends by his side. What he didn’t expect was how awesome the nanny would be for him and his family. Loved the story from start to finish, couldn’t put it down! I’m not super familiar with omegaverse but Eve did a great job explaining the details while including it in the story too, loved it!
Zara (FMC) is an absolute sweetheart in this book. A job pops up for her giving her an opportunity to escape the city and start afresh after breaking up with her Ex-Boyfriend - Eddie. To take care of baby Mia and work for her Alpha Daddy - Ben. Who has had his own set of problems. I loved the dynamic Zara had with the guys. Sweet, fun and protective too. She seemed to have a way of breaking through their defences especially with Ben and fit perfectly into their lives. A heartwarming and endearing read with characters I really liked.
I was hooked from the very beginning because what Zara was going through happens in everyday life. If you lived it, then you know exactly what she is going through and feeling, so you end up getting sucked in with that bond. Then you meet not 1, but 3 alpha males that complete the perfect family. Steamy, love at first sight romance that makes your heart happy for happy endings for this family! Just wish there were more to the story. WTG on your 100th book, Eve!
What can I say… this is a typical Eve Newton book. Low angst, and just enough heartache to make you fall in love with the characters. I really enjoy reading her worlds, she typically writes heroines that are simply every day people. No hidden magics, no top secret experiments, no Big Bads chasing them. Just the average woman that finds her HEA. Anytime I want something more realistic I know to reach for an Eve Newton book, because it will pull me out of my head and leave my heart feeling full. Happy Reading Friends!
I can’t say I’d recommend this one. It’s pretty dull. It’s filled with every day minutia.
Zara feeds and changes the baby. She makes toast. She makes tea or coffee. She decides to make cottage pie. She adds cheese on top of the cottage pie. She makes spaghetti. She adds onions to the sauce. Over and over and over again.
Is there something wrong with this baby? Mia spends 23 hours a day sleeping in her crib. I’m worried she has bed sores.
Does Zara have hobbies, hopes, aspirations? Does anyone in this book?
I so fell in love with this story. This story was one of the absolute sweetest Omegaverse I have ever read. Loved Zara. She was so sweet and just perfect. I read this book from front to back and just loved it. Storyline was so good. Also loved the guys. I can’t pick a favorite because they were all amazing. Great plot and yes the steam(drool) off the charts. Haven’t read to many sweet Omegaverse stories but by far this one will be my favorite. Definitely recommend.

This sweet omegaverse read is a slow burn, at 75% things start to happen (finally). There is no OW drama but one of the MMC's (the single dad) talks often about his ex Nicole (for me personally he talks too much about her).
I thank God Eve introduced this as her 100th book. Bravo for the 100th. I'm permanently hooked. A story filed with witty banter, and hot steamy suspense filled moments. Great book for sitting in the sun and breazing through for fun. I wish I'd done that. Instead I was reading it in a Dr office waiting room. I even laughed out loud a number of times. Try not to get funny looks because of that! Zara and the boys had me captivated. Their story of trust, love and lifes destiney is truly inspiring.
I absolutely loved this book. What a wonderful way to celebrate a huge milestone like this by having a book that just sucks you right in. Zara is funny, sassy, and sweet. She doesn't let the alphas push her around. Her new life definitely gives her more than she was expecting, but it's perfect for her. Each of the guys offers her something that the other doesn't, and it makes for the perfect pack. I enjoyed reading this book
I really liked this OV! I loved that there was no other woman drama and no third act breakup! It’s really hard to find OV that have the vibe this one’s has and I am so happy I found this one!
The characters are all really likeable and the writing is really good! I did have one note, I wish that there would have been a time jump to give more time for the relationship because it went from slow burn to insta love but i still really enjoyed it!
