For about thirty years now children have been cursed with being born with special abilities. As more and more children came forward with their abilities, fear grew and spread throughout the nation regarding these children. A radical group by the name of Asylum fed off of that fear, increasing their numbers and taking down all of those born with a special ability. Seventeen-year-old Peyton has had enough. Asylum's evil reign has gone on long enough. She and her new friends have a plan to take Asylum down. But what happens when Peyton has several run-ins with Asylum's top warrior and feelings develop?
