The Gap

Rate this book
A Christian Age Gap Romance

I had everything I'd ever wanted before I even turned 30. A great education, a beautiful home--which I purchased with money from my own business. A business worth 4.7 billion dollars. I even had a wonderful husband who stood by my side.

And then he left me.

One day, I was a successful woman with everything going for me. The next, I was being sued by my own husband.

Everyone keeps saying God is here with me in this storm, but the only person I see is some kid who parks my car for a ten-dollar tip. He won't leave me alone. But ... his company isn't so bad. He listens to me. He's honest with me. And he says he prays for me.

Maybe God is here. Maybe God brought this young man into my life. But he's just a twenty-something kid...
I shouldn't feel this way for someone so young. So inexperienced. But I also can't deny the connection we have.
If this love is from God, then our age gap shouldn't matter... Right?

The Gap - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TROPES:
- Clean & Christian Read
- Reverse Age Gap Romance
- Multi-Millionaire FMC

Absolutely loved “The Gap” by A. Bean!! Had a fast-paced storyline, tons of funny moments, and a wonderful message of Christ. If you are a lover of rom-coms or any of the listed tropes, I highly suggest giving this book a try 💞

Not me pacing back/forth and saying Amen while reading. I don’t find a lot of Christian fiction Romances that feature black and minority characters that I actually like. This was a great read featuring an older leading lady as opposed to the usual older man which is also slightly refreshing. While I would’ve appreciated if there were some clips from sermons in the book, the storyline brought together struggles that one can actually face as Riders for the most high!!! The only thing I regret is that it’s finished, and one other thing that I cannot elaborate on without exercising my ability to regurgitate information!!!

A. Bean has a way of telling stories which are both uplifting and uproariously funny. Constance and her husband were a power couple until he decided that he wanted to step away from their union in a public and humiliating fashion. Constance is left with the remnants of their business and the tatters of her pride. When she agrees to meet a client at a local and exclusive restaurant her ex-husband Daniel is there before her along with his pregnant girlfriend. Constance is livid and appears unhinged, so much so, that Joaquin, the young valet has to step in to make sure that she gets home safely. As young as he is, Joaquin has seen a lot and soon becomes the person who stands in the gaps in all the broken places in her life. This story is a lovely example of faith, hope and perseverance with a small helping of heat. I loved it!

This was an exceptional story for so many reasons. I loved the romance, both main characters were flawed and flawless. The pain and betrayal was real but the faith was ten times better. I was impacted by this novel in a way that I cannot put in words. Overall, I loved it from start to finish. Highly recommend this!

Whirlwind of Emotions

This has been one of my favorite reads this year! Connie and Keem had me in a choke hold of emotions. Many times I found myself angry with them just wanting to yell "Tell him/her how you really feel! Don't walk away!!" But it was all important for their character growth. I love this book and I can't wait to read more from A. bean!

I really really really enjoyed this book! I haven’t read much Christian romance, but this story was so fun, inspiring, and had a great message. The author has a beautiful way of story telling. Can’t wait to check out the rest of her work!
