Great Great Story!!
I absolutely loved reading this one. I want more of the story. It can’t just end with that Epilogue. 😩😩😩 So many strong characters - Etain, Bhaltair, Kaden, Marcus, Euan, and Tristan. Though I hated Euan I was happy with how things turned out. To me there is still more to this story. I loved almost all of the characters and I loved the storyline so much. More More More!!!! I know it’s like beating a dead horse but I think things should be settled at Clan Baird!! On to Cecelia Mecca’s newest book in “To Protect- Knight’s School Chronicles.”🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

Excellent book and one of Kenna’s best, as a child Etain falls in love with her brother’s best friend Bhaltair who was 10 years older than her. When she confesses her feelings for him he brutally rejects her breaking her heart. She vows to never make that mistake again and for the next five years Etain keeps that vow but when Bhaltair shows up back at the castle will she be able to keep it. This is well written and the characters are great I didn’t want to put it down. I look forward to reading her next book!!

Prison escape to freedom
Etain has had feelings for Bhaltair for a few years. Bhaltair disappears for 5 years with no reason. He shows up and she tries to play like she has no feeling. Her brother Kaden told Bhaltair years ago not to touch her. Bhaltair finally tells them where he had been. The new Laird of his clan is evil and trying to kill him. The love and dangers is this book are awesome. Its a must read series

I’m a sucker for highlanders romance and second chance so I purchased this book thinking it will be the perfect read. The plot synopsis is captivating and the plot has potential, but I was just so bored I stopped reading a few times and couldn’t continue with the novel.
The writing is not eloquent, felt very much like short sentences narration rather than a story unfolding. I haven’t been able to jump into the novel.

Good Read,
Another good read in this "Hearts Aflame" series, I especially enjoyed Eitain lady maid Elspeth she added much humor to the story. All the characters were fine both main and supporting, and again especially glad for Balthair and Eitain to get their happily ever after because true love always conquer all.

Leading man trying to do right thing, but the heart wants different and timing is everything. Difficult to understand how parents could treat their children so badly, but it happens all the time. Enjoyed the book

Great cover, the story was a nice highland romance between a tortured, hunky, highlander and the feisty little sister of his former best friend. It was ok, not my favorite, but it was an ok use of my time.

Lady Etain has been love with Bhaltair from a young girl. Bhaltair did not allow it although he loved her also. A Laird was after his life. Finally their love took hold and he became a Laird. For anyone liking Highlander books please read Kenna Kendrick’s books.
