Hidden Protector is Book 2 of Promises From The Heart. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, runaway bride, curvy girl gets her billionaire protector romance. Emma is a 23 year old curvy virgin. She has fled from her own wedding with literally the dress on her back. It was a horrible match that was arranged by her Senator father. Devon is a 38 year old hunky tech billionaire who moonlights as a bartender at the local resort. When Emma wanders into the resort in her dirty wedding dress, Devon is instantly taken with her. He promptly books her a suite and vows to take care of her. This story was instalove at its finest! Their chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥! There is a bit of ex and daddy drama, but our couple gets a lovely HEA. The way Devon takes care of her is completely swoon-worthy!! He is another hunk to be added to my book boyfriend list. Now I need to go back and read book 1. I loved it!!!.

I enjoyed "Hidden Protector" by Ebony Snow. Emma is running away from an arranged marriage. Devon is hit by Cupid's arrow at first sight of her. She is in distress and he respectfully offers to help her. Devon is sweetly careful and protective with her. Emma is determined to figure out what she wants and gain a sense of control in her life.
This short romance has good worldbuilding details, descriptive outdoor/indoor settings and realistic dialogue. Even though it is an insta-love situation, they do not jump immediately into intimacy. An entertaining mix of playful, thoughtful and passionate. 5 stars.

From the moment Devon lays eyes on Emma as she’s sneaking into the resort’s lobby looking disheveled in a wedding dress, he knows she’s going to be someone important in his life. Emma’s barely escapes her arranged marriage and ends up taking cover in the lobby of a resort. She’s met by Devon who’s sweet and kind and offers her a safe place to hide. She’s been kept in a gilded cage for most of her life and has had to follow her father’s demands. Now she has freedom to do what she wants but will her luck run out? This was a cute age gap story with plenty of steam. Devon is a sweetheart and can tell that Emma has gone through a lot and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make her his. What happens when they do find her? What has she learned about herself and Devon?.

This is book 2 from Promises From the Heart series. I enjoy when authors do series and we get to reconnect with characters from previous books. Ebony Snow is a new author to me. I will be reading more books by her. Devon and Emma are great characters. I enjoyed their story. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

This was a fun fast insta-love romance for Devon and Emma. She escapes an arranged wedding and when she shows up at the resort, Devon instantly knows she's it for him. With caring and consideration, he gets her set up in a room and takes care of her needs...all while wooing her ;D Emma blossoms like a flower with his attention and I loved the showdown with her father and supposed groom. Expect a spicy and engaging read with some drama when you dive into this fun romance :D

Put a runaway bride and a geeky rich older bartender together and you will have a good read. Ms Snow gives us characters to root for with page turning spice and intrigue. A great quick read that can be read as a stand alone, but if you have read book 1 you can catch up & revisit with your favorite characters.

Devon see her come in and is instantly interested in her. He vows to keep her safe and make her happy.

Love this series of Novellas

I'm definitely reading every book in this series. Who am I kidding I read all of Ebony Snows novellas.

If you like short and sweet without a lot of drama these are the books for you. They are perfect for a palette cleanser after a dark or emotional book.

A must read book and series. Can't wait to start the next one.

My rating for this one is a 3.5. This is a well written short story with good characters. This is one for that day when you have to squeeze reading in when you can. I would have liked to have seen more of their story. I would encourage everyone looking for a quick read to get this one.
