What do you do when you meet your person but, the timing is wrong? From the moment Fluency caught sight of Syx slow grindin’ in the parkin’ lot at the kick back, he wanted to know everything about her. Between the long intense stares and the sexy banter, the attraction and chemistry was apparent. Unfortunately for Syx and Fluency, their lives are on two different trajectories which pretty much deads any kind of future between them. But, fate said, “Hold my beer. I got somthin’ for y’all.” What they thought could never be may not be the case at all. This was such a cute story. I absolutely adored Syx and Fluency. This was my first book by Kennedy B. but, it definitely won’t be the last.

Now y’all know that any author that throws my hometown in their books is good in my hood!! And then summertime at the lake?!?!!!!! IYKYMFK!!!! Ayeeeeeee *twerks with tongue out*

Sxy and Fluency were a whole vibe!! Both are looking to or have recently shed dead weight and want to enjoy the company of someone new. The chemistry was instant and intense and there was no stopping the inevitable from happening!

This is definitely one of my favorites from the series and not because of the obvious 🥰 these two had a story that flowed really well. There was humor, friendship, sisterhood and it felt like a full length story and not just a moment in time.

I really do hope it’s love in book 2 because they definitely won me over. This was my first read by this author and I can already tell that I’m going to enjoy more from her in the future!

A moment

Ok Ms. Kennedy B, she was a ntma and I enjoyed this snack of a read.

Syx and Fluency both find themselves trying to get away from previous situationships and find a moment of peace with each other. They aren't asking for too much of each other, but decide to just enjoy their time together.

It was a short read, but the chemistry was felt. The haters were annoying. The storyline was interesting and it gave what it was supposed to give. I would read more about Syx and Fluency and I look forward to reading more from Kennedy B.

Exactly what I needed after a long 700+ book! Instant chemistry between two strangers on two different trajectories, both tired of being tired in dead end situations decide to indulge and it seems as if they get more than what they bargained for. Ends with one dead end situation possibly becoming permanent. Hmmmm. Good read.

nice very nice

Wow this book is so lit. Flue and Syx wow they can be a power couple. Brandon and tootsie need to go somewhere and sit down. It’s no way she pregnant for my boy the way she kept tryna get his attention with all she was doing. I gotta get and update on this one cause I believe Syx is pregnant too. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Whew chile

Ikyl!!! I tell you what Kennedy, this better not be the last time seeing them. I’m trying to see what the vibes in NY going to be on. Honestly, you can do a time jump if necessary but don’t leave me hanging like that. This was such a good, quick read!! Them both being in similar situations, the instant attraction, then big news at the end of the night. Definitely need to spin the block!

and I wanted that real bad after reading this one and I just realized I never reviewed this one. I loved the instant chemistry between Syx and Fluency. I felt there was something there to be explored and would love to see them again and now they are back! I’m so excited to read book two.

The chemistry between Syx & Fluency was *chefs kiss*. This was so short & sweet but good. Fluency aura just screams BDE. I think Syx for him is good. Tootie gotta go shorty for the streets.

Fluency and Syx couldn’t keep their eyes off each other that it wasn’t a surprise that they ended their night together in ecstasy enjoying one another. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Tootie saying she’s pregnant and the outcome of Fluency and Syx without protection that last time.

Recently graduated good girl and professional dancer Syx crosses paths with Fluency. Every interaction they have is an entire vibe. They hook up and he leaves which is fine because they are completely different paths in life. She has a job offer and he has a crazy ex still trying to get his attention.

I didn't know how to feel when this ended. I know this series is about them NOT catching feelings. And they did exactly that, they had a causal encounter and moved on with their lives separately. But I small part of me wanted more.
