3 stars. I have a hard time rating this book. I actually enjoyed the storyline here but felt the book was rushed and some of the dialogue was cringy. An ex navy seal named Sierra lives in the remote woods in Montana when her friend’s daughter suddenly goes missing. Her friend asks for help from her considering her background and the fact the local police really don’t help. That is, except for officer rivera. Rivera and sierra go out on their own to hunt down a ring of sex traffickers and kidnappers. I liked the thrill of the book, though I’m not sure how realistic it was. The love story between the two main characters kind of came out of nowhere and felt very rushed. There was essentially no character development and I felt both characters had really interesting back stories I would have loved to have been elaborated on more. I dont want to rate it lower than a 3 because I enjoyed the plot but I can’t give it a higher score. I could see a second novel come of this book, and if there is I’d prefer it to be longer actually with more background on the characters and better dialogue. If I had a dollar for every time a character said “damn it” I’d be rich.

Lo odie.

Tenía muchas expectativas y no es malo solo es muy mediocre la parte que odie fue que fui a chusmear lo siguientes libros y los leí muuuuy por encima y la mina es una pelotuda hay una escena en la que se me revolvió el estómago de la bronca no fue infidelidad como tal pero-

Alex merece mucho más, se que hay gente con traumas y que merecen una oportunidad pero yo no podría y Alex tampoco debería i'm just saying.

En fin me dió mucha bronca.

I recommend this book

This is a really good read. The characters are interesting and well written. The story is sad and unfortunately these really happen. The story kept my interest from beginning to end. I just wanted the girls to be rescued and the bad guys caught. Ex women navy seal and a rookie cop both heroes. Thanks

I loved the description in it. But I didn't like how some parts of the book didn't... flow. Also, I don't like how Officer Rivera was made to seem incompetent and weak at certain points.
But it's still not a bad read.

Really Good!!

I really like this story, it was fast paced and kept my attention. I always enjoy a good story with a strong woman veteran who kicks the bad guys butts all over the place

Good fast read

Part of the reason I gave four stars, is because of the point of view changing back and forth. Character development is a little weak; as though there is more to each character. Hopefully, the sequels will show more character development.

Struggled to Finish

I feel bad rating this book so low, but I definitely couldn’t bring myself to rate it any higher. It felt rushed, very little character development, and the romantic interests are just suddenly thrown together. The idea was there, however the execution fell short in my opinion. Had a very difficult time finishing the book.
